This is not a typical rose scent! It's not just a sweet or beautiful rose perfume. It has a woody and slightly spicy aroma, along with the strong scent of a rose pushing through the earth. The lingering dry-down is especially lovely. The bottle design is also clean and nice. It's not a spraying type of spray either. The recyclable packaging is a great touch. If you're looking for a floral or feminine scent from Aesop, this is definitely the one. Aesop fragrances are generally unisex, and this one is floral but still neutral, so it would be perfect for a stylish sister!

There's nothing particularly bad, but it's not the strongest in terms of longevity (the strongest longevity I've tried so far is Givenchy Ange ou Demon).
It's good to use in the winter, but if you spray it in the summer or spring, it can feel a bit stuffy.

As a rose fragrance enthusiast, when I tried the Aesop Rozu, I had to focus intently to catch the fleeting rose scent.

🥀It's as if the rose scent is playing a coy game of push and pull with me, making it alluringly captivating. 
Among the deep woody notes, there is the scent of an ancient forest... the intense aromas of wood, foliage, grass, and moss are lightly touched by a rose note.

🥀I can understand Aesop's intended fragrance, but when I first encountered this scent, I wondered where the rose was and whether it truly captured the essence of rose. Yet, it provided a fresh perspective on my definition of rose fragrance.

🥀After spraying it five times, I finally grasped the appeal of this perfume and was drawn to the charm of Aesop Rozu.

🥀For me, Tesse had a predominantly woody scent, but after trying Aesop Rozu, I realized that Tesse also has a sweet woody note, and learning about Aesop Rose has opened my nose to woody and mossy fragrances.

There wasn't really anything disappointing about it.. Ah, the price is just a bit too expensive though.

The initial scent is quite strong, but as time passes, the lingering fragrance becomes incredibly pleasant. It's not the typical rose scent found in most perfumes, which I really enjoyed. This is my absolute favorite perfume!

This is a very delicately and beautifully expressed woody fragrance. Among woody fragrances, there are many that have a cool and rough impression, but the Aesop Rose has a delicate and fragile impression. Contrary to its name, the rose note is not strongly felt, and the predominant notes are the damp, water-soaked grass and woody scents. It's not just the scent of wood and grass, but the scent of wet wood and grass after the rain! I found the damp feeling to be quite pronounced. So there is also a slightly cool sensation.

This fragrance well captures the natural, green, herbal, and woody scent that is characteristic of Aesop. The rose impression is very subtle, perhaps akin to a single rose bloom in a forest on a rainy day.

Spraying this on a rainy day brings a sense of calm and serenity...It is a fragrance that is better appreciated on a cloudy day rather than in bright sunshine.

Ah, it's really unique. The more mainstream scents still feel like something I've smelled before, but the Roju is just packed with aromatic and woody notes, with maybe a drop or two of rose? So it feels completely different from a typical rose perfume. I was hesitant at first, thinking 'Nah, this isn't it,' but strangely, the more time passed, the more I found myself drawn to it uncontrollably haha. It's because the dry-down is just so addictive... Before I knew it, I was on my way to the store to buy it. It's truly bewitching.

The presence of this fragrance!!! is no joke. It's like shouting to the world 'I'm wearing this perfume!!!!!' Even just leaving the blotter on the table filled the room with the scent. Of course, that was in an enclosed space, but the projection is undeniable haha.

It's a really fitting heavy fragrance for winter. But it doesn't have a soft feel - it's dense and heavy, so it's a bit polarizing. It's the complete opposite of powdery, fresh, and light fragrances, and the likes and dislikes are quite divided (it's not a scent that everyone, young and old, would love). A lot of people also said it smells more masculine. But!!!!! the dry-down of Roju is no joke !!!! When you spray it on your skin, the dry-down is incredibly deep yet soft and comforting. The opening and dry-down are quite different, which makes it an appealing scent :)
