I had the chance to try a MAC lipstick for the first time at a great price! The color payoff and staying power are just as impressive as a lip tint. Above all, the shade was absolutely stunning. Due to its matte finish, it tends to emphasize dead skin cells quite noticeably. If you accidentally touch your face, the lipstick can smear around your mouth, which can be embarrassing at times. Apply a light layer of lip balm first, then use a lip brush to carefully follow your lip line for a beautiful application. - ne**Dry SkinRecommendedDec 17, 2024
A vibrant orange-red shade that's perfect for those with deep undertones. It features MAC's signature chocolate scent and comes in a convenient bullet lipstick form for easy application on-the-go. The formula is firm yet not too hard, and it's more moisturizing than a matte lipstick, which makes it glide on smoothly. Just a few presses of your lips together create a beautiful gradient effect and can even naturally overline your lips. The color is absolutely stunning, gorgeous, and breathtakingly beautiful... I'm in love with it! As expected with lipsticks, it doesn't stain the lips, so the longevity is a bit disappointing. It's too dry for frequent reapplication when you're out. It also tends to emphasize dead skin cells a bit! - su****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 12, 2024
Color - It's a pretty red-orange shade that's easy to wear for everyday use. Application - Although it's a matte lipstick, it applies incredibly smoothly. Because of this, it doesn't emphasize dead skin cells much. Longevity - The staying power is decent. It doesn't seem to differ much from other lipsticks. I didn't feel it lasted exceptionally long, but it has a reasonable wear time. - For someone with a light undertone like me, this color really doesn't suit me... - Like other lipsticks, it tends to melt easily, so don't keep it with hand warmers in summer or winter!! I recommend applying this as a point color on the inner lips after using a tint, rather than wearing it alone. I found it looks much prettier this way. - dl*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresJun 28, 2024
The texture seems perfect for those who love matte lips. While it's matte, it doesn't seem to make your lips overly dry. It applies quite intensely. If you want a lighter application, you need to dab it on, but then the color payoff becomes too weak. - db*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 23, 2024
A staple for years now. Great for adding a pop of color to the inner lips. When you have dead skin cells on your lips, applying this really emphasizes the flakiness. - jj*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 6, 2024
I totally agree that this is perfect for warm-toned 'fluorescent lighting' looks. It's great for everyday use, and even cool-toned folks found it suitable! It's a shame there's nothing to complain about! Maybe the only tip is to buy it during Olive Young sales? - sa******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2024
I really used this product effectively! Even with my deep undertone, I was able to apply it thinly in a gradient. Although it's labeled as matte, it's not excessively so. It's perfect for when you want to brighten up your face and look radiant! While it's good for those with a deep undertone, there's a slight fluorescent tint to it. It might not suit autumn or winter complexions. - wh*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 12, 2024
The color is vibrant and beautiful. There's a subtle hint of chocolate-like scent, which is quite nice. It tends to emphasize dead skin cells on the lips, which is a bit disappointing. It seems to suit warm undertones better than cool ones. - rh*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2024
It brightens up my complexion, making my skin tone look beautiful! The color had a strong fluorescent tint, which made it overwhelming to apply in large amounts. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 4, 2024
I bought this because it was recommended as a vibrant spring shade. It's a pure red lip color without any hint of white. When applied, it makes your complexion appear brighter. These days, when I wear it, it gives me a slightly dated look, so I haven't been able to use it much.
