The powder particles are definitely fine. While there are many reasons to use powder, it's usually for: 1. Setting makeup and controlling oil, or 2. Smoothing skin texture and concealing pores. Typically, it's one or both of these, right? This product excels at the second point, but unfortunately falls short on the first... First off, when you apply powder, you expect a certain dry, matte feeling. But this one feels almost damp, far from that desired effect. It's as if the powder is absorbing into my skin rather than sitting on top, which affects its longevity. Even with my dry skin, I felt the makeup didn't set well. I imagine those with oily skin might be even less satisfied. It probably won't be my go-to in summer. I'd recommend buying this only if you're looking for something to smooth out your complexion as a finishing touch. Oh, and consider the included puff more like a lid than an applicator. - sn*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 24, 2021
The powder particles are fine, the color is beautiful, and it seems to apply comfortably on the skin! It's difficult to control the amount, and the included puff feels cheap. I recommend using a separate brush instead. - yj****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 12, 2021
■Texture It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin, as if you're not wearing anything at all. The texture is soft, smooth, and refined. ■Particles The particles in this powder are out of this world - simply amazing! ■Skin Appearance It makes your skin texture look incredibly smooth and flawless. ■Pores It fills in fine pores, creating a beautiful blurred effect. ■Caking Unlike the pressed powder from the same brand that can cake up if your skincare is insufficient or your skin condition isn't great, this one doesn't cake at all. It's unbelievable how it manages this! ■Longevity Considering the current situation and summer heat, I tested it after being out for 4-5 hours in the scorching sun. Even though my skin condition wasn't great, the powder maintained well, and there was barely any visible flaking around acne spots! ■Clumping No matter how you apply it, it absolutely doesn't clump! ■Deep Dryness I've tried many powders that cause deep dryness, but this one doesn't at all. ■Puff The puff feels cheap, so I recommend replacing it with a velour puff. ■Scent It has an old-fashioned cosmetic smell. Even those with sensitive noses might notice it, but it's not overpowering. ■Oil Control This powder doesn't aggressively absorb oil, so those with very oily or oily skin might notice some shine coming through after a while. ●Recommended Skin Types Combination dehydrated skin, Dry skin ●Perfect Tool Combinations Brush, Flocking puff (highly recommend the one from fmgt★) - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 5, 2021
Complexion correction It gives a feeling of evening out the skin tone. Perhaps because it's not a completely transparent powder, it seems to create a more beautiful base. Fine particles The particles are fine, so it smoothly covers pores without causing any blemishes. Controls oiliness well I disliked powders that made my skin look too dry, but this powder creates beautiful skin if applied well with the right amount. Some powders can make dead skin cells noticeable when applied to very dry skin, but this one doesn't, which is great. The built-in puff feels somewhat pointless, as if they're not sure why they included it It seems like you shouldn't remove all the stickers. If you put it in your makeup pouch, it might get messy. - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2021
Rimmel's Match Perfection Silky Loose Face Powder is a loose powder that creates a smooth, fresh, and velvety complexion. It controls excess oil and shine, ensuring your base makeup stays flawless for hours. The fine, silky powder particles blend seamlessly, allowing for multiple applications without caking. It feels light and comfortable on the skin, never heavy or suffocating. This powder fills in pores and fine lines, creating an even skin texture. It leaves your skin soft and matte without drying it out. I'd even recommend this to those who usually avoid powders! It's really disappointing that there are four potentially concerning ingredients in the formula. - to**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 31, 2020
The delicate, translucent powder in a lovely pink hue has incredibly fine particles that adhere beautifully to the skin! I usually avoid powders in winter due to dryness, but Rimmel's loose powder applies smoothly without caking or clumping. It's lightweight and thin, enhancing makeup longevity without drying out the skin - that's what I love most about it. With mask-wearing, powder has become essential after foundation or cushion base, and this one creates a silky, matte finish without dehydrating the skin. It's easy to apply with a puff, leaving no patchiness. As it's a loose powder, the packaging isn't ideal for on-the-go use. Due to its fine texture, it can sometimes create a bit of excess when dispensed. The powder dispenser opening is quite large, so I've only peeled off about 1/3 of the sticker. This makes it easier to control the amount and more convenient to use. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2020
This powder comes in a larger container with more product compared to other loose powders! Most importantly, the powder itself is incredibly fine! It's probably the finest powder I've ever used. The particles are so small, which makes it apply even more smoothly! The only downside is that when opening it, there's no tab to grip and pull the protective film, so some powder spilled out and there was a lot of excess. That was a bit disappointing. I recommend tapping it gently and opening it carefully, as it might spill. - ji********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 25, 2020
The loose powder particles are so fine! I was already very satisfied with another brand's translucent powder, but I recently received this one from Instagram and was shocked at how much finer it was than what I was using before. The soft peach-pink powder gives a subtle brightening effect to the complexion, and it's incredibly moisturizing for a powder, making it perfect for winter! What really surprised me was that the particles are as fine as Laura Mercier's powder. When I applied it around my mouth, I just roughly dabbed it on with my fingers, but it blended seamlessly without any clumping, and didn't settle into my smile lines at all. The fine texture fills in pores and uneven texture well. The small particles feel moisturizing and light on the skin, without any heaviness. I can't believe this quality at this price point... I've been meaning to buy Laura Mercier's Translucent Powder, but it's a steady seller that rarely goes on sale, and I'd need to buy an expensive brush too, so I've been putting it off. This one is translucent, so it doesn't leave marks on masks, and it's more hydrating, so maybe this is the one for this winter? It's Rimmel, folks. Rimmel. Hop on this train for winter, wink wink. (Rimmel, please release colored loose powders too.) It's not a major flaw, but the powder container has very sharp, angular plastic edges, so you need to be careful when opening and closing the lid to avoid spilling powder everywhere. But this is somewhat common with loose powders, so it's manageable. Because it's more moisturizing than other powders, it's slightly less effective at maintaining makeup and preventing it from breaking down. - gg*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 21, 2020
The beige-colored powder is great whether you're wearing makeup or not! Unlike white powder, it doesn't make your complexion look unnatural. I find it especially useful when I'm not wearing makeup, which is most of the time for me. I have combination dehydrated skin and I'm sensitive to heat, plus with wearing masks... powder is a must in this weather. You know how some powders can make your skin feel super dry if you're not careful? This one doesn't - it's just right, leaving your skin feeling soft without drying it out. What's more, I love that the large size means a bigger puff too - it just feels luxurious! The staying power is excellent, and it doesn't look cakey or wear off quickly as time passes. It's a winner in my book! The scent is slightly reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics - it smells like my mom's powder! I'm mentioning this because it might be a matter of personal preference. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2020
The generous amount is great, and it's not completely colorless - it gives about a half-shade brightening effect. It makes your skin look radiant while feeling incredibly lightweight on application! There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to pick something, maybe the packaging could be a bit sturdier? For those with combination dehydrated skin, you absolutely must try this. It's seriously amazing!
