It applies smoothly and thinly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized! Despite being CC cream, it doesn't give a grayish cast. Maybe because of the powder finish, I get some blemishes even though this is the only makeup I use. It gets itchy after a while, and since it applies so thinly, the coverage isn't great. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2019
The color seemed quite natural. It has a matte texture. I applied only this product and went out for a couple of hours. After cleansing with oil, my face became incredibly itchy. When I looked in the mirror, I saw red hives all over my face. While Sulwhasoo's foundation was fine, this CC cream was a disaster. My skin completely flared up, which is so frustrating. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2017
It applies lightly and feels great. It's even lighter than BB cream. It's almost like a liquid type, so that's probably why it feels that way. After applying, my skin looks better at first. Since my skin is sensitive, when I apply this, small bumps start to appear over time. That's why I can't apply it well.. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 18, 2017
My makeup usually looks really good, but this one doesn't seem to smear as much. I've heard that when you wear it, people say your skin looks great! But after I removed it, my face became all red and blotchy, like I had hives, so I stopped using it... Only people with superhuman skin should use this! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 9, 2016
The fact that it applies thinly...? There's really no advantage to it, as it may fit some people's skin types better than others. As I have dry and sensitive skin, I usually look for base products that focus on moisture rather than coverage, but this product is too drying. Even after applying a moisturizing cream, it still feels dry and...my face color doesn't match it, it gets too dark. In the end, I used it for about a week and then gave it to my mom. She said it worked fine for her normal skin type. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 14, 2015
The color matched well and it seemed to be a good fit for oily skin as it was matte. The application was also smooth. At first it felt light and good, but then small bumps and blemishes appeared, so I had to stop using it... It got better when I stopped using this product... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2015
My friend with acne-prone, dehydrated skin and I, who has combination skin with no blemishes, tried the samples together for two days. First, my friend was extremely satisfied, saying she found her holy grail CC cream. Even I could see that it provided the right amount of moisture, blended seamlessly, and made her skin look radiant and bright, with a subtle pink glow - just like her natural fair complexion! However, I couldn't shake off the feeling that it felt a bit heavy on my skin from the very first application. Sure enough, after about an hour and a half of being out, I checked the mirror and saw that the makeup had settled unevenly, appearing chalky rather than white. Luckily, I didn't have any breakouts, and it wasn't extremely cakey, but my brother still commented that it looked like I had too much powder on. Even after exfoliating the night before and using just a small amount mixed with a moisturizer, the makeup still slid off. It wasn't until about 5 hours later that it started to blend in better with the oils on my skin. In conclusion, this makeup seems to work extremely differently depending on one's skin type. I thought it would be fine for my oily skin, and I was only worried about potential breakouts, but if it doesn't match your skin, it can end up looking chalky and sliding off. For my friend, this CC cream was perfect - it gave her the right amount of radiance and matched her skin tone beautifully. I wouldn't write off this product as bad just because it didn't work for me. I'd recommend trying a sample at the Sulwhasoo counter in a department store before purchasing the full-size product.
