My skin felt plump and nourished. + Sensitive, dry skin As someone with sensitive skin, I often faced a dilemma: non-irritating moisturizers were too light and left my skin dry. This one, however, has gentle ingredients that don't aggravate my skin, while providing deep hydration. Thanks to this, I wake up to soft skin every morning. + Scent Some reviews mention disliking the fragrance, but I'm a big fan. It's subtle and comforting, not overwhelming at all. + Texture It's not a lightweight gel. As mentioned earlier, I love how it feels substantial and deeply moisturizing. + Absorption and stickiness The absorption is good enough that you can apply foundation right after without any issues. Despite its rich texture, it doesn't feel sticky at all. Surprisingly, it leaves the skin surface feeling smooth and matte. + Amount Some say it's pricey for the amount you get, but after two weeks of use, it's only decreased by the amount shown in the photo. Seems reasonable to me.
ConsI continued using my usual toner and ampoule, but in the beginning, I did get a few small blemishes on my chin! This often happens when I switch products, so it's not a major concern. I'm really stretching to find something to critique here!
TipIt absorbs so well that if you apply makeup right after, your skin looks incredibly smooth! You get that coveted Inner Glow!

It was also great that I could apply a generous amount without feeling heavy or suffocating on my skin. I'd recommend this to people with dry skin who dislike the feeling of traditional emulsions.
ConsAfter using it for just over a week, I started to notice some small blemishes appearing. I think it might be because my skin doesn't agree with oils, and this contains a bit of coconut oil. The product has a scent that seems to be from the coconut oil, which might be hit or miss for some people.
TipI have combination dehydrated skin, and when winter came, using just an emulsion left the area around my nose dry with dead skin cells flaking off. However, applying too much would cause blemishes. So now, I'm using the emulsion all over and then adding a small amount of this cream only on the dry areas!

I needed a winter cream, so I tried it as soon as it arrived. The most important thing is that it's not just a simple cream - it's a gel cream! You can tell it has a very bouncy and firm texture. When first applied, it might feel like a regular cream, but after patting it a few times with your fingers, it absorbs quickly, leaving your skin feeling firm and supple. Despite it being winter, it didn't feel heavy or suffocating on the skin! However, I'd strongly recommend those with oily skin to avoid it in summer. I have oily skin with excess oil in my T-zone and forehead, so I don't usually apply thick creams before makeup. But when I applied this cream in a tiny amount on my cheeks after my skincare routine and then applied makeup, there was no pilling, and my skin felt really bouncy! Although I didn't purchase it myself, I think it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. Despite that, the reason I gave it a high rating is because of its soothing effect! True to its name, it has an excellent calming effect. (I've detailed more about this in the 'cons' section.)
ConsYou might wonder why I gave it a high rating on one hand, but also deducted one point. The reason is that the day after I first applied the product, I broke out in unbearably itchy, tiny blemishes! These were small bumps that you could feel with your fingers when washing your face, but weren't filled with pus. I thought it didn't suit my skin and was going to stop using it. However, as I was selected for The Hwahae Testers program, I decided to keep using it to review it thoroughly... and what a surprise! As days went by, the bumps gradually started to subside. On the first day, my face was so itchy that I even applied Bepanthen ointment, but I believe the Echinacea Calming Moisture Gel Cream played a big role in calming my skin! I'm still using it now without any issues. My mother also used it and loved how firm and bouncy it felt, like a deeply moisturizing, nourishing cream! Important warning: If you have oily skin, absolutely avoid applying it to your T-zone! Before makeup, use only a tiny amount! (So little that you might wonder if it's enough to cover your face)
TipAs emphasized above, because it applies like a rich, nourishing cream, I recommend using only a tiny amount before makeup. This gel cream would likely work very well for those with dry skin! While individual experiences may vary, in my case, I initially had an adverse reaction with itchy bumps, but they all subsided after I ignored it and continued using the product consistently. It might be worth trying for those with dry skin.
