This is not a typical rose scent! It's not just a sweet or beautiful rose perfume. It has a woody and slightly spicy aroma, along with the strong scent of a rose pushing through the earth. The lingering dry-down is especially lovely. The bottle design is also clean and nice. It's not a spraying type of spray either. The recyclable packaging is a great touch. If you're looking for a floral or feminine scent from Aesop, this is definitely the one. Aesop fragrances are generally unisex, and this one is floral but still neutral, so it would be perfect for a stylish sister!

None! I love it so much. I'll be spraying it all over this fall.
Tip
I apply one spray each on my knees and wrists. Spraying it on the knees allows the scent to gently rise up.

Pros
Woody Rose This is the first Aesop fragrance, and it's surprising that it's not the most famous scent line. Many people don't use it, but the scent is really great, and a lot of people ask what this perfume is. The longevity is not bad either.
Cons
There's nothing particularly bad, but it's not the strongest in terms of longevity (the strongest longevity I've tried so far is Givenchy Ange ou Demon). It's good to use in the winter, but if you spray it in the summer or spring, it can feel a bit stuffy.

Pros
This is a very delicately and beautifully expressed woody fragrance. Among woody fragrances, there are many that have a cool and rough impression, but the Aesop Rose has a delicate and fragile impression. Contrary to its name, the rose note is not strongly felt, and the predominant notes are the damp, water-soaked grass and woody scents. It's not just the scent of wood and grass, but the scent of wet wood and grass after the rain! I found the damp feeling to be quite pronounced. So there is also a slightly cool sensation. This fragrance well captures the natural, green, herbal, and woody scent that is characteristic of Aesop. The fragrance features a harmonious blend of woody and rose notes. I've tried many Aesop perfumes, and this one is the next best after Tacit.
