On the back of my hand, it's a perfect ivory shade that's not too light. Once applied to the face, it develops this subtle, pearl-like glow that's so beautiful I minimized powder application. While it does provide some matte coverage, I think this luminous finish is too precious to waste on summer heat - it's perfect for winter with minimal powder. The shade 21 is slightly lighter than my usual Hanyul 21C, but it looks natural and sophisticated. - I have combination skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks. Usually, I go for matte foundations with powder on top, but with the Lottie Centifolia foundation, my skin looks amazing without heavy powder. It gives that 'your skin but better' look - like I'm naturally blessed with great skin and just applied a brightening moisturizer. It's not overly dewy or lacking in staying power. Initially, it feels a bit thicker than Hanyul with good adherence, but quickly melds with my skin. As it wears, it just makes my complexion look healthier! - The coverage is medium-high. It doesn't completely erase severe blemishes or redness as shown in the photo, but it covers much better than most foundations. I was pleasantly surprised by the coverage when I first tried it. It conceals naturally without looking cakey or thick like some matte foundations. The longevity exceeded my expectations too. Even by evening, I didn't notice any darkening or patchiness. Perhaps my favorite aspect is how beautifully it wears throughout the day - as my natural oils come through, it just looks more radiant! Overall: While this foundation may not be the ultimate in longevity or transfer-resistance, it excels at creating a natural glow and sophisticated skin finish. It's slightly more matte than typical 'glow' foundations, giving a polished look. I'd love to try a shade lighter to mix for a perfect match. I think blending shades could work wonderfully! I'm not sure if there are actual pearls in it, but it gives such a lovely pearl-like radiance. As it wears, my skin just looks enviably good.
Cons- I was a bit anxious about dispensing too much product when pressing the pump. I wish the pump was a bit more flexible - it makes me nervous every time I use it. - The foundation has a slightly matte finish, but compared to my usual Hanyul foundation, it feels a bit more fluid and hydrating. It doesn't seem to smooth over dead skin cells as well as thicker foundations. You might want to exfoliate before application, especially if you have dry patches. While it covers redness and acne scars well, I noticed it emphasized texture a bit on my forehead and acne-prone areas. I applied it without a base, but I think using a primer would create an even more beautiful skin finish. Interestingly, as my natural oils come through, the texture becomes less noticeable. It's likely due to the unique semi-matte, fluid texture. - Since I went light on powder, there was some transfer onto my phone during calls without a mask. However, I didn't notice any transfer onto my face mask. As the day goes on, while the foundation wears beautifully overall, I did notice some settling around my nose creases. This could be due to my minimal powder application. If you use this foundation, I'd definitely recommend powdering well around the nose area.
TipApplying with a Fillimilli V-cut brush (or any similar dense brush) worked great for covering pores on my cheeks. The foundation's unique texture means it applies well with various tools. I personally prefer a brush over a sponge - it really enhances that subtle glow and makes skin texture look beautiful! People blessed with naturally good skin probably look great in anything, but this foundation truly makes you do a double-take - it's that good at enhancing skin texture. It makes me wish my skin was this naturally flawless so I could skip concealer! After using matte foundations for so long, this one just makes my overall complexion look healthier. - Photo description: The first four-panel image shows my skin before (left) and after (right) application, with forehead (top) and cheek (bottom) areas. The next photo is my cheek area after about 5 hours, showing how my natural oils have come through. The third photo, taken at the same time but in different lighting, showcases that beautiful pearl-like glow! The last image is a swatch on the back of my hand - it has an interesting paint-like consistency that's fluid but doesn't run.

The generous amount means it'll last for ages, which is a great value. I loved that it didn't have that typical cosmetic scent. If you're after a matte finish, this is perfect for you!
ConsDespite its smooth application, it felt a bit too matte for my liking. Perhaps it's because of the winter, but I prefer something more hydrating.
TipTry mixing it with a bit of moisturizer for a softer, more natural application!

This product seems to have pretty good coverage! Just make sure to control the amount you apply to avoid patchiness or pilling. I used shade 21, which seems a bit brighter compared to other products! So even a light application improves coverage and brightens my complexion. Plus, with SPF 50+, there's no need for separate sunscreen, which is great!
ConsI was surprised by how matte this product was when I first applied it. To improve application, I sprayed some mist on the cushion, which helped a bit. I wouldn't really recommend this for those with dry skin. If you do use it, you might want to apply more skincare products than usual beforehand.
TipWhen using this product, it might be better to build a solid skincare base or mix it with a facial oil for improved application!

It had enough coverage to conceal redness and dark spots, and the color allowed for a natural, radiant look instead of an artificial appearance. The application felt light, spreading thinly and adhering well to the skin once set, without transferring much to my mask. As someone who enjoys a matte finish, I found it satisfactory enough that I didn't need to use additional powder. I'm also satisfied with how it naturally breaks down with oil production, giving a dewy glow rather than completely falling apart!
ConsGiven it's a matte foundation, when used alone, it did unfortunately accentuate pores a bit, which was slightly disappointing.
TipApplying an appropriate amount of primer thoroughly before makeup helps with pore coverage. Using hydrating skincare products to exfoliate and moisturize before applying foundation creates a coating effect that reduces dryness and improves longevity. For areas with excess oil production, finish with powder. This allows you to simply remove excess oil and touch up with powder in the afternoon, helping to maintain a smooth complexion without caking!
