As it is a First Essence used right after cleansing, I was worried it might be too lightweight, but it turned out to be quite dense. After applying, I can feel the moisturizing effect and a certain degree of nourishment. It's dense but absorbs well, leaving a refreshing finish without any stickiness. When used as the first step, it helps refine the skin texture, and I found that I no longer need to use a separate toner. I use this instead of a toner and then proceed to apply an ampoule or serum. The ingredients are good. It contains fragrance, but the scent is really nice.
