The delicate, translucent powder in a lovely pink hue has incredibly fine particles that adhere beautifully to the skin! I usually avoid powders in winter due to dryness, but Rimmel's loose powder applies smoothly without caking or clumping. It's lightweight and thin, enhancing makeup longevity without drying out the skin - that's what I love most about it. With mask-wearing, powder has become essential after foundation or cushion base, and this one creates a silky, matte finish without dehydrating the skin. It's easy to apply with a puff, leaving no patchiness. As it's a loose powder, the packaging isn't ideal for on-the-go use. Due to its fine texture, it can sometimes create a bit of excess when dispensed. The powder dispenser opening is quite large, so I've only peeled off about 1/3 of the sticker. This makes it easier to control the amount and more convenient to use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 21, 2020
The beige-colored powder is great whether you're wearing makeup or not! Unlike white powder, it doesn't make your complexion look unnatural. I find it especially useful when I'm not wearing makeup, which is most of the time for me. I have combination dehydrated skin and I'm sensitive to heat, plus with wearing masks... powder is a must in this weather. You know how some powders can make your skin feel super dry if you're not careful? This one doesn't - it's just right, leaving your skin feeling soft without drying it out. What's more, I love that the large size means a bigger puff too - it just feels luxurious! The staying power is excellent, and it doesn't look cakey or wear off quickly as time passes. It's a winner in my book! The scent is slightly reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics - it smells like my mom's powder! I'm mentioning this because it might be a matter of personal preference. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSep 16, 2020
Just a few years ago, Rimmel was only available through direct purchase from the US, but now we have Rimmel Korea too! After trying it, I found the powder particles are very fine and there's a generous amount, so it should last a while. As expected from a base makeup expert, it doesn't disappoint. Personally, I think I'll be using this for quite some time. However, because the particles are so fine, even a small amount quickly creates a matte finish, so controlling the quantity is key. It seems to mattify well, so you'll definitely need to be careful with how much you apply. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2020
The powder has such fine particles that it applies smoothly without caking and seems to adhere well to the skin! I have oily skin, so usually my makeup starts to get greasy after a short while, but finishing with this loose powder definitely keeps things matte - I'm so satisfied! Even after quite some time, it doesn't break down, which is really awesome. These days with COVID, we're wearing masks for long periods, and my base makeup used to transfer a lot onto the mask. But after finishing with this powder, the transfer has noticeably decreased! When I first opened the lid and then the product cap, it was a disaster... haha. The powder flew everywhere! This was my mistake, but it would be nice if there were instructions included. The amount of powder that went to waste was such a shame. For areas that touch the mask, pat on an extra layer! It definitely reduces transfer significantly when you pat it on generously! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 17, 2020
In summer, when my skin gets oilier, foundation tends to break down easily. But with Rimmel powder, the fine particles don't clump together, and it applies smoothly, giving a soft, matte finish - a huge plus. I didn't feel any dryness at all, and the staying power was excellent. It works hard to keep my complexion looking fresh all day. I find it more comfortable to use a brush rather than the powder puff. The ingredients don't seem to be the best quality. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinAug 17, 2020
Due to wearing masks these days, I always use a finishing powder, and Rimmel's powder had an excellent finish. After trying it, I understood why 'silky' is in the name. The particles are so fine that there's no patchiness, and even a small amount creates a smooth, matte skin! Also, while other powders can look heavy and obvious, this product isn't overwhelming and completes the makeup naturally. I usually prefer applying powder with a brush, and with this product too, I found using a brush gave a better result than the included puff. It's perfect for use right now, but I don't think it would be too matte even in fall or winter! The puff wasn't as rough on my sensitive skin as I expected, but it can be a bit tricky to control the amount of powder when using it, which might be disappointing for some. Also, as I have sensitive skin, I'm quite particular about ingredients. While I had some reservations about the formula, I'm glad I was able to use it without any issues during the period I tried it! True to its name, this powder seems to create a silky, glowing makeup finish. I especially liked that it achieves this effect with just a small amount. However, those with sensitive skin might want to consider it carefully due to the ingredients. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJun 30, 2020
The fine particles glide smoothly over the skin, creating a clean and matte finish without any clumping! I was most impressed by its long-lasting power, which doesn't settle into pores or emphasize wrinkles even after hours of wear. Plus, it fills in pores and uneven texture, adding a blurring effect that makes me think I'll be using this down to the last speck this summer! I didn't experience any dryness, and I love the lightweight feel, noticeable skin texture improvement, and generous amount of product. The puff was slightly disappointing, but since I usually use a brush to apply loose powder thinly, it wasn't a major drawback! Lightly tap some powder into the lid, then roll your brush in it to thoroughly coat the bristles. Tap off the excess in the lid, then roll the brush over the powder again and tap it in the air. After that, gently pat it onto your skin for an even, thin application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJun 24, 2020
- The powder-type formula applies more thinly than a compact and has incredibly fine particles. Just rubbing it with your fingers fills in fingerprints, creating a smooth finish. - The peach-toned color doesn't look ashy, allowing for a natural complexion. - Thanks to its fine particles, it applies smoothly while keeping the skin matte. - As described, it truly creates a beautiful complexion without settling into texture or pores, resulting in a smooth finish. It feels silky on the skin - matte but not overly dry. - A key advantage is that it doesn't leave a too-dry finish, unlike many powders. - Personal preference, but when applied with a brush, it makes the skin look absolutely stunning. - The puff wasn't to my liking. It felt rough when patting on the face, and most importantly, it seemed to diminish the advantages of the ultra-fine powder particles. - Like all powder products, this isn't suitable for on-the-go use. If you carry it around, it will puff, explode, and make a mess. Be careful not to tip it over. - The ingredients list is a bit disappointing... - For those who love a natural, silky complexion, try applying it with a brush!! It truly makes your skin look incredibly beautiful. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 22, 2020
Unlike other powder products that can be extremely drying, this one keeps skin feeling fresh without any dryness! Being more accustomed to cushion foundations, I'm not quite used to loose powder formulas. It works great when applied all over the face as the final step in your makeup routine!
