At first, I thought the cleansing effectiveness might be poor, but after pumping 4-5 times and gently massaging, it removes all foundation, even from between the pores. If it starts to feel a bit dry, I just pump another 4-5 times and massage again. It's convenient as it doesn't require emulsification. The name 'oil' is a bit misleading - it's more like a cleansing cream.
ConsYou'll need a separate remover for point makeup (lips/eyes). You have to use quite a lot at once, so it might run out quickly.
TipIt's best to use about 10 pumps in total, divided into several applications. I massaged for over a minute. This way, it cleanses the skin effectively.

I have combination dehydrated skin that becomes even drier as winter approaches. With my previous cleanser, I'd feel a slight tightness after washing, but with this Laneige cleanser, there's absolutely no feeling of deep dryness. The texture is similar to typical cream cleansers, but it comes in a pump bottle which makes it super convenient to use. I'm already using it, and just like how the Laneige Cream Skin is perfect for my skin, I think I'll be sticking with this cleanser too. Laneige for the win!
ConsI wanted to give it five stars, but there's one small drawback - its cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak. It easily removes light makeup like sunscreen or BB cream, but for full makeup, you definitely need to use a dedicated makeup remover first. I don't usually wear heavy makeup, so I don't have a specific remover. On days when I do wear a full face, if I don't use my regular oil cleanser first, quite a bit of residue remains. That's the only slight disappointment, which is why I deducted one star!

Ingredients As someone with super sensitive skin, I loved that this didn't cause any irritation! I've tried most products claiming to be non-irritating, but this one was the gentlest and mildest of them all! 2. Usage Personally, I found it more convenient to use than cleansing oils! 3. Hydration With my dry skin, I often experience deep dryness right after using other cleansing products. However, this product left my skin feeling hydrated and not dry at all after use, which I really appreciated!
Cons1. Cleansing effectiveness It didn't thoroughly remove even just base makeup... When I tried cleansing my lips without using a separate lip and eye remover, it wasn't much different from just using water. For full makeup, a second cleanse seems necessary! However, I'd recommend it for those who usually only wear sunscreen! 2. Texture The milk-like texture is unique to this product. While it felt nicely hydrating when used as a toner, as a cleanser it felt too thin. I couldn't tell if it was actually cleansing or not, and it didn't leave me with that refreshed feeling after washing.
TipThis product might be a bit disappointing for those who prioritize cleansing effectiveness or want that refreshed feeling after washing. However, I'd recommend it to those looking for a hydrating and gentle cleansing product!

First off, the product packaging was excellent. After using it, my skin didn't feel tight at all - instead, it felt moisturized with a nice glow. I could actually see that my blackheads had diminished. The effects are simply amazing! On the second day, once I figured out the proper way to use it, the results were twice as good. After using it, my face looked brighter, and I just felt great overall. You know what I mean? The fact that it also exfoliates means I don't need a separate product for dead skin cells removal, which is super convenient.
ConsThe scent is close to unscented, with a slight milky smell. If you're sensitive to fragrances, this might not be for you. Unfortunately, I didn't notice any improvement in blemishes or other skin issues after use. It's also quite runny, which means it keeps dripping down during cleansing.
TipFor better cleansing effectiveness, try massaging it gently into your skin while cleansing!

The gentle, high-quality ingredients seem to prevent any blemishes after use. - The water-like texture spreads smoothly on the face when cleansing, without any drag or resistance. - It has good cleansing effectiveness, somewhat helping with blackheads and sebum removal. No need for emulsification, which makes it convenient. - Unlike other cleansing oils, it doesn't leave a greasy feeling, making skin feel fresh. - After cleansing, there's hardly any dryness, and my skin feels incredibly soft. - The absence of fragrance makes it comfortable to use. - The container has a twist-pump design, allowing for hygienic storage.
ConsThe price seems a bit high for the amount you get. It lacks sufficient cleansing power to remove makeup on its own.
TipIt's great for a gentle morning cleanse, leaving your face soft and refreshed. It's suitable as a first step before using a cleansing foam.

I'm not entirely sure how to write it, but I've given it my best shot! Before diving into the review, let me share my makeup and cleansing routine for reference. Not sure if it's necessary, but here goes! Around 8:30 AM, I apply my skincare, followed by a brightening moisturizer. Occasionally, I use a BBIA concealer, then add blush, eyebrow product, Etude House eyeshadow and shimmer, and finish with a lip tint. Sometimes I draw eyeliner using a Lilybyred product. For cleansing, I've been using an old, discontinued Senka cleansing oil to manage my blackheads. I only use the oil on my nose and clean the rest of my face with Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Water on a cotton pad. My skin type is between dry and normal, and it's not particularly sensitive. I do have some blackheads and a couple of small bumps near my eyes. Day 1: I removed my makeup around 10:15 PM. With slightly damp hands, I applied two pumps of the product to my dry, made-up face and massaged it for about 1-1.5 minutes. The texture was very watery! (This was my first time using a cleansing milk, so I read the instructions carefully, but they weren't very detailed. I just used it like I would a cleansing oil! However, two pumps weren't quite enough for a smooth face massage.) I'd heard that cleansing milk was effective for blackhead removal, so I focused on my nose area, but the Laneige product doesn't seem to have much effect on blackheads. The scent was slightly yogurt-like? A mild, milky fragrance? It had a very faint, soft baby-like smell... I liked it! It's so convenient that you don't need to emulsify it. The cleansing effectiveness is incredible! Earlier I mentioned massaging for about a minute, but it was actually too short because it cleansed so quickly that I could barely see if all my makeup was removed! I have very sensitive eyes, and even the famously gentle Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Water stings a bit if it gets in my eyes. But this product is amazing - I could massage around my eyes without any stinging at all! It seems super gentle. After rinsing more than 10 times, my skin felt incredibly fresh. I have dry to normal skin, but this left my skin feeling so moisturized that I felt like I could skip my emulsion without my skin feeling tight! Usually, after using cleansing oil followed by cleansing water, my skin feels a bit dry, but with this, there's no dryness at all! There was a bit of shimmer left on my aegyo-sal (under-eye fat pads), but I always have some residual shimmer no matter what I use. I washed again with Etude Soon Jung Cleansing Foam, but some still remained, so I carefully wiped it off with cleansing water on a cotton pad. Day 2: I didn't wear heavy makeup today! Yesterday I did a second cleanse with foam cleanser, but today I used this product alone, applying four pumps and massaging as I did yesterday. It felt slightly too much, and I think three pumps would be perfect. I really respect that it doesn't sting at all even if it gets in your eyes. While removing my eyeliner, a bit got in, and I only felt it enter without any stinging or irritation. I think I'll switch to this product. Day 3: I was too tired today, so I didn't even massage for a full minute, but the cleansing effectiveness remained unchanged. If I keep writing this review, I'll just keep saying good things, so I'll end it here. It might be my imagination, but it feels like my small bumps have reduced a bit. However, it really has no effect on blackheads. I recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle cleanser with great cleansing power!
ConsPlease refer to the details above, as I've covered everything there!

It's so much better than cleansing milk emulsions in terms of cleansing effectiveness. It's truly convenient since it doesn't require emulsification. I love that it's fragrance-free, and my skin feels incredibly hydrated even after rinsing. Highly recommended for those with dry skin!
ConsThe price feels a bit steep, so I'll wait for a sale to purchase it.
