Pros
As it is a First Essence used right after cleansing, I was worried it might be too lightweight, but it turned out to be quite dense. After applying, I can feel the moisturizing effect and a certain degree of nourishment. It's dense but absorbs well, leaving a refreshing finish without any stickiness. When used as the first step, it helps refine the skin texture, and I found that I no longer need to use a separate toner. I use this instead of a toner and then proceed to apply an ampoule or serum. The ingredients are good. It contains fragrance, but the scent is really nice. The subtle fragrance lingers even through the final skincare step, which is the first time I've found a fragrance-containing product with a scent I truly enjoy!
Cons
It has a somewhat matte finish, so using this Essence alone may not be enough for those who prefer a more dewy look. Pros
This product would be great for those of you who have trouble applying oily products! I also have an oily complexion, and if I apply products incorrectly, they can feel heavy, sticky, and even cause breakouts. But this product has no stickiness whatsoever...! However, it's not the most moisturizing either. It absorbs quickly, so it's good for light application. Especially when wearing masks like now, your skin can feel damp and stuffy inside, but you still need to do your skincare routine... This product is great for times like that. Aside from the strong fragrance, I really liked this product! The hygienic pump packaging was also a plus.

The packaging is just neat and clean, and I didn't expect it to be a pumping type since it's called an essence, but the pumping type was good in terms of hygiene! And since they recommend using it right after cleansing, I've been keeping it in the bathroom and using it, and it's a medium feeling between a toner and a lotion, but a bit more watery in texture. It seems to absorb lightly and refreshingly. Since it's quite watery, it's not as heavy as I thought. The weather has been getting a bit dry, so even after applying toner, my face still feels a bit tight, but I think this would be good to use as a toner substitute in the winter!
