The foundation absorbed well and the color matched my skin perfectly! My previously dull complexion transformed into a radiant glow after applying the Centifolia foundation. The coverage is quite light! It might work for those with clear skin, but people with blemishes and visible pores might find it less satisfactory. Applying it with a damp sponge prevents pilling and gives a cool, hydrating feel as it absorbs into the skin. - ry*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 18, 2023
Absolutely amazing! It's the best for my skin so far. Wow, I can't believe how good my skin looks! On days when I use this, everyone goes crazy saying how great my skin is. My makeup also lasts incredibly long. I love you, Laneige, as always! Laneige has a habit of discontinuing products at the drop of a hat. Please advertise more so you don't disappear! It looks beautiful no matter what tool you use to apply it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 31, 2021Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It feels moisturizing, lightweight, and smooth! It's nicely hydrating, making it perfect for winter use. In my opinion, it seems to be fragrance-free, haha! I received this through a Hwahae Testers event and finally got around to trying it. I apologize for the delay! Still, I found the product so good that I felt compelled to write this review. As time passes, oil tends to surface. I think this would be best suited for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin. It might not be ideal for those with oily skin. You don't need to pump many times - even a small amount is enough. It seems like just a little bit can cover your entire face. - ko*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 24, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

But it matched perfectly! Coverage: When applied with a puff, the coverage wasn't particularly high, but it did conceal slight redness. It layered well, and I typically applied two layers. However, it doesn't completely cover blemishes, so those with scars or many spots might find the coverage a bit lacking. Application: It applies well even with fingers, and while I haven't tried a brush, the texture seems versatile enough for various application tools. Matte/Glow: At first pump, I thought it might be quite glowy, but as someone with dry skin who applied this after toner, emulsion, and cream, it initially had a slight sheen but quickly set to a semi-matte finish! On days when I used richer skincare, I lightly powdered around the edges. For dry skin types, it might feel a bit dehydrating if you don't moisturize well beforehand! Also, it tends to break up and crease slightly around the nose. While applying, it doesn't go on perfectly smooth around the nose area, but it's not too noticeable until it starts to wear off, which then becomes quite visible. I found that applying it with a damp Olive Young Fillimilli Jelly King sponge really helps achieve a clear, radiant complexion! Layering can cover everyday redness, though it might not completely conceal severe redness. I'm still using this product regularly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 21, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

But after applying it to my face and gently patting with a puff, it quickly adjusted to match my skin tone perfectly. That's a win! The coverage was also great! I have red blemishes and marks on my cheeks and chin, and it covered them well on the first application, which I really appreciated. I applied it with a mist-sprayed puff in the morning and was out all day, but around lunchtime, it started to break down dramatically. I have combination dehydrated skin, so my forehead and cheeks are oily while my nose and chin are dry. The oily areas became extremely greasy, and the dry parts had my skin cracking to the point where you could see dead skin cells. Other foundations do this to some extent, but this one had the worst breakdown. I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. - nd******Combination SkinRecommendedDec 20, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I was worried it might not spread easily since it's thicker than my usual Espoir foundation, but it glided on smoothly with a brush, which was great! - Coverage: The coverage was pretty good too! I don't have a lot of blemishes, but I do have some small visible veins and acne scars. It covered them well, so I didn't need to use much concealer! - Longevity: I think longevity is the most important factor, and luckily I was able to test it during my internship! While the areas under my mask inevitably got a bit dewy due to heat, I was impressed that my forehead and eye areas stayed put without any noticeable creasing even after 8 hours. The one downside was that shade 21 was too light for me... I usually use Espoir Pro Tailor Foundation in Petal, but this one was noticeably lighter. I wish they had a wider range of shades available. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My face is even drier, so I applied it to the back of my hand, which is slightly less dry, to test it out. - Absorption: I applied a thin layer, emphasizing its moisturizing properties. It spreads well without using any tools. Despite having a thicker consistency than expected, it applies quite smoothly. As advertised, it goes on in a thin layer. - Coverage: As you can see, the applied area shows significant coverage. Lighter spots are almost completely concealed. - Adherence: It barely transfers to masks, and only slightly rubs off when rubbed with fingers. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free. - Color: It's extremely yellow. I had to double-check if they really sent me shade 23. My hands are relatively tanned since I don't apply sunscreen there, but the area where I applied the product looks so yellow that it's obvious I put something on. Even though it's a thin layer, the overly yellow tone makes it look thick... The photo doesn't capture it well, but it's the color of a manila envelope. It looks like clay. The yellowness is so intense that it overshadows all its good points. - Settling into wrinkles: Despite applying only a small amount, it settles into wrinkles easily. I tried reapplying over wrinkled areas, but it doesn't cover them well either. - They claim it's moisturizing inside and matte outside due to the damask rose water, but it tends to look patchy. I used an extremely small amount for the texture and application photos, even less than what I'd normally use. I recommend mixing it with a pink-toned product to counteract the yellowness, or using it as a concealer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It brightens my complexion more than other products, even though I already have fair skin. 2. It's hydrating, which is great for deep dryness and dry skin. 3. No darkening effect. It's perfect for winter use, and I'll definitely reach for it again when the cold season comes! Due to its moisturizing properties, it can transfer onto masks, but this improves slightly over time. However, it doesn't cause makeup to break down! This is excellent for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin. For an enhanced Inner Glow effect, apply a mist to hydrate your skin before using this product. I highly recommend it, especially for those cold winter days! - wj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The best thing about this foundation is that while it starts off light, it adapts to your complexion over time. Most importantly, it applies smoothly and keeps skin hydrated, making it perfect as a winter foundation. There aren't many downsides to mention. If I had to pick one, I'd say it seems to develop a slightly grayish tint as time passes. Also, it doesn't have enough coverage to completely conceal blemishes. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with everything else! If you're planning to use this foundation, make sure to pair it with a concealer! That combination should give you flawless results. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 19, 2020Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It spreads easily even when applied with just your hands. The particles must be fine... For super sensitive and extremely dry skin like mine, it felt a bit drying. The coverage is lacking. You might be better off using a regular brightening moisturizer with SPF. (This is just my personal opinion!) I mixed it with my usual facial oil before applying, and I have to admit it became more hydrating as time passed.
