Works great as a substitute for a nourishing cream. It really suited my skin well! I have no complaints about this product. It's good value for money and I'm satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It applies smoothly and has a nice, bouncy texture. After application, there was minimal tightness, and despite my relatively sensitive skin, I experienced no blemishes while using it. Even without using serums, essences, or other products, my skin felt comfortable with just this. Unlike some products that caused irritation around my mouth due to mask-wearing, this one didn't. It doesn't feel rich at all and seems to absorb well into the skin. Even after sleeping, my skin felt less dry and more comfortable. This seems like a great product for those with super sensitive skin, those who dislike rich textures, or those who prefer products without strong fragrances. There's not much to complain about, but it can be a bit inconvenient to open the lid, remove the inner seal, and use a spatula to scoop out the product. I thought it might be more convenient if it came in a tube format. I used this cream after applying a hydrating essence. If you need targeted treatments, you could probably apply them to specific areas after using this cream. - pa*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 12, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It seems like the small blemishes have calmed down. It didn't absorb well, so I had to massage it in quite a bit until it was fully absorbed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It absorbs quickly for a cream of its consistency. - When applied after washing your face at night, you wake up without any feeling of deep dryness. - Suitable for combination dehydrated skin with slight sensitivity. It doesn't cause any blemishes and helps refine skin texture. - When you twist open the lid, there's an inner seal that tends to stick to the cap. More of a pro tip than a hack: For evening use, layer toner, a light serum, and this Silk Creamer for best results. - wo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I have combination skin and lately I've been experiencing more blemishes and a weakened skin barrier. I was looking for a cream that could soothe and regenerate my skin when I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester. One of the good points is that when I applied this cream in the evening after my aloe gel, the hydration lasted until the next morning, preventing my skin from feeling dry and flaky. However, if you have oily skin with high sebum production, you might need to be careful with the amount you apply. I haven't been able to use this product consistently as I'm currently undergoing treatment for blemishes at a dermatology clinic, but I think it could be worth trying for those struggling with dry, troubled skin! I only recently found out I was selected as a Hwahae Tester, so I picked up the package from the delivery locker a bit late. I'll update with more details as I notice changes in my skin. (Update) It stings. After applying this, the areas with acne sting a lot. I'm not sure if this is good or bad for my skin... The stinging does subside gradually, but it makes me a bit anxious. It's hard to expect dramatic effects, but I think if you use it consistently to keep your skin hydrated, you might notice changes over time! As the weather is getting colder, I think this product might really shine when it becomes drier. However, since it's not completely cool yet, it feels a bit heavy to apply in the morning. I apply it using my pinky finger because I don't have a spatula. I wish they could improve that aspect! - mi******Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedOct 8, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It has a slightly thick consistency, but when applied to the skin, it provides an abundance of hydration. During dry seasons like now, applying it up to the neck keeps the skin moisturized for a long time. Even with a thin layer, it offers great hydration and improves skin texture. It leaves the skin feeling both soft and moisturized, and in the morning, your face feels smooth when washing. I'm not a fan of runny creams, so this texture is just perfect for me. The main drawback is definitely the price. The quantity is too small for the cost, which seems a bit excessive. Despite not having any dramatically impressive effects, it feels overpriced. I'm not particularly concerned about the design or fragrance, so while the packaging might be a bit plain, it doesn't bother me much. Additionally, during winter when my skin becomes flaky and sensitive, applying this cream can sting quite a bit. I have atopic dermatitis, so sometimes when my skin barrier weakens, my skin becomes thin and irritated. I'm usually careful about skincare products, and many recent releases are quite gentle, but this one seems particularly irritating. Of course, this could vary from person to person. When my skin is in good condition, it doesn't sting. If you have sensitive skin like mine, I'd recommend patch testing before use. This seems suitable as a night cream, and it's great to apply frequently when your skin feels dry. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 8, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The way it absorbs into the skin is quite pleasant. I've been using it consistently and haven't experienced any skin irritation, so the ingredients seem to be gentle. When I apply a suitable amount before foundation, my makeup seems to go on smoothly and stay put. I was a bit concerned about the thinness of the container - it feels like it could break if you're not careful. Also, the price point is a bit steep for me. Another small disappointment was the lack of a spatula, which would have been handy. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Hydration is top-notch (for dry skin) 2. Perfect for laser-treated skin and super sensitive mom skin The moisturizing effect is truly excellent. Just layer your toner or any water-based product, then seal it all in with this to lock in the hydration. It absorbs well, and I think it would be perfect for winter moisture. It's really great at maintaining the hydration from previous steps!!! I get laser treatments, and there's absolutely no irritation when I apply this afterward. It's convenient because I can simplify my routine to just a soothing ampoule and this cream. However, if you're like me and prone to closed comedones, you might want to apply it thinly. That's why I gave it to my mom who has dry skin, and she's extremely satisfied. My mom has super sensitive skin that sometimes reacts badly even to well-known products with safe ingredients, but she's using this comfortably. 1. Clogged pores Since I tend to have oily skin, when my pores get clogged, I develop small closed comedones. After using this, I noticed some of these popping up. While it might be perfect for some skin types, despite its excellent moisturizing properties, I ultimately couldn't continue using it due to this issue. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My current skin condition: Due to mask-wearing, I've been experiencing acne around my cheeks, which I never had even during my teenage years. That's why I started using Hwahae and was only applying Sidmool Madagascar Moisture Cream. As the severe breakouts have subsided significantly, I was looking for a moisturizer to strengthen my skin barrier. Product characteristics: - Ointment-like scent (personally, it reminded me of the cold cream my grandmother used) - Thick cream texture (similar to a nourishing cream) 1. The hydration was definitely noticeable Usually, I only apply sunscreen, and when I used the Sidmool moisturizer, I still experienced some deep dryness. However, with this product, I didn't feel any dryness throughout the entire day. 2. A little goes a long way Initially, I thought it was a bit pricey, but after applying it, I realized that just a small amount was sufficient. So, if you consider that 'one purchase lasts a long time,' it seems quite cost-effective. However, the amount used may vary from person to person, so take this as a reference. 1. I experienced an allergic reaction After being selected for The Hwahae Testers, I checked the ingredients and didn't find any allergy-related components, so I felt safe using it. However, after about 10 days of use without any issues, on the 12th day, I suddenly developed an allergic reaction on my face. While this could be due to my overall condition or a sudden drop in temperature, I'm mentioning it as a downside since it occurred right after applying the cream. 2. I didn't notice any significant improvements The review period is limited to 14 days, which is a short time to evaluate long-term effects, but I didn't experience any dramatic results. The texture might be hit or miss for some people. It's slightly thick and turns white when rubbed, so I had to pat it in for absorption. It also took some time to fully absorb. However, once absorbed, there was no stickiness or hair sticking to my face. - ti******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedOct 7, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

While it might not suit extremely dry or oily skin types, it's generally a good fit for most people. I love that the fragrance isn't irritating. It contains macadamia oil, which doesn't agree with my skin, so I only use it occasionally. The moisturizing feel is really nice, but that aspect is a bit disappointing for me...
