My face is even drier, so I applied it to the back of my hand, which is slightly less dry, to test it out. - Absorption: I applied a thin layer, emphasizing its moisturizing properties. It spreads well without using any tools. Despite having a thicker consistency than expected, it applies quite smoothly. As advertised, it goes on in a thin layer. - Coverage: As you can see, the applied area shows significant coverage. Lighter spots are almost completely concealed. - Adherence: It barely transfers to masks, and only slightly rubs off when rubbed with fingers. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free.
Cons- Color: It's extremely yellow. I had to double-check if they really sent me shade 23. My hands are relatively tanned since I don't apply sunscreen there, but the area where I applied the product looks so yellow that it's obvious I put something on. Even though it's a thin layer, the overly yellow tone makes it look thick... The photo doesn't capture it well, but it's the color of a manila envelope. It looks like clay. The yellowness is so intense that it overshadows all its good points. - Settling into wrinkles: Despite applying only a small amount, it settles into wrinkles easily. I tried reapplying over wrinkled areas, but it doesn't cover them well either. - They claim it's moisturizing inside and matte outside due to the damask rose water, but it tends to look patchy.
TipI used an extremely small amount for the texture and application photos, even less than what I'd normally use. I recommend mixing it with a pink-toned product to counteract the yellowness, or using it as a concealer.

Let me give you my honest thoughts on it. 😊 ✨Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin/Sensitive/Shade 22 ✨Adherence: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pros: The Centifolia Foundation has a slightly runny texture, so I expected it to apply very thinly. True to my expectations, it adhered to my skin beautifully because of how thin the layer was! Cons: However, I deducted one star because the runny texture made it transfer easily when it touched my phone or hands, which was a bit disappointing. Even after applying 1.5 layers and setting with powder, it still transferred, which was a letdown. ✨Longevity: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by how long-lasting it was. Despite the transfer issues, if you look at the 3rd and 4th photos below, they were taken after 8+ hours of wear. Granted, I was mostly at home due to COVID and didn't do much physical activity, but I was still very satisfied. The way it faded was also very clean. With other foundations, my nose would often look too light, requiring touch-ups, but with this one, it just faded evenly, looking clean without any noticeable breakdown. Cons: When wearing a mask, the foundation did inevitably smudge onto it. But this is an issue with pretty much all foundations and color cosmetics, so it can't be helped! ✨Coverage: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Compared to products focused on high coverage, this foundation's thin application means it doesn't offer much coverage. The first photo shows my bare skin with some blemishes, and the second shows 1.5 layers of foundation. It doesn't magically cover everything, but it should be good for those who don't prioritize heavy coverage. I found that applying a thin layer of this foundation and then using concealer worked well! Overall, I was very satisfied with this product!
ConsThe only downside was the significant transfer issue. While it was a bit annoying, the foundation doesn't cake up when you touch it up, so it's still workable if you don't mind doing some touch-ups throughout the day.
TipI found that applying a thin layer of brightening moisturizer with a slight white cast before using this product helped maintain a radiant complexion without darkening for longer.

It applies much thinner than my previous foundation but adheres perfectly to the skin. Being so thin, it doesn't feel heavy or burdensome on the skin 🍏 Moisture It contains hyaluronic acid, though I can't really tell. When I press my palms against my cheeks, it feels moisturizing and pleasantly elastic 🍏 Color My personal color analysis results vary, but I have a light yellow undertone (usually use shade 21, shade 23 makes my neck look whiter). Anyone can tell I have yellow-toned skin. Pink and brown tones suit me well (often complimented when wearing pink, saying it suits me and makes me look radiant) -> It brightens my skin slightly more than my natural tone, but matches perfectly with my neck. My face definitely doesn't look disconnected from the rest of me 🍏 Coverage Although I mentioned coverage in the downsides, I'm personally satisfied. Even without using a primer, it covers pores surprisingly well. Maybe my expectations were low because it applies so thinly 🍏 Overall Impression - Personally, I prefer light makeup (not heavy), and I'm really satisfied with how this foundation is lightweight and moisturizing, yet provides decent coverage without feeling burdensome - I'm planning to switch from my previous foundation to this one!
Cons🍎 Coverage - As it applies thinly, the coverage seems less compared to what I used before. Personally, I prefer the thinner application, so I'm satisfied - It might be slightly lacking in covering dead skin cells 🍎 Longevity As it applies thinly and has slightly less coverage, the longevity is also somewhat lacking. It was fine for me as I don't wear heavy makeup
TipFor those with dry skin, if it feels too dry, mixing in a bit of facial oil when applying might work well

The formula is thinner and more hydrating than I expected, so I didn't have high hopes for coverage. But wow, it really exceeded my expectations! I never thought it was possible to achieve both coverage and hydration, but this product nails both brilliantly. Application: I applied it with a regular cushion puff, and it went on incredibly thin! Instead of feeling like I'm forcing on layers for coverage, it feels light yet effectively concealing. Color & Darkening: Personally, I dislike when pink or yellow undertones are too obvious. This has such a natural color that I'm absolutely thrilled! Also, as someone who rarely touches up, I didn't notice any darkening at all.
ConsSlight oiliness: After some time, I noticed a bit of oil coming through. I suppose this is expected given how hydrating the product is. Staying power: While it applies thinly and doesn't darken, the reality of wearing masks daily means some inevitable rubbing off.
TipThe product is hydrating enough that you don't need to dampen your puff or use any special applicator - a regular cushion puff works perfectly to achieve a dewy finish!

That's why I'm using it together with my mom who wears a mask for long hours at work^^ #Ingredients Although I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes after using this
ConsIngredients...? Fortunately, I didn't get any blemishes But if the ingredients don't suit you, it could be a bit problematic
TipI think it's better to apply a small amount twice rather than applying a lot at once

As someone who usually only wears sunscreen or concealer, I've never seen a foundation that matches my skin tone this well. I really love this aspect... *Strong SPF, so you don't need to apply sunscreen separately Yet it doesn't feel harsh on the skin *Applies thinly and evenly, not thick or cakey *Decent coverage when layered While I can't say the coverage is excellent, it's quite good! It even covered wrinkles and pores to some extent! *Looks more natural as time passes Even though I applied it in winter, it became more natural-looking over time
Cons***Here's my review after using it for about a month: *Dryness is noticeable Maybe because it's winter and my skin has gone from dry to extremely dry, but even after applying all my skincare, it still looks a bit dry. I think I'll have to use this in summer... *Some pilling occurs This could be due to my dead skin cells, but there is some pilling! Dry skin types, be cautious... *Difficult to cover pores around the nose When I tried to layer it to cover pores around my nose, it felt even drier, making it hard to cover... ※Overall impression As I have dry skin, it pills or dries out in winter, so I think I'll have to use it in summer! It's hard to recommend this product to those with dry skin... However, the color is very natural, and for those with fair skin, it can give a 'no-makeup' look Also, it doesn't apply thickly, so it feels like you're not wearing anything. It's nice and lightweight!
TipSince it was a bit drying for me, I made sure to apply my skincare very thoroughly before using this foundation, or I used it after applying serum and a moisturizing cream.

Having only used matte products before, this one feels a bit more fluid. This allows for a thinner application. While the initial coverage isn't as intense as thicker products, you can build it up by applying 2-3 layers. A little goes a long way. You only need about 2/3 of the amount you'd typically use with a pump-type foundation, so it lasts longer. As someone with oily skin, I didn't notice much breakdown, probably because I stayed in dry environments. I'd recommend this to those who experience foundation separation over time when using matte products.
ConsSince I've been using only cushion compacts lately, the process of layering multiple times can be a bit tedious. If you stopped using foundation because it was too much hassle, this might end up unused. Apply, let it dry, apply again, let it dry. If it's not enough, repeat. Of course, if this sounds like too much work, sticking to cushion compacts might be your best bet! Quite a bit of product comes out with each squeeze. If you're planning to cover your entire face, start with one squeeze, apply it, and then decide if you need more. Since packaging varies by brand, I'll mention that if you usually use two pumps of E*t*e L*u*er, try starting with just a tiny squeeze of this and see how it goes.
Tip1. Start by squeezing out a small amount and applying a thin layer to your face (be careful, as the formula is more liquid than you might expect and could potentially drip if you're not cautious). 2. If the initial thin layer doesn't provide enough coverage, repeat the process of applying, patting, and letting it dry about twice more. 3. Unless you have extremely oily skin, it might be worth trying a non-long-lasting or non-matte foundation in the dry winter months. I've had oily skin my whole life, but surprisingly, oil hasn't caused as many issues as I expected.

Great adherence to the skin. Gives a subtle glow, making the skin look vibrant. Brightens the face and creates a natural-looking complexion!! Maintains moisture without caking, even after hours. Layering doesn't cause clumping, which is great. I have sensitive skin that's currently irritated, but this product didn't cause any further issues!! Very satisfied
ConsWhile it applies thinly, which is good, it doesn't cover redness or flushing even with layering, so you need to use concealer (this is the biggest drawback for me). The initial subtle glow turns a bit oily over time. It's not extreme, but those with oily skin should take note. Due to my redness, I find the coverage to be a bit weak
TipPersonally, I found that using a cushion puff helped apply it evenly. Since layering doesn't improve coverage, I recommend applying a thin layer and then using concealer where needed for a natural look!

It looks well-covered for about 10 minutes after applying with a cushion, but in bright light, it doesn't fully conceal acne scars. Those with good skin could achieve a pretty complexion with a thin application. Hydration: Overall, it's a hydrating foundation. Not quite semi-matte... Suitable for those who prefer moisturizing foundations in winter. As I'm oily year-round, hydrating foundations just reduce longevity for me, so I'm not a fan. Highly recommended for dry skin types! Staying power: Wearing a mask in and out of hot places created humidity... In these extreme conditions, after about 4 hours it broke down beautifully. As facial oils slightly emerged, it created a glow that made the skin look pretty. 4 hours - Good staying power 6 hours - Oil breakthrough 8 hours - Patchy in places Yellow undertone: Many foundations have a yellow tint.. like Ba*lietto or Etu*e... (mumbling) This foundation doesn't seem to have a yellow undertone. Of course, it may vary depending on individual skin, keep that in mind. I didn't notice any yellow cast from this product on my skin! It's closer to a pink tone. Packaging: Simple, compact, and nice~ Came well-packaged. It has a typical foundation pump! Texture/Scent: The texture is more fluid than thick! The scent is a stuffy cosmetic smell.. I don't like the smell of most base products, so this aspect seems unavoidable. Ingredients: Adding sun protection to base products inevitably makes the formula unstable~ Still, you can tell they've made an effort to focus on hydration!
ConsIt wasn't a product that seemed to work well with my extremely oily skin. These days, with masks on, it turns into an oil festival within hours. However, I think those with dry skin would be really satisfied with it!
TipFor those rich in dead skin cells, use an exfoliating toner thoroughly or use a pad to remove dead skin before application for a prettier complexion! In the photos, #1 is before application #2 is after application.

There's not really a distinct fragrance, but if I had to describe it, maybe... clay-like? It's a scent that's hard to put into words! Only those with a keen nose would pick up on this subtle fragrance! Coverage & Adherence: A little goes a long way - you can cover your entire face with just a small amount. The coverage is great, and it adheres to the skin beautifully! It even conceals red blemish marks well! If you apply it thinly and then pat on a bit more like a concealer, the marks practically disappear! Color: I used shade 21, and it matched my skin perfectly! When I compared it to other brands' shade 21, Rotrie's seems to be a bit brighter. Highly recommended for those with fair and clear complexions! Darkening & Breakdown: I didn't notice much darkening, but unfortunately, it broke down quite badly around my nose, inner cheeks, and chin - possibly due to mask-wearing. While my previous product would transfer onto my mask, it didn't break down as much as this one, despite its nice application.
ConsMoisture: This aspect was really disappointing. I have extremely dry patches, especially around my nose and cheeks. The makeup tended to flake in those areas. Interestingly, it applied beautifully on my forehead. If you have dry skin like me, make sure to apply a rich, hydrating base before using this product! Skin Irritation: I've only used it for about two days due to working from home. My skin hasn't worsened, so it doesn't seem to be particularly irritating! I'll update my review after using it for a few more days. Amount Control: One full pump dispenses way too much product! As mentioned earlier, a small amount provides sufficient coverage. The key is to control the amount when pumping!
TipIf you're currently using a product that's hydrating but too dark, try mixing it with this one! It'll boost both coverage and adherence! We all know how those super-moisturizing products tend to have poor staying power, right? This might be the solution!
