Although it's quite expensive, it's very nourishing and supple, and it absorbs into mature, wrinkled skin like a dream, making the skin look more vibrant.
ConsFor a Missha product, the price is quite high. The packaging also has an outdated feel to it. Missha generally doesn't seem to put enough thought into their packaging, which makes me less inclined to want to purchase their products. The concept also feels a bit unclear.

As I've gotten older, I've found myself gravitating more towards products that provide a natural bounce and elasticity.
ConsAfter getting a laser treatment at the dermatologist, my skin felt a bit sensitive, so this product didn't quite agree with me. I'll have to try it again in a month or two to see if it works better.

The case design seems to be appealing to the mother-grandmother side. 2. The texture is similar to an ointment-like jelly, but the spreadability is good. 3. After application, the skin becomes glossy, supple, and plump, which is nice.
Cons1. The characteristic fragrance of traditional Korean medicine cosmetics. 2. If it's expensive, then the price is high. But it's not unaffordable!

It would likely be good for those with very dry skin to use.
ConsIt feels quite heavy. I don't think it would be suitable for oily skin types to use.

Spreadability: The cream is in a balm-like texture and applies smoothly on the skin, like applying a primer. It spreads well and evenly, but after application, it feels a bit slippery and slightly greasy. The gold particles in the formula are also visible, which I found to be nice. Absorption: The product doesn't seem to get absorbed quickly. As per the instructions, I tried to press and massage the cream into the skin to aid absorption, and it did seem to help as the absorption was a bit slower compared to products I've used before. In the mornings, I applied a thin layer due to makeup, and in the evenings, I applied more for a facial massage. When I woke up, my face was not greasy, and the cream had fully absorbed without leaving my skin feeling tight. Moisturizing Power: In my personal opinion, the moisturizing power was good. During the fall and winter seasons, I usually rely on face oils to combat dryness, but this cream alone was able to prevent my skin from feeling parched, without the need for an oil. However, when exposed to cold winds, I did feel some dryness. After using it for 2 weeks, I'm not sure about the whitening effects, but I feel that with continued use, it could be effective in reducing wrinkles. In the mornings after using the cream in the evenings, I noticed my wrinkles were less pronounced. The packaging is also a point of contention for many, but I personally found the luxurious and pretty case to be a mood-booster every time I opened it.
ConsThe disappointing aspects were the ingredients and fragrance. Personally, I found the fragrance to be quite strong, which was a bit of a letdown. Additionally, as someone who prioritizes clean ingredients, the inclusion of dimethicone, petrolatum, PEG, and phenoxyethanol, which are considered less desirable ingredients, was a bit disappointing. The creamy, oily texture of the product may also be unsuitable for those with oily skin types, as it could feel heavy and clogging.
TipWhen I tried mixing this cream with a face oil, they didn't seem to blend well. However, to my surprise, the absorption improved when I used the two together, though I'm not sure why. Additionally, the sunscreen I normally use is quite moisturizing and tends to leave a dewy finish, but when I applied it over this cream, it helped control the dewiness and left my skin with just the right amount of hydration. I was very satisfied with using the two products together.

For reference, I have very dry and sensitive skin. The packaging looks similar to the products my mom uses haha. The texture is very dense and thick. It's as creamy as the Cetaphil body cream. And as you can see in the photo, there are some gold dust or pearls in it. Some people said it was drying, but it was fine for my dry skin. It's moisturizing enough that I can just use the skin, essence, and cream. But it doesn't feel like it's just sitting on top - it absorbs into the skin like a night cream, so it's not sticky. The scent is similar to traditional herbal cosmetics that my mom uses^^ Overall, I'm satisfied with the feel and moisturizing power. But in the middle of winter, I think I'll need to add a few drops of oil along with this cream. Still, I'm happy with it.
ConsThe price is a bit high for a Missha product. And I think it would be better if the scent was a bit more fresh and lively.
TipRubbing it between your palms to warm it up helps it absorb faster and makes it even more moisturizing.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsSmooth application - Creamy texture that glides on smoothly after application Absorption - Despite being a cream formula, it absorbs into the skin softly and seamlessly Moisturizing power - The rich, creamy texture is much more hydrating than regular lotions or gel-type eye creams Recommended skin type - Normal to dry skin / Women in their 30s and beyond concerned about eye area wrinkles / May feel slightly oily for some men Price - Around 60,000 won Volume - 60ml, which is almost double the typical 25ml eye cream size, so you can use it generously!
ConsFor my combination skin, while it didn't feel greasy on the eye area, it did feel a bit oily on the rest of my face, and there was a slight caking effect when applying makeup in the morning I recommend using a lighter eye cream in the morning and this richer formula at night
TipFor extra dry nights, you can use this eye cream all over the face as an overnight sleeping mask, just mist lightly with a facial spray before bed

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe case has a very luxurious and royal feel. Moms will love this case. It has a rich, creamy texture, but it doesn't feel oily and instead has a refreshing quality. The texture is like spreading a soft, pillowy jelly on the skin, and it leaves the skin feeling plump and bouncy. So the moisturizing effect doesn't easily disappear. The texture may seem heavy, but it applies well to the face and absorbs reasonably well. So even when layering it, it doesn't feel too heavy.
ConsThe fragrance!! Does it really need synthetic fragrances? It would be much better without them. It's too strong. It has a herbal fragrance, but it's overpowering. The scent lingers on the hands and face for a long time. Natural fragrances would be better, but this artificial one feels a bit headache-inducing. It contains phenoxyethanol, so the ingredients aren't that great.
TipThe bouncy texture makes it good for using as an eye cream - it helps plump up the eye area. Applying it in thin layers multiple times can boost the moisturizing power and help prevent moisture loss.

ConsThe packaging... I wonder why they made it this way. Was this the best they could do, Missha? I do appreciate their efforts to make it look more premium (even the spatula is a gold spoon).
TipTo be honest, it's much better than many department store brand creams in terms of cost-effectiveness. But you should buy it during sales, as it's more expensive compared to other Missha product lines. Even with the same discount rate, it feels like you're getting more of a bargain.
