Hmm... It feels less heavy compared to other concealers? It seems to cause less tightness or irritation on the skin. It barely functions as a concealer. It's so stiff that it's difficult to apply, and it sits on the skin with a matte finish, actually highlighting the areas you're trying to cover instead of concealing them. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 21, 2022
I usually skip makeup and just apply this concealer! It's matte, but if you moisturize well beforehand, it goes on smoothly without emphasizing texture. Because it's matte, it might accentuate dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 19, 2021
It's gentle, so it doesn't cause blemishes. The color is also just right for covering up skin issues. It tends to settle into pores, highlighting texture. The staying power isn't very long either. It's better at concealing scars than covering textured blemishes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2020
As someone who constantly deals with skin inflammation, I was thrilled to find a concealer suitable for sensitive skin! I didn't experience any blemishes or skin reactions after using this. It's non-irritating and fragrance-free! Surprisingly, it lasts quite a while despite its small size. The price seems reasonable for what you get. Plus, Sidmool as a brand has consistently good products, friendly service, and they're generous with samples! Well, while the ingredients are good, the application isn't great... It's quite drying, and it really accentuates my dead skin cells, unfortunately. I'm not sure how it would work for those with better skin. Also, the shade is quite dark. I managed to work with it, but it would be nice if they offered lighter shades too! Try applying it thinly in multiple layers using a concealer brush from Daiso - it helps reduce pilling! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 10, 2019
My skin is combination, sensitive, with closed comedones and occasional pustular acne. Previously, I mainly had closed comedones and rarely used concealer. Recently, I've been getting a few pustules that leave red marks, so I felt the need for a concealer. After trying various options that seemed to worsen my acne, I found this one with great ingredients. The ingredients are fantastic! It's probably the gentlest concealer out there, so I bought it regardless of application or color. It definitely doesn't aggravate my acne, which is a huge plus. Initially, I thought the color was too yellow, but it's actually great for covering redness. If you apply foundation matching your skin tone over it, any color issues should be resolved. The shade seems to be around #21, which is a bit dark for my #13 skin. I didn't expect much in terms of application, but it's not bad at all! It's a bit thick and dry due to the mineral UV filters, but the lipstick-like shape makes it easy to apply. The coverage is also pretty good! It works well for spot concealing, and provides medium coverage when applied thinly all over the face. The reason I deducted one star is because it's too matte. While I have acne-prone skin, it's also on the dry side, so this felt overly matte to me. If you've ever experienced mineral sunscreen emphasizing dry patches, it's exactly like that. It really highlights flaky skin around fresh blemishes or areas with dead skin cells. That's a bit disappointing. It's great for those lazy makeup days or when your skin is sensitive and you want to avoid harsh ingredients. The size is perfect for carrying around. The matte finish might be great for summer, but it's a bit drying for all-over application in winter. Make sure to moisturize well beforehand! This would probably work well for those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 3, 2019
1. Convenience: The stick format allows for quick and easy application with good adherence to the skin. 2. Ingredients: For a concealer, the formulation is quite good, making it suitable for daily use. (I have sensitive skin but experienced no blemishes. I'm on my third repurchase.) 3. Coverage: While it doesn't provide full coverage, it's enough to spot-conceal on bare skin before heading out. 1. The concealer stick is quite soft, so if you twist up too much product, it may break off. 2. Applying too much can emphasize dead skin cells. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 31, 2019
The Sidmool concealer seems to have a reputation for being ineffective due to its good ingredients (you often see this on apps like Hwahae). However, I found that its gentle formula doesn't aggravate blemishes, and it actually provides great coverage! So, I'm here to share my experience with my troublesome skin. As I've gotten older, my skin has become incredibly problematic, with constant blemishes... I'm lucky if I have one or two good skin days a month. To fix this, I'd either need to stop wearing makeup or consistently visit a dermatologist (though lifestyle and diet are likely factors too). But I can't give up makeup, and I can't afford regular dermatologist visits... So, I'm just trying to maintain my skin by using products with good ingredients. Even in a 'maintained' state, my face isn't clear - it's always bumpy with marks, so coverage is crucial when I'm doing my makeup. But my super sensitive skin reacts badly to high-coverage products with harsh ingredients...^^..... So I've been using a basic foundation, but it's not enough to cover my blemishes. After searching for concealers with good ingredients, I settled on the Sidmool concealer, which has zero harmful ingredients (it does have two UV protection components)! I can't do much about the skin texture - products with stearic acid cause an oil storm and breakouts. So I've somewhat given up on smoothing out the bumps and just aim to look decent from a distance! I won't go on about the good ingredients (if you're curious, check Hwahae!), but I'll share some skin photos... It's bare skin - concealer (patted on gently) - cushion, in that order. The last photo was taken outside on purpose! Don't you think it covers blemishes naturally (not artificially) to this extent?! The skin tone looks natural too! Since I apply the concealer first, I find it blends naturally with my skin tone depending on the cushion I put on top. If you're applying it thickly, use a brush to lightly apply and blend the edges. With products full of bad ingredients, you worry about causing more blemishes later, even after covering them. But with this, there's no worry, and it works great. For the bumps that can't be helped, I quickly try to get rid of them by squeezing and putting on a patch at night! Then the next day, even if it's a bit red, it's settled enough to apply makeup. (Just be careful of dead skin cells showing) It's a holy grail item for erasing blemishes without stressing your skin! I wish more people knew about it! (My boyfriend was surprised when he first saw me without makeup... my skin was so red from blemishes....^^...we had a serious talk about before/after makeup) It can be slightly drying! Be careful when applying over blemishes as it may emphasize dead skin cells I use this with the Gaon Dodam BB cream! Some people are disappointed that it only comes in one shade, but I find it works perfectly when I apply this first and then blend the Gaon Dodam on top - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2019
First off, it doesn't cause any blemishes and lasts a long time. Many base products for super sensitive skin lack coverage, so I use this like a stick foundation instead of regular foundation. The color is a perfect medium shade - not too red, yellow, or ashy. It doesn't completely avoid emphasizing dead skin cells, but it's fine if you pat it on. The coverage isn't quite as good as the popular concealers. Mine keeps breaking, but it's not a major issue. I use mineral sunscreen as a brightening moisturizer to even out my complexion. Then I apply this product thinly, focusing on the center of my face, and finish with concealer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 12, 2019
The ingredients are gentle and I'm not getting any blemishes, which is amazing! It's like a tinted product, I guess? As a guy, this is my first time using something like this, but I'm really satisfied! While it doesn't provide perfect coverage, it does a pretty good job of concealing. Since I have fairly light skin, it appears a bit dark on me. There's some emphasis on dead skin cells, but if I exfoliate and follow up with a hydrating mask, it seems to help reduce that issue. Apply, pat it in, layer more, pat again, and blend it out around the edges to even out your complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2019
I've been using Sidmool's concealer since discovering it while using their Gospot product. This is my second one! The ingredients are gentle. As you can see, the formula is skin-friendly, so I haven't experienced any blemishes from using this concealer. While I sometimes get pus buildup if I don't properly squeeze out a pimple, it's not because of this product. When I properly drain the spot and apply the concealer, it doesn't refill with pus. It lasts a long time. One tube... I've used it for at least five months. This might be because I only apply the concealer to very red areas. The lipstick-like packaging makes it easy to apply with a quick swipe. For a solid formula, it applies surprisingly well. I swipe it on my face and blend with a sponge, and it spreads nicely. While using my second tube, it suddenly broke off. You probably shouldn't twist up too much product at once. As expected, the application isn't as smooth as liquid formulas. It really emphasizes dead skin cells if you apply it to areas that haven't been exfoliated. The color is too yellow-toned and doesn't match my complexion. That's why I deducted one star.
