I use this whenever my skin acts up, and it's gentle and effective It's a bit pricey for a toner, but it's decent as a basic skincare item - ys******Oily SkinRecommendedApr 4, 2025
It's really great for applying after washing your face. You can put it on while your skin is still damp. The only slight downside is the price. It would be nice if they did more promotions or events to spread the word. - sk********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I didn't experience much irritation, and it's quite suitable for everyday use. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free. It's neither great nor terrible... I can't say I noticed any significant benefits. I'm content with having tried it once, but that's about it. - sk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
This is my favorite toner lately. When I use this product, I notice a significant reduction in skin tightness. As someone with extremely dry skin, I often feel dehydrated as time passes, but this product is truly satisfying. The downsides are the price and the lid. Sometimes I get a bit frustrated when closing the lid after use. Still, I think it's probably better than plastic! - yy********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 28, 2025
This toner offers more hydration than expected, making it perfect for those with dry skin to use lightly both morning and night The bottle is heavier and larger than anticipated, so be careful not to drop it as it could be a disaster - mi*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 24, 2025
It's not just watery, but when you pat it on, your skin feels firm and supple. Although the glass bottle cap is a bit inconvenient, I've been using it in a foam dispenser, and it feels like it absorbs more thoroughly, like a lightweight serum. The application sensation is noticeable too. The scent, reminiscent of leaves or tea leaves, helps you relax. It seems like a functional toner focused on balancing the skin's pH. I really love it! The glass lid was probably inconvenient to open and close, which was disappointing. Also, the glass bottle can be risky to handle. I've been using it as a foam toner by putting it in a foam dispenser. It seems to absorb even more thoroughly, and I really enjoyed it. - qo*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsMar 18, 2025
Although it has a water-like consistency, the product has a slight weight to it and feels smooth on the skin. When the brand Tone28 first came out, I had some expectations, but in the end, it turned out to be just another ordinary toner. - er*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 31, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm always nervous about trying new products. But I decided to give this a go after recommendations from friends! It's gentle, almost fragrance-free, and after using about half the jar, I've noticed my previously dry skin feels less parched. The container is a bit tricky to open and close. Also, after some time, something keeps coming off the metal part of the lid, which is quite bothersome. - wz********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 22, 2025
Used from January 15th to 22nd, 2025 I discovered this toner while searching for a new one after finishing my previous bottle. When using toners, I focus on two main factors (for oily skin): 1. Does it absorb quickly? 2. Does it feel light on the skin after application? I believe many male users would agree with these priorities. We might not be as meticulous as some of our female counterparts, but if a toner fulfills these two roles, it's nailing the basics! I've been using this for a week, both before bed and before going out. The instructions allow for use right after cleansing or like other toners, so I tried both (following the directions, as I'm not an expert!). When used before bed after cleansing, it spread easily with a light, refreshing feel. Personally, I prefer toners without color or strong scents, and I enjoyed the subtle woody fragrance of this one! The website describes it as hibiscus scented, but as a flower novice, I'd say it's like the scent of a winter breeze passing over snow-covered hinoki branches in a hot spring. It's brief but charming, lasting only about 2 seconds. Fans of Tom Ford Oud Wood or Aesop Tacit might appreciate this scent. It absorbs quickly and maintains hydration well until the next moisturizing step. Approved! I also tried it before going out. For important occasions, I do basic makeup (foundation and eyebrows) as a courtesy. The toner helped my foundation spread evenly without caking, and my eyebrows didn't smudge! (Used with HERA BLACK CUSHION FOUNDATION 23N1 and MAC eyebrow styler in Stud) The texture isn't sticky, as shown in the photo. Like many men, I felt it was too precious to slather on, so I applied it bit by bit. It absorbed quickly! The photo shows the toner 3 seconds after application. Compared to previous toners: 1. Hada Labo Gokujyun: This popular toner has a slightly cloudy color and feels like it penetrates deeply, like a sprinter. Tone 28 seems to protect the skin faster than Hada Labo. 2. AHC HOMME 5-solution toner: This one had good application and solid basics, but I wasn't fond of its slightly mature scent. Tone 28 covers the basics well while having a scent I prefer. My third reason for choosing this toner is its clean, attractive bottle design! Some men might not care about design, but I believe packaging reflects a brand's direction. The brown bottle gives a sense of stability and would make a great gift. The tear-off section when first opening reminds me of a boarding pass - a nice design touch! In summary, it's a toner with: - A 'clean' container - 'Quick' absorption - A subtle fragrance - 'Solid basics' Thank you! The price point is a bit high. It might be because I was used to a larger volume toner before, but it feels pricey for the amount. While I didn't experience any blemishes, I wish it had a slightly thicker consistency. - bo*********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 7, 2025
It's gentle on the skin. This toner really stays true to its purpose. I love how it's mild while effectively removing dead skin cells and smoothing out the skin texture. The scent is barely noticeable, and I appreciate the stylish light-blocking bottle design. There's not much to complain about. The only slight inconvenience is the small opening, which means you have to shake it a few times to get enough product out.
