The texture is similar to softly applying thick Vaseline, giving a wonderfully silky feel. The application is smooth and pleasant.
ConsOver time, the face becomes excessively oily and the tightness is too severe. It feels more like slathering on silicone-infused Vaseline than a nourishing product. (I had two samples and was going to buy it if it was good, but I absolutely cannot... It's been a while since I've had such a bad reaction and gotten pimples.)
TipFor oily or acne-prone skin, this may not be the best choice... 🤔🤔🤔

It applies very smoothly and melts into the skin according to skin temperature, absorbing seamlessly. It provides both nourishment and hydration, leaving the skin feeling intensely moisturized and glowing. Yet, it is not at all sticky. It coats the skin with a protective layer of nourishment without feeling heavy. I used to have issues with heavy nourishing creams that would leave my skin feeling suffocated and prone to breakouts. But the Missha Chogongjin Yeonango was not like that at all!! I have an oily T-zone but dehydrated skin, so I was worried that applying a rich nourishing cream all over might cause breakouts. But when I used it sparingly, my skin looked radiant the next day, feeling nourished and soft. My oil production was still higher than usual, as expected. I don't use it daily as it feels a bit heavy, but I apply it whenever my skin looks dull and lacks luster. I especially like to use it on my eye area, laugh lines, and neck.
Cons1. The original price is high, but it's always on sale, so the cost doesn't feel too burdensome. 2. For someone like me with a combination-oily skin type, applying it thickly can lead to an excess of oil, so a light application works better. Applying too much could potentially cause breakouts.
TipThis would be great for those with oily skin who are concerned about wrinkles around the eyes, laugh lines, and neck. For those who find applying it all over the face too much, you can just target the areas prone to wrinkles for a great targeted treatment!

Lately, my skin elasticity has been decreasing, and I've noticed some enlarged pores and fine lines starting to appear, so I decided to purchase this product. However, when I actually started using it, I didn't feel like my skin was being properly hydrated. It felt very greasy, even more so than regular oils, with a thicker, heavier texture. In the evenings when I would apply it and then wake up the next day, I used to experience some tightness, but after using this product, I felt less of that tightness, and my skin became very soft and smooth. After using it consistently for about 2 weeks, I also felt like my pores looked a bit smaller.
ConsIf you have an oily skin type or your skin's oil-water balance is a bit off, using this product could potentially lead to breakouts or blemishes. Also, don't apply it before makeup, as it can cause your makeup to slide off. I personally only use this at night before bed, and I once made the mistake of applying it before going out, which caused my makeup to completely come off.

ConsAfter using the Usana serum, my skin feels greasy like I've applied too much car grease, and it's also stinging. ㅠ

As it's a single-step product, I think it might improve my skin. I've already used one bottle, and it's great. In the winter, I plan to buy the ampoule and oil together.
ConsIn the summer, it may feel a bit sticky and oily, but since I'm used to using quite emollient products, it's fine for me. However, if you don't like that, it might be better to start using it from fall.

Compared to using the more affordable line of an expensive brand, I think using the more premium line of Missha is much better.~~~
ConsIt's quite oily and moisturizing, so I mainly use it at night. During the day, it makes my makeup feel cakey and slide off, but I wouldn't call it a downside..ㅋ I use it well in the evenings.

ConsIt can be a bit oily and heavy, so it may be too much for oily skin types or for daily use on hot days.
TipMake sure to thoroughly absorb the product, otherwise your base makeup may slip. If using it as a night cream, you'll wake up with a refreshed feeling. Since this product is on the pricier side, it's best to look for discounts or 1+1 promotions at Missha sales events.

The subtle fragrance, luxurious packaging, and the hygienic pump dispenser were all nice touches ♡ The cream contains shimmering gold flakes, which made me feel like I was applying a truly high-end cream. A little goes a long way, which is great. It immediately provides abundant nourishment to dry areas, living up to its reputation as a proper nourishing cream!
ConsFirst of all, as a dry-skinned person, I found this to be an extremely oily, balm-like cream. It seems like it would be especially suited for women in their 40s and above, and those with very dry skin, but I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types ㅠㅜ If you use too much, it can feel a bit slippery and leave a residue on the hands. This is more of a nighttime cream! It's better suited for winter than summer. But as a dry-skinned person, I use it year-round :)
TipA little goes a long way. Be sure to pat it in well with your palms to help it absorb.

Carefully selected ingredients Instead of purified water, this product uses extract of Phellinus linteus mushroom in its formulation. It contains a variety of Korean herbal ingredients such as Lentinus edodes, Pueraria lobata, red ginseng, Cornus officinalis, Rehmannia glutinosa, deer antler, and ginseng, and even gold powder. The key active ingredients include niacinamide, adenosine, and ceramides. Of course, the question remains how effectively these ingredients are incorporated, but considering the price point, the inclusion of these components is quite reasonable. 5. Luxurious packaging Considering the price-to-performance ratio, the ingredients are not bad, and the premium appearance of the product also creates a positive perception and expectation for the user. Even the best product won't sell well if the design is poor. The design seems to be tailored to appeal to the parent generation. While it has the feel of a targeted product line, it could make a nice gift, especially for those who are not particularly loyal to luxury cosmetic brands. 6. Hygienic product The inclusion of a spatula and an internal cap allows for hygienic application and storage of the product.
Cons1. May not be suitable for oily, problematic skin This is ultimately a matter of individual differences, but for those like me with oily skin who already produce sufficient natural oils, using this cream may increase sebum production further, potentially leading to inflammation. Of course, this cream is not formulated for oily or problematic skin types. As a combination skin type, I've been applying only a small amount around the eye area, like an eye cream, as I'm concerned about fine lines. 2. Slightly disappointing ingredients The product contains dimethicone (a silicone ingredient) and petrolatum (a petroleum-derived ingredient like Vaseline), which can potentially clog pores. This explains the Vaseline-like texture. While the intention may have been to create an occlusive layer, I wonder if these ingredients were necessary, and if a higher concentration of natural ingredients like macadamia seed oil (which is further down the list) would have been better. 3. Overpackaging The actual amount of cream (60ml) is not particularly small, but the case is disproportionately large. The luxurious and pretty packaging is nice, but the volume feels unnecessarily bulky. 4. Can feel slightly stuffy Due to the Vaseline-like texture, the product can feel a bit stuffy, heavy, and cloying. Applying too much can also cause makeup to shift. This may not be an issue for those who only use basic skincare, but for applying before makeup, the key is to use the right amount.

Just so you know, I have a very sensitive skin type. When I first opened it, I felt a sense of courage that my mom would probably like. The scent was quite strong in one direction. Since I have such a sensitive skin, I was a bit anxious about using it, but since I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer, I decided to give it a try. The texture is like a balm and jelly hybrid - when you apply it, it feels more like a balm. I scooped out a certain amount and applied it with the warmth of my hands, and it spread well. On the first day, I used only a small amount. I applied toner, serum, and then this on top before bed. On the first day, it tingled a bit. But when I woke up and washed my face, my skin felt so soft and smooth. Anyway, based on my experience, I found that my skin texture improved. If you don't have as sensitive skin as mine, I would recommend giving it a try. I definitely felt that my skin got better.
ConsHmm... if you have sensitive skin, you might want to avoid this. As soon as I applied it, it felt incredibly oily. I don't usually use any oil-based products, so maybe that's why, but it just felt super greasy and shiny. After using it for a few days, I started getting little red spots and some bumps. I had to stop using it. I guess it really depends on the individual, but for me with my super sensitive skin, it was not a good fit.
TipRecommended for moms! My mom is using it well. Unlike me, she has a very strong skin that can handle pretty much anything. She likes the single-note scent and thinks the packaging looks luxurious. If you have sensitive skin, I'd recommend trying it out in small amounts first. But my mom, who can use pretty much anything, is really enjoying it.
