Pros
Even though my skin was dry, using a toner and applying it a few times helped reduce the dryness and kept the moisturizing effect for a long time.

🌼 Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review 🌼 First of all, the serum-like texture is very moisturizing. The initial feel was a bit sticky, like seaweed extract. But once applied to the face, it gets absorbed quickly and leaves a soft, non-greasy finish. I didn't feel any stickiness or heaviness on my skin at all. After using this and my other skincare, I noticed a healthy glow on my forehead the next day. Just adding this one product made a difference. Even though I'm prone to small bumps, I didn't experience any of that after using it for a few days. It works great as a winter moisturizer, so I'll definitely repurchase once I finish this bottle.

Pros
I have an extremely dry skin type. In the winter, I can't go out without a moisturizer and oil... My base makeup falls apart, and the makeup doesn't absorb at all... My nose, lips, and cheeks are just covered in flaky skin, and no matter what good foundation I use, it has no effect. It's just a constant waste of money. The ingredients - a toner made from sea mustard grown in the waters of Wando?! It was unfamiliar, but I felt it was healthy and safe. Since I'm pregnant these days, my skin hasn't been the same due to the constant fever. Application - It applies very smoothly and softly. The formula is a bit sticky, but after a few minutes, the stickiness disappears and it becomes nicely moisturized. Absorption - The absorption is really great!! When I apply it with a cotton pad, it gets absorbed quickly and accurately. The absorption feels different from when I apply it with my hands. Moisturizing - I have a severe tight feeling, but after using this, my face felt so much more comfortable. (Personally, I've tried a lot of toners that are really good, and this one seems to have a great cost-effectiveness / This is definitely not an advertisement!!)

* My skin type: It used to be combination, but as I've gotten older, my T-zone around my chin gets a little oily only in the summer, while the rest of my skin suffers from severe dryness due to air conditioning and mineral sunscreen use all year round. I occasionally get blemishes around my chin. * Spreadability: Since it's an algae toner, I can feel a unique stickiness even in the toner, but after a few wipes, while it's not instant, the stickiness dissipates relatively quickly and it absorbs fairly fast. * Moisturizing: Compared to a watery essence, the algae's stickiness is a bit of a hassle when I have to 'break' it off my hand, like when I'm scooping out honey. But that stickiness seems to boost the moisturizing power a bit. It's not overly dewy, but it's a nice, comfortable level of moisture. I do have some tightness, so I do a 3-layer toner to fully hydrate. The moisturizing power of toners has its limits, and this level of moisture is just right so as not to interfere with applying the next moisturizing product. I first do the hydration layer, then apply an oil-based product to seal in the moisture. This helps balance the oil and water levels, addressing both the inner tightness and outer dryness. If I just apply a rich, oily product without first fully hydrating, I'll end up with an oily surface but still have inner tightness.

This skin has a similar feel to a toner essence. As someone with a very dry and tight skin type, I tend to use moisturizing toners with an essence-like texture. The Toc Skin seems to be perfect for my dry, tight skin. The texture is slightly sticky, but it absorbs well without leaving any dryness behind. The moisturizing power seems quite good. The fragrance is close to unscented, which is suitable for me. The ingredients also seem good, so I will definitely repurchase this.^^

This is a mucus-like skin. There are pros and cons to the texture and spreadability. Certainly, this type of skin has good moisture content. I tried using it as a pack by soaking a sheet mask in it, and when I added a little oil, it became nicely moisturizing and pleasant to use.

📌I have a flushed, dry skin condition! The toner was surprisingly small, which surprised me at first, but after using it, I really liked the ingredients and formulation! Since it has a viscous, mucus-like texture, I wouldn't recommend it to those who prefer watery toners! However, the viscosity makes it more moisturizing and longer-lasting on the face (?) But it doesn't mean it doesn't absorb into the skin! I have quite dehydrated skin, but after applying it, the tightness went away! It seems like a good product to use as the first step in a skincare routine. I was worried about the scent since it's called a 'seaweed toner', but the subtle green scent is pleasant and I'm satisfied using it☺️ As I mentioned before, I have flushed skin! So I've been soaking a thin cotton pad with the seaweed toner and applying it to my cheeks, and it seems to have a calming effect! The scent is comforting and clean.. It's completely my style.. When I apply it, the moisture level is higher, so my face feels more comfortable than when I just use a cream! I now understand why toners are necessary 😢 I also feel like my face is becoming more supple and firm haha The scent is not too strong, and it's just a natural, fresh fragrance that I really liked.

There's a slight lemon or herbal scent? The typical ceramide product scent is present but not overpowering. 👍The ingredients are gentle, so I feel reassured. 👍As a base: When I layer this as a base and then apply other products like ampoules and creams, my makeup applies really well. It's great to use as a base.
