It gives a radiant appearance. I think it would suit those with a fair complexion. I wanted a moderate red-orange color, but it has an unexpectedly strong pink fluorescent tone, so I'm hesitant to use it often. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 2, 2022
Color (5/5) The quintessential red lip. It's a clear, vibrant red. It's the kind of red that perfectly matches the opening line of IU's 'Léon': 'Noticeably pale skin with blood-red lips'. Individual variations The color payoff can vary significantly from person to person when applied to the lips! (This is true for all lipsticks, but still) On me, it appears as a beautiful, clear red, but on my friend, it shows up as a brick color. Everyone should test it before buying! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 7, 2021
As someone who doesn't suit vibrant colors and loves matte lipsticks... + Vivid color payoff This gorgeous red-orange shade has amazing color payoff. Though yellow and orange tones can make my face look sallow, I still wear it occasionally because the color is just too beautiful. You can't blame the color, right? The vivid hue makes me look fully made up even without eye makeup. + Fades beautifully While it transfers a bit as a lipstick, it fades to a slightly powdery finish. True to its vibrant nature, it maintains its bright color even as it wears off. + Scent I actually like MAC's lipstick scent. Seems many people don't though! + Application Retro Matte is a bit stiff, Amplified is too soft, but the Matte formula is just right - it's my favorite. - Transfer I hardly wear MAC lipsticks these days with all the mask-wearing. - Not quite perfect for my complexion... Since it's not the most flattering shade on me, I don't reach for it often. On my skin, anything with an orange tint makes me look like I've been drinking kimchi juice! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 15, 2021
Four years ago, Lady Danger lipstick was my absolute favorite. I was obsessed with its deep undertone and orange hue. I wore it exclusively for quite a while. Looking back now, I can't believe I used to wear it so often! Hmm... I'm not really impressed with this one. Personally, I find the orange shade too intense and overwhelming. I'm not sure if it's really perfect for warm skin tones either (because it has a slightly fluorescent tint). I just can't see the appeal, unfortunately. However, if you're a fan of orange lipsticks, you'll probably love this! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinSep 27, 2020
When applied heavily with a full lip, it looks absolutely stunning! I always apply it with a full lip. It's that red-orange shade we've all been dreaming of. It's the Lady Danger color from the official website. Lady Danger isn't actually a red-orange shade. Many people misunderstand this, but Lady Danger is more of a red + pink color. The pink component seems to make up about 70% of the lipstick. If pink doesn't suit you, don't buy it. When it stains, it becomes a deep pink. If you want an orange lipstick, look elsewhere. Luna's red-orange lipstick was pretty good. It was a color that suited almost everyone effortlessly. I want to buy MAC, but don't want to get Luna, so if orange suits you, I recommend Chili. Chili is truly versatile. Also, MAC usually emphasizes dead skin cells, but this one seems to make it even worse... And the case is really fragile. If you drop it at home after applying the lipstick and putting it in your purse, it shatters with a crack... It was just from the height of falling off the bed while applying. Personally... unless you really love the color, I'd recommend other brands. I find the Armani line to be good for long-term, low-pressure use. I bought Lady Danger thinking it was orange, but if you can't settle for anything else, applying it thickly on your lower lip will give you that orange shade. It won't show up otherwise! You need to layer it on to get that desired red-orange color. If applied lightly, it's a red-pink lipstick. Layering didn't work for me. It's a lipstick that looks best when applied to the full lip! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 8, 2020
I'm not quite sure what I particularly liked about it... Color: Pink staining...? I was expecting a pretty coral shade, but it turned out very pink. For someone with a strong warm undertone like me, it made my lips look disconnected from my face. Longevity: The staying power is really poor. It transfers completely onto your cup after just one sip of water. Price: I'm not convinced it's worth the high price tag. Skip this lipstick and head to Olive Young instead for prettier and more affordable options. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2020
Hmm... The finish? It's just right - moderately matte and adequately moisturizing. The scent reminds me of high-quality crayons, haha! The case is also sleek and minimalist, without any unnecessary frills. The color is much more vibrant than what I saw in online reviews - more orange? Or perhaps a bright coral? I was surprised by how vivid the shade is compared to what I expected. Of course, lip color varies from person to person, so the way it looks will be different for everyone. On my lips, it's an incredibly bright coral-red... Sigh. I've used it less than five times before relegating it to the back of my drawer. It's not that the color isn't pretty, it's just so different from what I was anticipating... - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinOct 7, 2019
It's an orange-red shade, but with a subtle pink undertone! It was my first time trying a color with a pink hue, so it felt a bit unfamiliar at first, but everyone around me said it suited me well. I was looking for an orange-red shade, but it had a slight pink undertone. If you're not a fan of pink-tinted colors, I wouldn't recommend this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 31, 2019
It's a vibrant grapefruit shade - a perfect match for warm skin tones! The scent is delightfully sweet, and it absorbs beautifully. That's MAC for you, always delivering quality. I bought it because I love orange-red, but as I applied it, I noticed it had more of a pink undertone than expected, which was disappointing. When you gradient it, the outer edges of your lips magically turn into a cherry-pink shade. For those who, like me, absolutely can't stand pink, I recommend mixing it with another orange lip product when applying. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 17, 2019
My complexion doesn't usually take to pink shades well, often making me look a bit unsophisticated. I typically only suit clear, water-like tints or non-cherry colors. However, this was the first pink-red that actually complemented me! I think it would look great on those with deep undertones. The color seems to vary greatly from person to person. On me, it's a pink-red that appears quite bright, but on my friend, it comes out as an orange-red. Being a retro matte, it tends to be quite drying, so I always make sure to use a lip gloss with it.
