I often reach for this palette when applying eyeshadow for my daily makeup look! I start by taking the fourth shade from the left, 'Cork Stopper', and blending it all over my eyelids and under-eye area. Then, I use the third shade from the left, 'Aged Oak', as a point color on the outer corners of my eyes. Everyone knows Etude eyeshadows are top-notch, right? They have minimal excess, complement any complexion perfectly, and apply super smoothly! For reference, I have a darker skin tone. The palette also includes a couple of light, shimmery white shades, making it a great all-rounder!
ConsThere are quite a few bold purple shades that might be a bit much for everyday wear, so unless it's a special occasion, I tend to stick to the colors I use frequently!
TipI use a thin brush to create a shadow in my aegyo-sal (under-eye area) with this color. Although it's a reddish-brown, when used for aegyo-sal shadow, it turns out surprisingly natural and pretty!

Please understand that this review contains many of my personal opinions. For those who don't want to read everything, please check the summarized points marked with arrows (➡️). ❤️Recommended for deep autumn and deep winter tones 🍷Color Combination This is a perfect deep and red palette for winter. It's neither warm nor cool, but right in the middle, making it suitable for anyone who enjoys dark eye makeup. The five shades on the left are great for daily use as they're shadowy tones without red undertones, balancing well with the accent colors. The five colors on the right are the highlight of this palette - glamorous and red accent colors. True to its name, it contains many wine colors, giving a luxurious feel and making color combinations easy. ➡️Well-balanced color combination 🍷Color Introduction Camembert Brie Cheese (matte) An ivory color somewhere between white and yellow. I used it well as a base to prep my eye area. However, my sister said she doesn't reach for it often. She feels it's too bright for a base color, and with other base colors in the palette, she's unsure of its purpose. ➡️Ivory base color. Good for prepping the eye area but may be hit or miss Last Leaf (shimmer) True to its name, it reminds me of fallen leaves and chocolate brown. I used it well as an accent shadow, but personally, I prefer this kind of brown without shimmer, so I didn't use it much. If you like colors similar to 'Sibbete', you might find this satisfying. ➡️Shimmery brown accent shadow Aged Oak Barrel (matte) Along with the fourth color, this is the shade I used most in the palette. It has a very slight reddish tint and harmonizes well with any lip color, making it an eyeshadow I naturally reach for every day. At a glance, it looks like a chocolate milk tea color. ➡️Chocolate milk tea color, a very versatile shade Cork Stopper (matte) This is the second base color in the palette. While I used the first color to prep my eye area, I use this one to add depth and dimension. It's lighter than the 'Aged Oak Barrel' with a hint of yellow added. The pigmentation isn't strong, so it looked a bit plain when used alone. ➡️Good base color for prepping and adding depth to the eye area Rosé Sparkling Holic (shimmer) I was most excited about this shimmer before buying the palette, but... I was a bit disappointed. When applied, the shimmer wasn't noticeable, and it felt stiff when applied with fingers. It might be due to my lack of technique, but I found it disappointing and not great. If applied well, the shimmer itself is pretty. True to its name, it has pink and silver shimmers that sparkle beautifully at appropriate intervals. ➡️Pretty pink and silver shimmer, but difficult to apply Marathon Finish (shimmer) This color is absolutely amazing. It looks beautiful no matter where or how you apply it. It has an apricot hue with an incredibly silky gold shimmer that looks so luxurious. It has a beautiful reddish feel, and I highly recommend this color for those who usually find red makeup overwhelming. It's just too pretty! ➡️Gold shimmer apricot color. Absolutely gorgeous Spicy Wine Burgundy (shimmer) Another stunner! Layering this with the next two colors creates a beautiful effect. This color has a strong presence even with a light application, with a silky red burgundy that truly embodies the term 'red velvet'. ➡️Red burgundy. Perfect for accent Where Are You, My Other Half? (matte) This completes my favorite section. These three colors alone make this palette worth buying. This shade is darker than the previous one and closer to a purple burgundy. I find it useful for blending eyeliner. ➡️Purple burgundy. Great for eyeliner blending Bling Dress Code (shimmer) This is the only standout shimmer in the palette, with a beautiful mix of gold, green, silver, and pink that looks stunning in the light. While it's glamorous and pretty, I didn't reach for it often. It didn't seem to match well with the burgundy and red tones. Overall, I'm not satisfied with the shimmers in this palette. ➡️Green, silver, gold, and pink shimmer. Glamorous Elegant Bordeaux Wine (shimmer) This is truly a grape color. I don't use this color often, so I don't have much to say... It might suit cool tones better than warm tones. For warm tones, I'd recommend using 6+7+8 for makeup, while cool tones might prefer this instead of 8. ➡️Grape color. Better suited for cool tones 🍷Fallout/Adherence I didn't notice much when swatching with fingers, but there was significant fallout when using a brush. It was almost like fine dust, especially with the matte shadows. Due to the heavy fallout, the adherence wasn't great either. But considering the price point... I guess I can tolerate this level. ➡️Heavy fallout 🍷Application/Pigmentation I was worried about patchiness before buying, but it doesn't seem to be a big issue. When I first swatched with my fingers, I thought it might be patchy, but when I blended it out, it blended quite smoothly, which surprised me. The pigmentation is strong, making it convenient for creating red looks and intense makeup. ➡️Not too patchy. Strong pigmentation
ConsThe fallout was really disappointing, and while I found the application okay, it might vary for different people. I was also disappointed that none of the shimmers really appealed to me. However, the color combination is so good that shades 6, 7, and 8 alone make it worth buying.
TipEye Makeup Tutorial👀 1. Apply 'Camembert Brie Cheese' widely (from eyelid to under-eye) to prep the eye area. 2. Apply 'Cork Stopper' to the eyelid and slightly under the eye (in a smaller area than step 1). 3. Apply 'Marathon Finish' to add depth, up to just below the middle of the eye. For those with double eyelids, apply up to the crease line. 4. For those without double eyelids, lightly layer 'Spicy Wine Burgundy' for a subtle effect. 5. Apply eyeliner and mascara, then blend the eyeliner with 'Where Are You, My Other Half?'. 6. Add shimmer as desired - I only added 'Rosé Sparkling Holic' to my aegyo sal (under-eye fat).

I usually trust and use Etude House shadow palettes, whether they're 10-pan, 4-pan, or 9-pan, but this Wine Party palette left me feeling a bit let down. That being said, the color combination really appeals to me - it reminds me of deep red wine, perfect for creating a moody eye look. I found myself reaching for it often during autumn and winter. Out of the 10 shades, the 5 on the left are ideal for a brown daily eye look, while the 5 on the right have more reddish tones, great for creating a sophisticated wine-colored eye when applied with a light hand. The first shade, a bright ivory white matte shadow, works well for brightening the entire eyelid and under-eye area. It's also good for absorbing oil on the eyelids, serving as a powder substitute.
ConsThe main disappointment lies in the two glittery shades with fine shimmer. Their pigmentation is incredibly weak. Even after multiple applications, the color payoff is so subtle it's barely noticeable. This aspect was quite frustrating. Of course, for those who prefer very light makeup, this might actually be a plus. The light brown matte shadow also has weak pigmentation, requiring several layers for a subtle, soft effect, which was a bit disappointing. While the deeper, more intense colors have better pigmentation, the dark purple-tinted shade at the end can be tricky to blend when applied lightly, so it's best to use a very small amount and build up gradually. There's a slight issue with excess powder, but this is common with many eyeshadow palettes, so it doesn't particularly bother me.
TipTo improve the pigmentation of the weaker shades, try applying a small amount of eye primer before layering on the color. This should help with both color payoff and longevity.

The shades are so elegantly muted yet vibrant, exuding luxury. There's no excess powder fallout. It's perfectly sized for my makeup pouch. This palette has it all - base colors, transition shades for depth, smudgeable eyeliner, and even glitters. The two neutral beige glitters are absolutely stunning. True to its 'Wine Party' name, the burgundy shadows have that high-end department store quality. It's rare to find such sophisticated colors in a drugstore brand, but this one nails it.
ConsWhat's going on with the color payoff? It's disappointing... The eyeshadows are far too hard. You need to apply multiple layers for any pigmentation, which makes me reluctant to use it.

It's a shadow collection designed by cool tones, for cool tones, with cool tones in mind... haha! As a hardcore warm-toned person, I didn't have any grand reason for buying this product. I simply purchased it out of a spirit of adventure! Advantage 1: Price It goes on sale frequently, and during those times, I think the price is quite reasonable for a 10-color palette. Advantage 2: Color Combination Eyeshadow palettes often have colors that go unused, but even though I'm not cool-toned... haha... I think cool-toned folks would find most shades usable, except maybe the white one. Advantage 3: Durability I'm incredibly clumsy and prone to dropping things... I did eventually manage to break it, but honestly, I think it held up remarkably well considering how many times I dropped it. It survived countless falls before finally shattering!
Cons1. Exclusively for cool tones. There's no point in using it if you're not cool-toned. 2. The matte shadows don't have great pigmentation. 3. If it's not on sale, you might want to think twice before purchasing.
TipAs a warm-toned person, here's how I managed to make this palette work for me (see the photo below)! When I'm in a rush to do my makeup with just one palette in the morning, using it like this doesn't look out of place on my skin at all. If you're warm-toned and accidentally bought this, try using it this way!

I bought this as my first ever palette since I heard Etude was great for eyeshadows. When I first opened it, the packaging was so pretty and I loved it. However, there are quite a few reddish-purple shades, so it wasn't the best choice for a beginner. I wouldn't recommend this for someone buying their first eyeshadow palette as there aren't many usable colors... But the 6th shade ('Marathon Finish') looks absolutely gorgeous when applied to the aegyo sal, making it the most used color in the palette for me.
ConsWhile some shadows have good pigmentation, a few are too weak and don't show up well. The staying power isn't great either... I bought this because I heard good things about Etude, but even though it was my first eyeshadow purchase, I was really disappointed with the product quality. I've since learned that apparently the series improved a lot after this one.

For the price, the color variety is impressive! Highly recommended for those who love burgundy makeup. The 'Spicy Wine Burgundy' shade is particularly beautiful! As you can see in the photo, I've clearly used it a lot - you can see the pan! The color combinations are lovely too! It has everything in one palette - base, contour, accent, and shimmer shades. Perfect for taking on trips - you only need to pack this one item!
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder fallout. As you can see in the photo, there's also some powder clumping. And the color payoff is weak! Even after layering 3-4 times on the back of my hand, it still looks quite sheer.

The glitters are absolutely stunning! The color payoff is excellent, and the quality is on par with high-end eyeshadows.
ConsThe glitter has too much fallout... It's beautiful, but there's just too much excess powder.

The shades are luminous with beautiful shimmer. It's a perfect collection of eyeshadows for autumn. I found myself using it daily throughout the fall season. The color combinations are great, and the quality doesn't seem to fall short.
ConsIf you're not into reddish tones, you might want to pass on this one. This palette is all about that red-tinted glow.

You can create looks with brown tones or red (burgundy) tones, and I've used every shade except one glitter and the darkest purple. I've hit pan on almost everything else! I'll probably repurchase it. I've received so many compliments on my makeup when using this palette. True to Etude's reputation, the pigmentation is fantastic, and it pairs beautifully with their single shadows. If you love creating deep, sultry eye looks, you must buy this!
ConsThe texture of the white glitter is a bit disappointing... It feels more clumped together compared to the gold glitter.
