After applying it to my face, the fresh feeling and the fragrance really lift my mood.
ConsIt has a slightly oily texture, and I prefer products with more hydration. It didn't suit my skin well, causing frequent blemishes, so I gave it to my mom. She seems to be using it without issues. The dispenser for the toner is a bit inconvenient, though.

The subtle rose fragrance is absolutely lovely!
ConsWhile it might feel a tad rich at first, the hydrating effect is truly wonderful.
TipAfter using this as my toner, I prefer following up with a light emulsion rather than a heavy cream for a fresh finish.

I discovered the Reviving Rose Toner in a gorgeous glass bottle with a refreshing strawberry milk hue. As a tired mom, it instantly lifted my spirits. Like Yongsik meeting Dongbaek, finding this toner in the box doubled my joy of winning the Hwahae Testers event. Nowadays, with so many products available, both design and performance are crucial. I'll provide a detailed review of each aspect. Application: The toner has separate oil and water layers, so I shake it 2-3 times before use. When applied to a cotton pad, it releases an intense rose fragrance, stimulating the senses. While fragrances can be divisive, I adore rose scents, and this one isn't overly artificial. There's also a subtle herbal note that makes application refreshing and mood-boosting. Absorption: I apply it twice using a cotton pad. It absorbs well and feels rich, likely due to its oil content. Moisturization: Even with just the toner, my skin doesn't feel dry or tight while I'm caring for the kids. I've occasionally fallen asleep wearing only this! But of course, using only toner isn't recommended. Overall experience: I've incorporated this into my routine with other staple products, and my skin maintains its health without any blemishes. As someone with dry, sensitive skin prone to breakouts from products that disrupt my oil-moisture balance, I'm pleased to report no adverse reactions so far.
ConsOn the first day, despite the balance of hydration and richness, I felt a slight tingling sensation. Being super sensitive, I was worried, but over the next few days, no blemishes appeared and the tingling subsided. While I enjoy the fragrance, I'm a bit concerned about the red flag for harmful ingredients, likely due to the added scent. As a parent, I worry about strong fragrances affecting my baby. However, personally, I find the lovely rose scent quite satisfying.
TipReferencing other reviews, some users found it inconvenient to apply directly from the bottle. However, I use a cotton pad, which seems to alleviate these issues. As a tip, using a cotton pad allows for even absorption and prevents spills, ensuring a clean application. Applying the toner twice before makeup enhances absorption. While results may vary depending on skin type, I found this method worked well for me.

I thought only the bottle was pink, but surprisingly the actual product is pink too. After using transparent toners for so long, seeing a pink one was quite intriguing. When I first tested it on my hand, it felt like applying oil? It was as if it was creating an oil barrier on the skin. I have dry skin but don't like skincare products that feel greasy, so I was worried. However, after about ten minutes, it settled into a fresh finish as if it had never been greasy. I usually get hives if a product doesn't suit me, but despite my concerns about the ingredients, thankfully nothing like that happened. The scent is rose, which felt overwhelming at first, but as I continued using it, my nose seemed to adapt and now it feels just right. Oh, and the bottle opening has an interesting design, though I find it a bit tricky to control the amount that comes out.
ConsFirstly, the ingredients are a bit disappointing. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I was cautious when first using it due to the potential allergens. Also, although it's meant for dry skin, it doesn't feel as hydrating as I expected. It feels a bit dry with just one application, so I thought about doing the '3-skin method', but since it applies with an oily sheen, layering it three times felt too heavy. The fragrance is also a downside - it's too artificial. I got used to it eventually, but at first, the combination of the oily texture and artificial scent made me worry it might cause skin issues. While I received it for free as part of The Hwahae Testers, the price point is also a bit disappointing.

Since I don't really need to carry it around, I think it's good from an environmental perspective. The overall box and packaging materials are all paper, which shows they put a lot of thought into it. After using it for about two weeks, I didn't experience any major blemishes. I was worried it might be too oily because of the oil layer, but for dry skin, it seems to have just the right amount of richness. I have oily skin and my mom has dry skin, so we tried it together. My mom says that lately, after washing her face, her skin has a glow to it, though we're not sure if it's because of this product. We'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. For now, she likes it and is thinking about buying another bottle when this one runs out.
ConsSince it's a product with a fair amount of oil, it might be too heavy for oily skin types. It seems better suited for dry skin, especially during seasonal changes like winter. The scent is quite artificial and strong, so those sensitive to fragrances might not like it. When mixed with oil, the texture becomes slightly sticky, so you need to pat it in for absorption rather than using it as an exfoliating toner. Personally, I prefer using toners as exfoliating toners, so I've included this in the drawbacks.

It reminds me of strawberry milk, so cute! The frosted glass bottle adds to its beauty and gives off an eco-friendly vibe. Rather than using it like a regular toner with a cotton pad, I found it works better as a soothing pack. Just soak a cotton pad and leave it on your face like a mini-mask. The texture isn't super light due to the oil layer, which is perfect for this method. This is ideal for those with dry, dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness. As someone with oily skin, I did experience a few blemishes, unfortunately.
ConsIt's too rich for my liking. It's difficult to use as a regular toner.
TipPro tip: Use the 5-layer cotton pads from Olive Young as a mini-mask on areas prone to makeup separation in winter, like cheeks or chin. Apply it before makeup for a smoother application and better adherence!

Both mixed and unmixed, it looks lovely, and the bottle design is attractive too. • I appreciate their eco-friendly packaging approach to reduce environmental impact. While some might find the scent strong, I personally enjoyed it. • It's moisturizing and absorbs well. It seems to provide a decent level of hydration! • As someone with sensitive/combination/blemish-prone and combination dehydrated skin, I found it agreeable so far. No blemishes appeared (I'll update my review with continued use). True to its name as a treatment toner, it feels like it's adding a protective layer as it absorbs into the skin.
ConsAreas for improvement: • For combination or oily skin types, this might be better suited as a winter toner. It doesn't completely address the deep dryness in combination dehydrated skin. On my combination skin, it feels slightly rich. While it doesn't cause pilling under makeup, oil does surface over time. I'm currently using it at night, and when I cleanse the next morning, there's a slight slippery feeling. • While the eco-friendly packaging is commendable, I wish the ingredients were even better. It's disappointing that there are 8 potential allergens. When used as a mask, it felt slightly tingly. Though it didn't cause blemishes, there was a slight redness (individual experiences may vary). It might have been better without the potentially allergenic fragrances. • It provides some hydration, but you'll likely need to use it with other moisturizing products. It doesn't address deep dryness on its own. • The opaque glass bottle design is pretty, but the price and quantity are a bit disappointing. As someone who uses toners generously, the product depletes quickly. It's not ideal for frequent mask use - it's better to apply a suitable amount by hand or use it with one cotton pad for wiping. • It's probably best avoided on days when your skin feels super sensitive. I experienced some tingling! Overall, it's a decent product if you avoid using it on sensitive days.
TipPro tips! • Don't throw away the white cap inside when you open the toner! It's there for a reason. I accidentally discarded it and now have to cover the opening with a cotton pad when shaking to prevent the product from getting on the inside of the lid. • It's better to apply with your hands or a cotton pad rather than using it as a mask! • This toner isn't recommended for oily skin types! It seems more suitable for dry or combination skin.

Without using oil and hydrating products, my skin becomes itchy, irritated, and flaky, and if skincare doesn't suit me, my face turns red. This toner has separate oil and water layers that you shake to mix. When applied, it provides both hydration and a rich feel. It's moisturizing but not heavy, making my skin feel comfortable right away and suits me well. The color is like strawberry milk, with a subtle rose scent, and I personally love that it comes in a glass bottle.
ConsWhen pouring it out to apply, it sometimes drips down the side, so I had to wipe it off before closing the cap. Those who prefer the fresh texture of Aromatica toners (lavender, rosemary) might have mixed feelings about this product due to its hydrating and rich sensation.
TipI applied this product first, then layered my other skincare on top. If you don't control the amount well, it can make your makeup not adhere properly and feel heavy. I had to adjust the quantity based on my skin's condition each day and coordinate with my other products, removing some if necessary to avoid overwhelming my skin.

You can feel the moisturizing effect on your face with just this toner alone. Compared to the Dokdo toner I used before, the Rose Infusion toner provides an unparalleled level of hydration! After absorption, it's like a moisturizing veil covers your face. Your skin feels incredibly hydrated and soft. If you find skincare routines tedious, this one product could allow you to skip emulsion! 2. The subtle rose fragrance is delightful. It's not artificial, but rather a gentle, natural scent like you'd find in a flower shop. 3. Both the shipping and product packaging are eco-friendly. The protective shipping materials were paper-based, and the product itself came in completely paper packaging! It's wonderful to see a brand that considers the environment. 4. It's beautiful... From the moment I took it out, from the bottle to the color of the toner, it's just absolutely gorgeous and totally my style. Plus, the small opening of the bottle makes it easy to control the amount you use.
ConsThe only downside is that it feels slightly rich, so it doesn't have that ultra-light toner feel. Even though I have oily skin and use it well, those who dislike any hint of richness might want to pass on this one.
TipI use it like an exfoliating toner, first wiping my face with it, then reapplying to let it absorb. This method leaves my face incredibly smooth.

I plan to update and modify the content if I notice anything new after using it for about 1-2 weeks! * 1. It looks absolutely gorgeous. It really resembles strawberry milk, and even the logo-like text is super clean, making it very attractive. As soon as I opened the package, I thought 'Wow, it's beautiful'. The color is exactly as shown in the picture. 2. It smells like rose-scented body wash you'd find at the supermarket. This might be a matter of personal preference, but I personally liked it, so I'm listing it as a pro! I might have a cold, but the scent wasn't overwhelmingly strong to me. 3. It has a good balance of hydration and richness. As I have oily skin, it might be a bit heavy for morning use, but the level of hydration and richness is perfect for nighttime application. 4. Rather than being sticky, it has a water-like texture, but it's not overly lightweight either. It's versatile - you can use it as an exfoliating toner, or apply it by hand. It seems suitable for various application methods. 5. I thought I was imagining things, but...! After applying this, somehow my makeup seems to adhere better! For some reason! For some reason..! It really does!
Cons1. There's a slight stickiness. As mentioned above, it's a natural consequence of the appropriate richness, but there is a bit of stickiness. It's just enough for hair to lightly stick to it! 2. The opening makes it difficult to control the amount, making it somewhat inconvenient to use. 3. Maybe because all the products I've used before had lightweight bottles, I almost spilled this glass bottle when I picked it up without thinking. (You can probably ignore this point..) 4. I felt a slight irritation on my face. A kind of warm sensation when applying? 5. When I saw the price of 35,000 won, I thought 'Hmm...?'. I had a strong feeling of 'There are probably other cost-effective products out there, do I really need to spend 35,000 won on this?'
