While the packaging may be simple, the effectiveness is superior!

  It might not provide enough hydration on its own during cold, dry seasons. I wish it was also available in a more hygienic tube format, rather than just a jar.

But after applying it, I felt how smooth it made my skin. Initially, I wasn't sure about the right amount and applied it generously, but it absorbed quickly even with the excess. It's not just moisturizing, it feels like it's deeply hydrating. It reminds me of the Sulwhasoo Finishing cream, giving that skin-coating effect... After my morning cleanse and skincare routine, it feels like I've applied a primer, leaving my skin feeling sleek and smooth. I use this cream after my toner and carrot serum (water-based lifting essence), and it leaves my face with a nice glow without any tightness. While I might get a few blemishes in the first couple of days, if I persevere and use it consistently for a week, I notice improved radiance, texture, and reduced appearance of fine lines. Unlike other rich creams that make my face oily by the next day (is it just me?), this cream leaves my skin feeling soft and powdery. They didn't call it 'Silk' for nothing...

  If I had to nitpick... While it might depend on how much you apply, you might get a few blemishes in the first couple of days, but if you leave them alone, they'll disappear in about 10 days. I have a habit of popping blemishes as soon as they appear, so now I have some scars on my face, but you really don't need to touch them. And... Given its price point, even though the cream is good, I'm torn about whether to make it a staple in my routine. (It's worth the price when you use it, but it's a bit burdensome for consistent use...)

  Tip

  You might think that after applying toner, essence, and cream, your skin would never feel tight, but if you feel like it's not fully absorbed or the oils are sitting on top, try warming your palms and pressing them against your cheeks and forehead. This seems to be a good method to enhance absorption.

  I have oily skin with large pores, but my skin isn't particularly sensitive. I really love this product. First off, I appreciate how it applies without feeling heavy. Previous products I've used were a bit excessive, leaving my skin feeling stuffy and sticky. However, the Derma Healing Silk Creamer provides just the right amount of moisture with a perfect weight.   I wanted to use this product for as long as possible before leaving a review, so I've been using it daily. I have extremely dry skin, lacking both oil and moisture, and I'm prone to allergic-type blemishes. 1. It doesn't cause blemishes. 2. The hydration is really great! It feels light, like condensed milk. 3. It seems to improve skin texture! 4. In the morning, my skin feels somewhat clearer...? These are the main benefits I've experienced so far. I plan to use it until it's empty and will add more thoughts later! Personally, I found the hydration better than Physiogel, and it's perfect for the drying season we're in now. So far, I'm very satisfied with it. I'm even considering repurchasing! ------------------------------------------------ (3 months of use - January 13, 2021) My skin has become much healthier while using this cream. It seems to have a brightening effect too. I've been getting a lot of compliments on my skin. While the dramatic improvement in my skin is largely due to another cream, this one kickstarted the initial improvement. For those struggling with blemishes and extremely dry skin, I highly recommend using this consistently as a night cream. As my skin condition improved, even products that used to cause blemishes now feel great when I apply them again. It seems that once you use this, your skin maintains its condition even when switching to other creams. When my skin shows signs of distress, I'll likely seek out and purchase this cream again. Honestly, if I hadn't received it for free, I probably wouldn't have bought it with my own money, but after trying it, it was better than I expected. Of course, it could be because ceramide ingredients have worked well for me before, but I was very satisfied with this product.

  Cons

  1. The 'mom's cosmetics' scent: Personally, I dislike this fragrance. 2. It needs sufficient time to absorb before applying makeup... otherwise, it forms a film-like layer on my skin (though this might just be my skin). 3. This isn't really a con, but... at first, the packaging looked so cheap that I wasn't interested. I was surprised by how good the product was after using it. Please invest a bit in design, even if it's just font alignment...
