I was surprised by how good the coverage is for such a hydrating formula. # Adherence 🍀🍀🍀🍀 I applied it with a Fillimilli foundation brush and then patted it in with a Daiso puff. It spreads well with just a small amount and adheres thinly to the skin. # Skin Finish 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 The skin finish is truly beautiful! It's moisturizing when first applied, but as time passes, it sets and gives a natural glow. It's right between 'glossy' and 'semi-matte'. I'd say the skin finish rivals even high-end foundations from other brands! This was my favorite aspect of trying the Lottie foundation.
Cons# Color Match 🍀🍀🍀 It was a bit light for me, giving a slightly floating appearance. This depends on individual skin tone and preference, so I won't elaborate too much! Please refer to the attached photos. # Darkening 🍀🍀🍀 This is my least favorite aspect. I'm not sure if it's due to poor longevity or if it just doesn't wear well, but after a few hours, I noticed my face had darkened. It doesn't seem to fade gracefully.
Tip- It pairs well with the Round Lab Birch Juice Sunscreen! - Using it with cream or liquid blushers really brings out a beautiful glow!

Though lightweight, the coverage is truly impressive! It applies with a moisturizing feel, making it perfect as a winter foundation or for those who prefer a hydrating formula. The hydrating sensation comes from its moisture-rich texture. At first, I noticed a slight pilling, but when I used a damp Real Techniques sponge, it adhered perfectly to my skin! #Hydrating #Coverage #NaturalLook
ConsFirst off, it had a bit of that typical cosmetic scent. I wore it for about 5 hours while out. Initially, I loved the beautiful, natural ivory color that gave a bright but natural look. However, after about 3 hours, it started to separate slightly around the philtrum area and showed some darkening around the eyes. Of course, considering we're wearing masks these days, the product performance isn't bad overall. But despite claiming to be 'matte but moisturized', it didn't feel powdery to the touch.
TipI sprayed a fixer immediately after applying the product. This significantly reduced the darkening effect. Personally, I found that using a damp sponge gave a prettier skin finish than a cushion puff.

I usually use shade 21, and for reference, I use Espoir Be Glow in Ivory and Kill Cover Founwear Longwear in Lingerie. This review is written 4 hours after application. Texture: I love the paint-like texture. It doesn't droop like an emulsion and applies decently well. Glow: It's just right! At first, I was unsure, but after a short while, a subtle glow appears. Color: The color is absolutely beautiful! It's incredibly natural and thin, enhancing your skin without making you look like a gyaru with overly bright makeup. Adherence: I applied it with a Daiso puff, and it worked quite well. It adheres smoothly to the skin.
ConsScent: The cosmetic fragrance might be divisive. It has a typical makeup smell, which I personally didn't like (it's similar to Kill Cover Founwear). Darkening: After 4 hours, there's a slight darkening, but it's not too severe. Nose creasing: Unfortunately, it creases around the nose area. Coverage: For someone like me with acne scars, red blemishes, and dark under-eye circles, the coverage wasn't satisfactory. You can't finish your base with this alone; a concealer is a must! 'Matte but moisturized' claim doesn't hold up: As time passes, the surface becomes dewy as it mixes with skin oils, but underneath, it feels increasingly dry. However, it doesn't transfer much to masks.
TipFinal verdict: I'll use it occasionally because the color is natural, applies thinly, and looks pretty. It would look luxurious and beautiful on those with good skin! As for me, I'll be using it with a concealer.

Cons- Slight darkening effect on dark circles - The foundation itself feels a bit heavy, and skin feels slightly suffocated after application - Coverage of redness around the nose is a bit lacking, but still better than other foundations - Skin felt dry after about 4 hours, and there was slight pilling - Doesn't dry down even after time passes, keeps transferring onto hands, doesn't feel powdery
Tip- If it performs this well with a cheap puff, using a good quality puff would likely improve coverage and longevity - Since it doesn't become powdery over time, definitely use a setting powder
