Pros
This product would be great for those of you who have trouble applying oily products! I also have an oily complexion, and if I apply products incorrectly, they can feel heavy, sticky, and even cause breakouts. But this product has no stickiness whatsoever...! However, it's not the most moisturizing either. It absorbs quickly, so it's good for light application. Especially when wearing masks like now, your skin can feel damp and stuffy inside, but you still need to do your skincare routine... This product is great for times like that. Aside from the strong fragrance, I really liked this product! The hygienic pump packaging was also a plus.

Pros
The texture is just right - not too moist, and I don't like sticky textures, but the finish is soft and applies lightly, which I like. It seems perfect to use right after cleansing! The fragrance seems to be quite divisive, but for me, while it was a bit stronger than I expected, it didn't give me a headache or anything unpleasant to that degree.:)

The packaging is just neat and clean, and I didn't expect it to be a pumping type since it's called an essence, but the pumping type was good in terms of hygiene! And since they recommend using it right after cleansing, I've been keeping it in the bathroom and using it, and it's a medium feeling between a toner and a lotion, but a bit more watery in texture. It seems to absorb lightly and refreshingly. Since it's quite watery, it's not as heavy as I thought. The weather has been getting a bit dry, so even after applying toner, my face still feels a bit tight, but I think this would be good to use as a toner substitute in the winter! Using this, then a serum, and then a lotion is enough for me.

I will leave a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review By the way, my skin is very sensitive and oily in the summer, but it becomes severely dry and quite sensitive when it gets cold. It came in an extremely neat package, and I used it for about 2 weeks starting the same night. It said to apply it right after cleansing, so I wiped off the moisture and applied it immediately. It feels really light and gentle - no irritation at all, and it prevents my skin from feeling tight. After that, I did my usual skincare routine (toner >> moisturizer >> repair cream), and using the Extra Milky First Essence definitely made my skin less dry. However, since my skin is already quite sensitive and dry, the lightweight texture didn't seem to provide enough moisture. Still, it's great that it eliminates the tight, uncomfortable feeling after cleansing. There were a lot of reviews saying the scent is hit or miss, but I think it's just okay - not good or bad. The scent isn't very strong, so it doesn't bother me at all. The absorption is incredibly fast, and my other skincare products seem to absorb better after using this, so I'm satisfied with it.^^
Cons
The downside is that it's too lightweight, so the moisturizing power is weak for my skin; and the price seems a bit high. I'll have to finish a whole bottle before deciding whether to repurchase.

I've purchased similar-feeling essences (something like Avene...) before, but they were thicker in texture, so absorption was slower and a film would form on the surface after application, making it difficult to layer additional skincare products. But this one has a fluid formula, so it absorbs quickly and leaves a smooth finish that makes the next steps in my routine easy.
