After using the 'In the Café' palette, I was so impressed with its practicality that I bought two more. The color selection is versatile enough for all seasons, and the compact size with a built-in mirror fits perfectly in my makeup bag - super convenient! The shadows apply smoothly, and the color combinations are so well-curated that I can mix and match effortlessly, always ending up with gorgeous eyes. There's minimal excess powder, which I absolutely love. I'll definitely stick with Etude House for my future eyeshadow purchases. While some complain about weak pigmentation, I actually prefer it this way. It makes layering and touch-ups a breeze, though I might be biased since Etude House is all I've used.
ConsI wish it came with a brush - the sponge applicator isn't great and often gets lost or tossed. It would be nice to have proper brushes on both ends. There's a bit of clumping, and the shimmer shades could use some improvement. Other than that, it's pretty decent.
TipThese palettes make fantastic gifts for friends. I've given them as presents a few times, and everyone loved them. It helps if you know your friends' preferred shades or go-to eyeshadows, but honestly, these palettes are so practical and well-designed that most people would be happy with any of them. Here's a pro tip: keep an eye out for sales. Stock up when they're discounted, and you'll always have a perfect gift ready for birthdays or special occasions. It's such a time-saver!

For the price, the color variety is impressive! Highly recommended for those who love burgundy makeup. The 'Spicy Wine Burgundy' shade is particularly beautiful! As you can see in the photo, I've clearly used it a lot - you can see the pan! The color combinations are lovely too! It has everything in one palette - base, contour, accent, and shimmer shades. Perfect for taking on trips - you only need to pack this one item!
ConsThere's a bit of excess powder fallout. As you can see in the photo, there's also some powder clumping. And the color payoff is weak! Even after layering 3-4 times on the back of my hand, it still looks quite sheer.

You can create looks with brown tones or red (burgundy) tones, and I've used every shade except one glitter and the darkest purple. I've hit pan on almost everything else! I'll probably repurchase it. I've received so many compliments on my makeup when using this palette. True to Etude's reputation, the pigmentation is fantastic, and it pairs beautifully with their single shadows. If you love creating deep, sultry eye looks, you must buy this!
ConsThe texture of the white glitter is a bit disappointing... It feels more clumped together compared to the gold glitter.

Camembert Brie Cheese - A creamy ivory shade with a white undertone. I used this as a base color. 2. The Last Leaf - A deep brown, darker than chocolate latte, with shimmer. I occasionally used this to fill in the inner corner or as an eyeliner. 3. Aged Oak Barrel - A mild brown with a soft ivory mix. Great for contouring cool-toned skin as it lacks red undertones. Could work as an eyebrow color, though I prefer ashier shades for that. 4. Cork Stopper - A beige with pink undertones, almost ecru. I also used this as a base. 5. Rosé Sparkling Holic - A shimmery gold. I dabbed this on the center of my eyelids as a finishing touch. 6. Marathon Finish - My most-used shade. When I first bought the palette, I often wore this alone. It has fine shimmer that's not overwhelming, with an indie pink vibe that could pass for 'Rosé Sparkling'. 7. Spicy Wine Burgundy - A lighter burgundy with fine shimmer. Too intense on its own, so I mixed it with other shades or applied it just above my crease after using lighter colors. 8. Where's My Other Half? - A matte purple shadow. I used this sparingly, mixing a tiny bit with shade 6 or 7 and applying near the lash line to avoid a bruised look. 9. Bling Dress Code - I mainly used this mixed with shade 6 for my aegyo-sal. It's a cool-toned gold shimmer with larger particles than shade 5. 10. Elegant Bordeaux Wine - A dark purple with shimmer. I used this a few times as an eyeliner, but it's quite intense for beginners. When I first started buying cosmetics, Etude House offered a quick personal color test. I was diagnosed as a Winter Cool tone, so my sister bought me all the cool-toned products there, including this palette. The color combination might be a bit challenging for beginners, but I'd recommend it to burgundy lovers.
ConsThe case is a bit cheap, with the shadows sitting unevenly. It's a shame not to use all the colors in a palette. After returning to Korea and buying a different palette, I hardly use this one anymore. The shadows tend to crease and have significant fallout - I often had to clean up powder from my cheeks. Sometimes, wiping it off left marks, requiring me to reapply my cushion foundation. The shadows can be a bit clumpy. I wish it came with a small brush instead of the sponge applicator it includes.
TipI started wearing makeup at 20 when I went to Denmark, and as a beginner, I mainly used combinations of shades 6 and 7 from this palette for a year. It brightened my eyes and gave a lovely look - my foreign friends often complimented my eye makeup. They don't seem to apply shadow to the aegyo-sal there. I remember one friend saying she wanted to try it after seeing me apply a mix of shades 6 and 9 to my aegyo-sal.

You can always count on Etude House shadows.
ConsUnfortunately, the 'Rosé Sparkling Holic' pearl shadow in the middle is quite disappointing in terms of color payoff. It also tends to clump a lot when applied to the eyelids.
TipHere's a pro tip: try applying the pearl shadow with your fingers instead - it works like a charm!

Camembert Brie Cheese - It's a subtle look. The color payoff is quite light. 2. *Last Leaf - It's just so pretty! 3. Aged Oak Barrel - Perfect for those who prefer a slightly darker base 4. Cork Stopper - I use this as a base on days I want a lighter look, otherwise I use Aged Oak Barrel. 5. *Rosé Sparkling Holic - The shimmer is really beautiful. I use it on the center of my eyelids and aegyo-sal. 6. *Marathon Finish - This would look gorgeous on the waterline 7. *Spicy Wine Burgundy - The star shade? It's my absolute favorite! I use it for contouring. 8. Where Are You, My Other Half - Etude really nails these names! Great wine color for the outer V and contouring. 9. *Bling Dress Code - It's a gold shimmer. I apply it to the center of my aegyo-sal. 10. Elegant Bordeaux Wine - The darkest purple of the 10 shades. I use it like eyeliner. While it suits both warm and cool tones, it might look better on cool tones. Highly recommended for deep undertones and winter cool tones. Shades 1-5 are great for daily wear, while 6 onwards have more of a burgundy feel. I find the latter shades slightly more mature, so I prefer the earlier ones for everyday use! Personally, I adore each and every color. The case is wine-colored with illustrations - it's absolutely gorgeous. The 10 shades are arranged horizontally, fitting perfectly in my makeup pouch. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent!
ConsThe Cheese and Cork Stopper shades, in particular, are so sheer that you might wonder if you've applied anything at all. There's some clumping when applied with fingers, so I recommend using a brush. I believe 4 of these 10 shades are available as singles, but apparently, the color payoff is lighter in this palette. Also, I'm not sure if I'm just clumsy, but despite having bought it recently, it's already damaged...

My complexion is around shade 23, and it suits me well. All the colors are so pretty, I love choosing different shades for my makeup looks. The variety of colors is truly impressive - I can create so many different makeup styles with just this one product.
ConsThe glittery shades tended to clump together, making it difficult to get an even application of color.

There's a great range for creating depth and dimension, and the pigmentation is excellent. The glitters are truly stunning as well!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's something I didn't notice before - there's a slight tendency for the shadows to clump when applied. But aside from that, everything else is perfect!
TipWhen you pair this palette with gray or blue-tinted contact lenses and create a burgundy-toned makeup look, it harmonizes beautifully with the lenses. The result is an incredibly sexy and strikingly beautiful vibe that's almost too good!

ConsAfter about 4 hours of wear, it seems to clump together and darken in color... What's up with that?

ConsHowever, it tends to clump a bit and doesn't apply smoothly with a brush.
