It seems not bad, though I'm not entirely sure. It's definitely less oily, but there's a bit of a stiff feeling to it. I'm still trying out various products, so it feels a bit premature to declare this one the best. - ch*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 28, 2022
It really makes blemishes disappear like magic. That's why I absolutely love it! Oh, there's hardly anything to complain about, haha! - hw******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2022
This would be great for people with oily skin. I bought it for around 30,000 won, and delivery took about 3-4 days. It doesn't lather well, and the smell is a bit unpleasant... Actually, the smell is quite off-putting. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 9, 2022
Folten is so well-known that there's not much to say, but I didn't experience any dramatic changes. Still, it seemed to prevent my condition from worsening. Ultimately, for seborrheic dermatitis, maintaining overall health in daily life seems to be the most crucial factor. The price-to-performance ratio is definitely on the expensive side, which is a bit disappointing. - yj*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 2, 2022
It seems effective for itching and dandruff. The irritation doesn't appear to be significant. It doesn't lather well, so you end up using more product. The shampoo feels a bit thick and heavy. - ju*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 15, 2022
If you're struggling with seborrheic dermatitis, you know the drill. Just give this a try! Say goodbye to silky hair... You'll definitely need to use a treatment afterward. Don't automatically assume a product is bad just because it contains so-called 'harmful' ingredients. If they were truly harmful, they wouldn't be approved for use in the first place. Looking back, that La*** chi shampoo I used when I didn't know better was personally the worst choice for me. Even after pre-washing, its gentle formula didn't cleanse my scalp effectively. For sensitive (seborrheic) scalps, it's not about avoiding 'bad' ingredients, but about using ingredients that your scalp actually needs. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2022
It seems to be gentle on the scalp and reduces hair loss during shampooing. The cleansing effectiveness is a bit weak, and it feels somewhat stiff when lathering, which is inconvenient. Instead of lathering directly, I create foam first using a foam maker, apply it, and then massage the scalp. This method seems to be more effective. - ry******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 29, 2021
The product I'm using has been redesigned, so the container shape is different. It's not the round tub shown in the product info, but comes in a container similar to a cleansing foam. As someone who has suffered from seborrheic dermatitis for over 10 years, my scalp condition is always poor. Every time I visit a salon, scalp care center, or dermatologist, they say it's rare to see a case this severe. While treatment is important, choosing the right daily shampoo is crucial, so I've tried various options. Currently, I'm alternating between Folten's shampoo for seborrheic dermatitis and Nizoral shampoo. It's important to use a shampoo with antifungal effects, but since you can't use strong shampoos like Nizoral daily, a gentler option for everyday use is necessary. Folten is suitable for daily use. After using it, I don't experience itchiness, and oil production is manageable. Compared to the men's line in the Folten shampoo range, I like that this one produces a richer lather. First off, it's expensive. While I understand that Folten has proprietary technology, it's undeniably pricier than other shampoos. Since it's focused on scalp care, it's inevitable that hair feels a bit drier after washing compared to regular shampoos. - le*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 20, 2021
✔️I recently purchased the newly renovated European version of this product. I've always had severe seborrheic dermatitis, which caused many blemishes. This led to touching my scalp and scabs forming. When I visited the hair salon, they would point out bald patches, making me worry about potential hair loss. After washing my hair in the morning, it would become greasy by 3-4 PM. ✔️For the first two weeks (14 days), I used Folten shampoo daily. For the first 3 days, I used a small amount and found it didn't lather well, so I started using more. On the 4th day, I tried double shampooing. One day, I used Folten shampoo first, rinsed, then used it again. The next day, I lightly rinsed with a regular shampoo before using Folten. ✔️Surprisingly, my hair didn't feel stripped after using Folten shampoo. After double shampooing, I was able to use an appropriate amount without overdoing it. ✔️The large blemishes started to shrink noticeably, even when touched. While the dramatic initial effects lessened over time as the blemishes became smaller, no new ones appeared. After about a month of use, they've all disappeared. ✔️After washing with Folten shampoo, my hair doesn't become greasy by 3-4 PM anymore. ✔️I'm very satisfied that the odor from my scalp has also disappeared. Personally, I'm not a fan of the price and scent. It's quite expensive for a shampoo brand, and the fragrance reminds me of the smell in barbershops. Double shampooing can help you reduce the amount of shampoo you use. - yu*******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 11, 2021
While I'm not sure if it cleanses well due to the lack of lather, it seems to be the gentlest on my scalp among all the shampoos I've tried so far Apart from the fact that it doesn't lather much, there doesn't seem to be anything particularly negative about it
