Despite being mildly acidic, it has decent cleansing effectiveness. I appreciated that there was no deep dryness after washing my face.
ConsThe price is a bit steep, which is disappointing. The watery consistency means you need to pump out quite a bit, so it seems like it will run out quickly. While massaging it for cleansing, it feels like it might absorb too fast.
TipGiven its mild acidity, on days when I wear makeup, following up with a bubble cleanser for a second cleanse seems to provide more thorough cleansing while reducing the chance of deep dryness.

While it didn't remove stubborn products like mascara very well, it effectively removed most other cosmetics. Being a low pH cleanser, it's been amazing for my skin's health too!
ConsThere weren't many downsides, but if I had to pick one, it would be the cleansing effectiveness. Compared to other oil cleansers, its cleansing power was a bit lacking.

With all ingredients rated EWG Green, it's a gentle and skin-friendly cleanser that even those with sensitive skin can use with confidence! I have sensitive skin, but after cleansing, I experienced no tightness, itching, or tingling at all. The pump-type packaging allows for hygienic use, and its emulsion-like, moisturizing texture not only provides hydration to skin dried out by autumn or winter winds but also effectively removes impurities! Summary: I was extremely satisfied with the Laneige Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser as it thoroughly cleansed without the need for repeated application or double cleansing! It didn't cause any redness, and true to its high-moisture claims, it left my skin feeling hydrated, so I didn't experience any dryness after washing. Most importantly, despite being an oil cleanser, it didn't leave any slippery residue after rinsing, which I loved! I'm delighted to have discovered such a great product through The Hwahae Testers.
ConsOne downside is that it doesn't completely remove some long-lasting tints or mascara, so I recommend using a separate mascara remover and lip remover after cleansing for those products!

This cleanser has a low pH and doesn't lather much when used. Overall, it removed makeup quite well. It felt like an emulsion during cleansing and caused virtually no irritation.
ConsThis product feels like a pre-cleanse step before using a foam cleanser. Therefore, I recommend following up with a foam cleanser after using this product.

I even have deep dryness! My skin is so sensitive that if a product doesn't suit me, it immediately turns red and shows. However, this product has a pH of 5.5, making it quite gentle, which I really appreciate. It has a slightly runny texture, and after cleansing, rather than feeling soft, it leaves a slight film-like sensation. I wasn't too fond of the finish, but since I always do a second cleanse anyway, it wasn't a big deal. The main advantage seems to be how gentle it is on the skin. I think this would be perfect for those who wear light makeup.
ConsAs someone with sensitive skin prone to blemishes, I often have to wear heavier makeup and concealer. Cleansing Effectiveness: Despite many reviews praising its cleansing power, I found it extremely weak. It's not like I'm wearing stage makeup or anything! The concealer wouldn't come off completely, leaving residue on the surface like dirt. When I rubbed it, I realized it was leftover concealer. I really can't recommend this for those who wear heavy base makeup or use concealer frequently like me. The cleansing power is just too weak. Oil Control: I have combination dehydrated skin, so oil control is crucial for me. This cleanser didn't remove any excess oil at all. I usually use cleansing to unclog my pores, but after using this, my pores remained clogged and I even developed a couple more blemishes. After-feel: I didn't like the film-like feeling it left on my skin. No matter how gentle it claims to be, it doesn't seem to suit my skin type at all. I don't think I'll be purchasing this product again.
TipSince it doesn't require water, you can just massage it in with clean hands. To be honest, I couldn't find any special tips for this product, which is disappointing. The only thing I can say is that it's gentle... just gentle.

Gentleness Compared to other cleansing products, this felt less irritating to the skin! Perhaps because it's slightly acidic, it suited my sensitive skin well. 2. Oiliness To be honest, there was still a slight feeling of residue typical of oil cleansers. However, it was noticeably less compared to other cleansing oil products. This was observed when used alone, and I didn't notice any discomfort during my regular cleansing routine. 3. Hydration The best part was the hydration. I used to experience deep dryness after cleansing, but after using this product, I didn't feel that post-cleanse tightness. As someone with extremely dry skin, I usually had to rush to apply skincare after cleansing, but with this product, my skin retained moisture even after patting dry. 4. Immediate Cleansing Power Usually, with cleansing oils, you have to wait for the makeup to dissolve, which can be inconvenient. However, this product seemed to remove makeup instantly.
Cons1. Scent Honestly, I'm not a fan of coconut scent, and this product does have a coconut fragrance. The good news is that the scent is subtle and not overpowering. It might not suit those with extremely sensitive noses, but it wasn't bothersome for me.
Tip☞ When used alone as a cleansing product, like cleansing oil or natural soap, this product removed makeup effectively without leaving residue. This combination might work well for those with even drier skin than mine.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsI'm writing this review as a lucky winner of The Hwahae Testers program! It's my first time being selected and I'm not great at writing reviews, so I'll just share my thoughts as they come to me! - I was worried about its cleansing effectiveness since it has a pH of 5.5 and is slightly acidic, but I was surprised by how well it removed my makeup! - True to its name, the texture is milky and flows easily. It has a fluid consistency without any stickiness. - As someone with oily skin, I'm not a fan of sticky oil formulas, but this one left my skin feeling fresh after cleansing, which I really liked.
Cons- I've heard that cleansing oils are effective for removing blackheads, but I don't think this one is. - The product description claimed it helps with dead skin cells, but I didn't see any improvement in that area. - Because it's so fluid, it tends to drip a lot during cleansing. - The price point is a bit high, making it a bit of a stretch for a student like me.
TipI'd recommend this to anyone who doesn't like greasy oil formulas! It cleanses effectively while leaving your skin feeling fresh.

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThis is a review from The Hwahae Testers: 1. Hygiene - The packaging container and pump come separately, and you can twist the pump to open and lock it, which was very hygienic! 2. Moisturizing - Being a cream, it left my skin feeling nicely hydrated. (I think it would be even better for those with dry skin!) 3. Slightly acidic - With a pH of 5.5, it seems less irritating, and I didn't get any small blemishes or bumps on my super sensitive skin. 4. Fresh feeling - Unlike cleansing oils, there's no greasy residue, and you don't need to emulsify it, which I really appreciated.
Cons- To be honest, while I may have had high expectations, I wasn't too satisfied with its ability to remove dead skin cells or excess sebum. (I used it for a week and didn't notice much difference) - I discovered this product through The Hwahae Testers, but when I saw the retail price, I was shocked. It seems too expensive for the amount you get. (The texture is also very watery, so it runs out quickly) - It's not effective enough on its own to remove lip and eye makeup without a separate makeup remover.
TipOn days when I wore lip and eye makeup, I followed a routine of makeup remover, milk oil cleanser, then foam cleanser. For days with natural makeup, I just used the milk oil cleanser followed by foam cleanser.

It also caused minimal skin tightness. If the price isn't an issue for you and you prefer a truly non-irritating cleanser, I highly recommend this! I'd love to keep using it if it were more affordable. 100% would repurchase! Note: If you prefer a cleanser that gives you that refreshing clean feeling, I'd suggest double cleansing or trying a different product. Usage period: I started using the product I received from The Hwahae Testers event on November 7th evening, and I'm writing this review on November 11th (after 5 days of use). I'll write an honest review based on my experience! Please compare it to your skin type and consider your personal characteristics. For those in a hurry, there's a summary at the top, but I've detailed all my thoughts below. Cleansing effectiveness: Before applying for the event, I noticed it was pH 5.5 mildly acidic. As someone with sensitive and dry skin, I prefer mild acidic cleansers, but I wondered if it would cleanse well. On first use, it removed makeup effectively. Except for long-lasting lip tints, it cleaned off my usual eyeliner, eyebrow product, and stick foundation almost completely. Texture and feel: It truly feels like cleansing with milk. There's absolutely no irritation, and it's lightweight and gentle, which I loved. Despite being an oil cleanser, it doesn't feel slippery. Combining its feel and cleansing power, it seems to be a non-irritating yet effective cleanser. Skin feel: As I have dry skin, I usually experience deep dryness after cleansing, but this product caused less of that feeling. Milk oil cleanser: It's great that this oil cleanser can be used without emulsification! It doesn't have that slippery oil feeling. Texture: The texture is fluid but feels like an emulsion. I've attached a photo. Although it flows, it's less runny than typical oil cleansers, which is nice. Packaging: As you can see in the attached photo, it comes with a pump and has a locking mechanism. There's no leakage of the contents.
ConsPrice: Although I got to use it through The Hwahae Testers event, I found it's not as affordable as I thought. It might be best to purchase during a sale.

I used to always use cleansing water with cotton pads, which often left my face red after cleansing. But this milk oil cleanser is definitely gentler - I could cleanse my skin so~ft~ly without any irritation. I thought, 'It's an oil, so won't it be super greasy?' But it's actually not as oily as I expected. The pump-type bottle makes it more convenient to use! It feels like cleansing with an emulsion, and I really like the texture. It's perfect for removing any remaining residue after using a lip and eye remover for eye makeup. Highly recommended for those with dry skin!
ConsIf used incorrectly, it can cause major blemishes, though I haven't experienced any issues yet. If I had to pick something negative, it would be the price... 32,000 won for 200ml seems a bit steep. Especially for cleansers, which we tend to use generously. With a price like this, I'll have to become quite frugal...
TipThis product might not work as well on heavily pigmented or waterproof products, so for those areas, gently use a separate remover first, then use this product to cleanse the remaining residue.
