Although it's called a gel cream, it's quite oily compared to the lightweight gel creams we usually think of. When I applied it to my sensitive and irritated skin, there was no significant irritation, and it felt moisturizing and soothing.
Surprisingly, the calming effect was really good!
Every summer, I get recurrent folliculitis like a migratory bird, and after dealing with it a few times, I know that applying a pharmacy ointment like Esroban is a must (remember, for folliculitis, use a pharmacy ointment). But when I also focused my basic skincare on soothing and barrier protection, it healed much faster.
However, the Nature Sleeping Pack I used to rely on for my folliculitis-ravaged skin is now discontinued^^ So this time, I applied this product thickly like a sleeping pack, and while it is a bit oily, I can definitely feel my skin calming down. Looks like Lowquest is quite the basic skincare gem, huh? It's a bit pricey, but I'm considering repurchasing.

As a dry-skinned person, I use only moisturizing products for my base makeup. Other creams often cause my makeup to slide, but when I use this cream, my makeup stays in place even in the middle of winter. (I also apply a rich serum before the cream and layer a small amount of a heavier cream only on the driest areas.)

I'm not a big fan of jar-type containers for hygiene reasons, so I wish this cream was available in a tube format like the newer products in the same line.

Regular moisturizing creams are easily absorbed when applied, but they are so light that they quickly evaporate. This cream, however, has a velvety, coated-like smoothness along with its moisturizing properties. Yet, it does not feel heavy on the skin or cause makeup to slide off.

Some products, especially gel-type ones, can feel too lightweight, causing a tight or drying sensation. But this one, while being a cream, is not overly lightweight, and there's no uncomfortable tight feeling. It's like a perfect balance between a gel and a cream, and I really love it.

Normally, moisturizing creams feel like serums to me, so I don't apply them well. 
But this product is moisturizing enough to be used as the final step cream, and it can be used by both oily and dry skin types.

Since my skin is dry, the gel cream lacks a bit in moisture, so I apply a moisturizing cream on top of the gel cream a little while after.

While the gel-type cream has slightly weaker moisturizing longevity, it's not overly drying, so it's not a major issue. For those with very dry skin, adding a thin layer of another cream or using it in the summer might be a good idea.

The gel cream has an incredibly smooth application and absorbs very well. Plus, the echinacea ingredient provides excellent moisture and soothing effects, so it suits my skin perfectly!
