  The gentle ingredients make me think this product will be really beneficial for my skin

  Cons

  This is a product that can cause blemishes with continuous use... I used it without worry because of the gentle ingredients, but while it was fine for a day or two, using it for about 3 days in a row caused acne to appear... from small spots to large pimples...! My skin is thin and tends to be sensitive, so maybe it's because it's too rich... That's why I only use it once or twice a week (when I've worn heavy makeup or when my skin is particularly oily). But it's not particularly effective at dissolving excess oil, so I'm not sure about it

  Pros

  The ingredients are great! I bought it because it doesn't contain fragrances and has no irritating components.

  Cons

  The texture is too heavy, making it impossible to roll with just the oil. I have sensitive skin prone to redness and dermatitis flare-ups, and this product is so thick it's actually irritating. It's much stiffer than my usual cleansing oil, requiring many more pumps to barely manage to massage it in. When I tried to emulsify it by adding a bit of water, instead of dissolving, it clumped together and formed solid cream-like lumps. I've never experienced anything like this before, and it was really shocking. Adding more water eventually emulsified it, but I had to rub my skin so much that I think it damaged my skin barrier, and now I'm feeling signs of dermatitis again... I had high hopes for this product, but I'm deeply disappointed. Even when I try applying it to my palms first, the result is the same.

  Pros

  They say oil dissolves oil, so I decided to give it a try. I think it's quite effective. Usually, when you keep extracting whiteheads one by one, it can lead to a vicious cycle for your pores. This product seems to alleviate that concern a bit. When cleansing, gently apply it to your skin and massage lightly - you'll see those stubborn whiteheads coming out! It's also fragrance-free, which is a plus.

  Cons

  I haven't used it for a full month yet, and there was a period when I experienced a slight increase in blemishes. So I can't say for certain, but it seems like I might be getting a few more painful pimples.

  Tip

  Pump twice onto dry hands, then gently apply and massage it onto your skin. For the nose area, keep massaging as if you're trying to melt away the sebum. However, complete this process within 2 minutes and rinse off with water within 30 seconds.

  Pros

  The biggest advantage is that it contains no harmful ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind.

  Cons

  I usually use foam cleansers, but when I switched to this oil cleanser, I unfortunately developed blemishes. If you prefer that squeaky clean feeling, I'd advise against using this.

  Tip

  Since oil cleansers don't agree with my skin, I don't have any tips to share. However, if you're already used to oil cleansers, this should work fine for you.

  Pros

  Since I usually break out with cystic acne when using cleansing oils, I've been sticking to cleansing pads (like Nighting*le) for ages. But when I received a cleansing oil as a gift, I decided to give oils another shot after a long time! The ingredients seemed decent, and it removes makeup faster and easier than pads, so I had high hopes when trying it out. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent!! After washing, I wiped my face with a pad, and there was absolutely no residue left. The scent isn't bad either~!

  Cons

  But as I feared, after about a week of use, blemishes started to appear. My forehead, which never breaks out, suddenly had reddish bumps all over. I even got some big pimples on my chin and cheeks... I really wish I could find a cleansing oil that works for me. Pads are such a hassle, you know? Sigh. I think it's too much for my whole face, so I'm planning to use it just for removing point makeup.

  Tip

  I found that using a 5-layer cotton pad dampened with water and wrung out, then pumping the cleansing oil 3 times onto it, works well for removing eye and lip makeup. Don't use a dry cotton pad though! It's too harsh on the skin.

  This is a review from The Hwahae Testers ♥ My skin is currently transitioning to dry, with severe acne. I used to have bumpy, oily, dehydrated skin with serious acne, but since discovering Hwahae, I've been gradually controlling my acne and going through a transition phase. If you have acne-prone skin, you might avoid oil-based cleansers, fearing they'll worsen blemishes. However, I actually experienced breakouts from using cleansing water, and once I started using cleansing oil correctly, I noticed fewer pimples and significant reduction in sebum and whiteheads. (So don't be afraid to use cleansing oils!) As the product name suggests, apricot kernel oil is the main ingredient, along with other plant-based oils like camellia and jojoba, and various plant extracts. Though I'm not an expert and was initially concerned about caprylic and sorbitol, I trusted Hwahae's safety screening and tried it. Throughout my use, I never experienced any skin reactions and was quite satisfied. Compared to other cleansing oils, this one feels lighter, non-sticky, and refreshing. I used three pumps, and found it had excellent cleansing power, emulsified well, and effectively removed sebum. I've tried several cleansing oils, including Etude House Real Art (caused breakouts), Hera Purifying (discontinued), BRTC Orange (intense deep cleansing), Yuri Pibu Grante (good ingredients, gentle), and Sandawha Camellia Oil (good ingredients, deep cleansing). They emphasize the moisture barrier protection in their product description, and it truly did leave my skin less dry. I plan to repurchase.

  Cons

  I trusted this product because of its 100% plant-based ingredients and used it well for a week. However, just the day before yesterday, I got a bit stressed and a pimple appeared. I can't pinpoint the exact cause, and acne can appear even when using good products if something goes wrong. While I can't solely blame this cleansing oil, it left me feeling a bit disappointed.

  It's worth noting that this product is preservative-free and should be used within 6 months after opening. The company also states they are against animal testing. There's a seal on the product box opening, which means it can't be returned once opened.
