ConsIn my case, since I didn't expect perfect cleansing power from this product, I was actually satisfied that it could cleanse gently multiple times without irritation:) However, those who want their heavy makeup like eyeliner and mascara to be completely removed may find it lacking.

I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and my skin becomes even drier as winter approaches..ㅠㅠ The other cleanser I used before left a slight tightening feeling after cleansing, but the Laneige cleanser has no tightness at all ㅎㅎ The formula is similar to a regular cream cleanser, but it's in a pump bottle, so it's easy to use👍 I'm still using it, but the Laneige cream skin is a perfect fit for my skin personally, and I think I'll continue using this cleanser as well ㅎㅎ Laneige forever😘
ConsI wanted to give a low rating, but the only disappointing point is that the cleansing power is a bit weak ㅠㅠ It cleanses simple sunscreen or BB cream just fine, but for full makeup, you really need to use a dedicated makeup remover and cleanse it first before using this cleanser. Personally, I don't do full makeup very often, so I don't have a dedicated makeup remover, and on the days I do full makeup, the residue is quite noticeable if I don't use my regular oil cleanser...ㅎㅎ That's the only thing I'm a bit disappointed about, so I took off one star!

The pump-type container is convenient and hygienic! 2. Those who dislike an oily finish will likely enjoy this. 3. It's gentle, so I used it with peace of mind. 4. Personally, I found it great to use on days when I didn't wear makeup.
Cons1. Disappointing cleansing power (I'll attach a photo) I apply foundation, eyebrows, eyeshadow, contouring, etc., except for mascara and eyeliner. It doesn't remove well ㅜㅜ Even when I rubbed it hard with my hands, it still didn't come off very well... I can already tell the eyeliner and mascara won't come off easily. 2. The price-to-performance ratio is too expensive 3. Texture Personally, I prefer something a bit oily rather than completely watery, so the texture wasn't great for me ㅜㅜ Also, it was so watery that, as mentioned in the usage instructions, 3-4 pumps couldn't cover my entire face.
TipUsing it with a cotton pad makes it more convenient and significantly improves the cleansing power.

I even have some dehydration! Since my skin is so sensitive, it gets red and obvious right away if a product doesn't agree with me. But this one is a mild 5.5 pH, so it's really gentle. That's a plus. It has a slightly runny texture, and after cleansing, my skin feels a bit... coated? Not the most comfortable finish, but since I always double cleanse anyway, it's not a big deal. The main benefit seems to be that it gently cleanses the skin. I think this would be great for someone who likes a light makeup look.
ConsI'm a woman with sensitive, acne-prone skin, so my makeup and concealer tend to get quite heavy. Cleansing power: Many reviews say the cleansing power is great, but for me, it's way too weak. I'm not even wearing that much makeup, just regular concealer, but it doesn't remove it all. After cleansing, there's still concealer residue left on the surface that I have to rub off. For people with heavier makeup or frequent concealer use like me, this is not recommended. The cleansing power is just too weak. Oil control: I have oily t-zone and dehydrated skin, so oil control is key for me. But this didn't seem to remove any oil at all. If anything, it left my skin feeling a bit more congested, and I even got a couple new breakouts. Finish: I didn't like the slightly 'coated' feeling it left on my skin. Even though it's supposed to be gentle, it just didn't mesh well with my skin type. Overall, I don't think I'll be repurchasing this product. It's just not a good fit for my needs.
TipSince it's a waterless formula, you can just gently massage it on with clean hands. But honestly, I couldn't find any real tips or tricks with this product. It's just... gentle. That's about it.

During this transitional weather, when my skin tends to be rough and sensitive, this gentle and moisturizing cleanser has been great. 👍Low Irritation I generally don't prefer cleansing pads or tissues as they can be irritating to my skin. For the same reason, cleansing waters with cotton pads can sometimes be irritating as well. However, this Laneige cleanser is less irritating and cleanses gently without being too oily. 👍Convenience Cleansing oils usually require an emulsification process to cleanse effectively, but this one can be cleansed without that intermediate step! That was my favorite part.🤤
Cons👎Price The full-size product price is not as affordable as I had hoped. I'll need to wait for a sale period to purchase it. 👎Not for Makeup For eye or lip makeup, a dedicated makeup remover cleanser is still needed. This alone won't remove them completely.
TipEven for a low-irritation cleanser, it's best to scoop out a generous amount and gently massage it in for the best results.👍👍👍
