I loved that it had a nice balance of base colors and shading colors! Since I tend to use brown shades a lot, I found myself rarely using the wine color on the right side... That's a common drawback of standard palettes. If you have a clear preference for certain colors like me, I'd recommend buying individual shades rather than a palette! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2023
First off, in my opinion, most of the color combinations seem versatile enough for everyday use, with a few exceptions. I often reach for this palette when applying eyeshadow for my daily makeup look! I start by taking the fourth shade from the left, 'Cork Stopper', and blending it all over my eyelids and under-eye area. Then, I use the third shade from the left, 'Aged Oak', as a point color on the outer corners of my eyes. Everyone knows Etude eyeshadows are top-notch, right? They have minimal excess, complement any complexion perfectly, and apply super smoothly! For reference, I have a darker skin tone. The palette also includes a couple of light, shimmery white shades, making it a great all-rounder! There are quite a few bold purple shades that might be a bit much for everyday wear, so unless it's a special occasion, I tend to stick to the colors I use frequently! I use a thin brush to create a shadow in my aegyo-sal (under-eye area) with this color. Although it's a reddish-brown, when used for aegyo-sal shadow, it turns out surprisingly natural and pretty! - ne******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 20, 2022
The combination of base, shading, and accent colors is excellent. The shimmer content is just right. Blending the shimmer evenly can be a bit challenging. I found it worked better when applied with a brush. For a sultry eye look, apply the wine shade along your double eyelid crease and blend it outwards before using eyeliner. - 4e********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 18, 2022
It's just beautiful, simply gorgeous. Even though it's a bit of a shame for my cool-toned skin, it's still pretty. The shimmer is absolutely stunning! The color payoff is absolutely terrible. It's so disappointing, I can't even begin to describe how poorly it applies. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2021
The color payoff is excellent and all the shades are beautiful. This palette is all you need to complete your makeup look. Personally, I found the colors didn't suit me well, which was disappointing. However, this isn't a problem with the product itself. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinOct 24, 2021
The color payoff is fantastic! The shade is absolutely gorgeous too. There's a bit of excess powder fallout, which is a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2021
First off, I absolutely adored the wine color, and the pigmentation was fantastic! It's perfect for autumn looks. I honestly can't think of a single downside after using it. With its affordable price, this eyeshadow palette is definitely a great value for money! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 20, 2021
It applies smoothly without any grittiness, and the color payoff is rich and true to the shade. For those with cool undertones, the 'Bright' shade might appear a bit muted, so keep that in mind. - kx********Combination SkinAcne SkinMay 19, 2021
I really liked the color itself. Having two types of shimmer made it even better to apply. The darker shades also had good color payoff. The lighter shades don't show up well, and there's way too much excess powder fallout... - hy***********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 9, 2021
First off, I have a cool skin tone! This palette has everything - base colors, shading colors, and even shimmer, so you can do a complete eye look with just this one palette. Despite a few drawbacks, I'm overall satisfied and would recommend it. Even though I have a cool undertone, I'm not a fan of purple shades, so I only used a few colors, which limited my combination options. There was also quite a bit of excess powder fallout. Use the white shade at the front of the palette to brighten up the inner corners of your eyes!
