It has a lovely strawberry milk vibe. It feels wonderfully moisturizing. I heard that if you layer it three times, it becomes even more hydrating.
ConsThe color seems a bit artificial... I wonder if it's okay for the skin. One product alone isn't quite enough, so it's best to use all three in the set.

The type that needs oils/petroleum jelly to somewhat minimize flaking. Overall: A hydrating water-based toner with a moisturizing feel, ideal for normal skin types during winter. For very dry skin, applying multiple layers works well. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious depending on the ingredients. Pros: 1. Hydration - Perhaps due to the oil content, it leaves a slight richness on the face after application, which feels more moisturizing than typical water-based toners. Unlike other water toners where dead skin cells quickly become visible again, this one prevents that issue. 2. Texture: With its water-like consistency, it feels refreshing when applied to the face. As someone with dry skin, I appreciated the slight richness left behind, as it seemed to address my deep dryness! 3. Design: This was unexpectedly pleasing - the bottle design and the product itself are so beautiful that I found myself using it often. I usually only consider ingredients and effectiveness when buying cosmetics, but after using this product, my laziness improved by about 20% haha. Its beauty made me want to use it consistently.
ConsCons: 1. Caution for sensitive skin: Occasionally experienced a stinging sensation with redness 2. Strong rose scent: The rose fragrance is somewhat artificial
Tip1. On days when applying emulsions/creams feels heavy, layering this product alone can provide both hydration and moisture to a decent extent! 2. Not recommended for use as an exfoliating toner

I thought only the bottle was pink, but surprisingly the actual product is pink too. After using transparent toners for so long, seeing a pink one was quite intriguing. When I first tested it on my hand, it felt like applying oil? It was as if it was creating an oil barrier on the skin. I have dry skin but don't like skincare products that feel greasy, so I was worried. However, after about ten minutes, it settled into a fresh finish as if it had never been greasy. I usually get hives if a product doesn't suit me, but despite my concerns about the ingredients, thankfully nothing like that happened. The scent is rose, which felt overwhelming at first, but as I continued using it, my nose seemed to adapt and now it feels just right. Oh, and the bottle opening has an interesting design, though I find it a bit tricky to control the amount that comes out.
ConsFirstly, the ingredients are a bit disappointing. While it didn't cause any blemishes, I was cautious when first using it due to the potential allergens. Also, although it's meant for dry skin, it doesn't feel as hydrating as I expected. It feels a bit dry with just one application, so I thought about doing the '3-skin method', but since it applies with an oily sheen, layering it three times felt too heavy. The fragrance is also a downside - it's too artificial. I got used to it eventually, but at first, the combination of the oily texture and artificial scent made me worry it might cause skin issues. While I received it for free as part of The Hwahae Testers, the price point is also a bit disappointing.

I'm thrilled to share my review after being selected as one of The Hwahae Testers. Please note that this is my personal experience, so use it as a reference. I'm grateful for the opportunity to try this product! Skin type: Originally dry, but after childbirth, my skin became extremely dehydrated with deep dryness. I also developed seborrheic dermatitis, resulting in very rough, dry skin. Overall impression: I was previously using Hatomugi as my toner. (I had stocked up before the boycott, so I couldn't just throw it away. I hope you understand... I won't be using it again once it's finished!) Inevitably, I compared this product to my existing one, and I found it somewhat disappointing. Despite containing oil, it didn't provide the level of hydration I was hoping for. I couldn't find any standout features that would make me switch from my current product, which was a letdown. Repurchase intention: 0% Application: It absorbs quickly, which is typical of watery toners. The application was smooth. Personally, I prefer watery toners over viscous ones. I used it by first applying it with a cotton pad to refine my skin, then patting more directly onto my face with my hands. Effectiveness: Although it's a toner, this product also has brightening properties. I noticed a slight brightening effect the morning after using it, though it wasn't dramatically noticeable. Still, I think it's a success to have this added benefit in a toner. Additionally, this product shows thoughtful consideration for the environment with its glass container, cap, and packaging box. I've become more environmentally conscious since having a child, and I hope to see more products like this in the future.
ConsScent: I generally prefer unscented products or those with subtle, natural scents. However, I found the perfume-like rose scent of this product off-putting. I used to use Mamonde Rose Water Toner a lot, which I remember having a more subtle fragrance. I used to go through several bottles of that, but the artificial rose scent of this product was the biggest disappointment. Ingredients: Given my recently deteriorated skin condition, I've been paying more attention to ingredients lately. This product contained more potential allergens than I expected. When a bit got into my eyes, it stung. Although it claims to be made with naturally derived ingredients, looking at the ingredient list made me feel uneasy.
TipTip: While it might not be much of a tip, applying multiple layers seems to be the best way to feel the hydrating effects. In my case, as mentioned earlier, I first wiped my face with a cotton pad soaked in the toner, then patted more directly onto my skin with my hands. If needed, you might want to apply two or three more layers by patting the product directly onto your face for better absorption.

Since I don't really need to carry it around, I think it's good from an environmental perspective. The overall box and packaging materials are all paper, which shows they put a lot of thought into it. After using it for about two weeks, I didn't experience any major blemishes. I was worried it might be too oily because of the oil layer, but for dry skin, it seems to have just the right amount of richness. I have oily skin and my mom has dry skin, so we tried it together. My mom says that lately, after washing her face, her skin has a glow to it, though we're not sure if it's because of this product. We'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. For now, she likes it and is thinking about buying another bottle when this one runs out.
ConsSince it's a product with a fair amount of oil, it might be too heavy for oily skin types. It seems better suited for dry skin, especially during seasonal changes like winter. The scent is quite artificial and strong, so those sensitive to fragrances might not like it. When mixed with oil, the texture becomes slightly sticky, so you need to pat it in for absorption rather than using it as an exfoliating toner. Personally, I prefer using toners as exfoliating toners, so I've included this in the drawbacks.
