I decided to try it since I had a positive experience with Dr. Alga's low pH body wash. The scent is slightly minty (almost fragrance-free), and it has a slightly yellow, transparent gel texture. It produces a moderate amount of lather and has a low pH. I was surprised to notice less hair fall compared to regular shampoos.
Cons1. It seems to strip a bit of moisture, as I felt a slight dryness in my hair texture. 2. Its scalp oil-removing power is slightly less effective than regular shampoos. I didn't notice at first, but by the third day, I felt it, so I alternated it with other shampoos.

The fact that it doesn't lather excessively suggests it has good ingredients. I love how it cleanses thoroughly, right down to the scalp. The pump dispenser is convenient, and I appreciate that the packaging can be easily separated for recycling.
ConsWhile it's marketed as a functional shampoo for alleviating hair loss symptoms, it's a bit difficult to confirm its effectiveness in that regard. I suppose that's to be expected since it's not a medication. Still, I felt like I was shedding less hair, even if it might just be psychological.

It's not overpowering, but rather delicate and pleasant. Perhaps due to the menthol, there's a refreshing and invigorating feeling after shampooing. The lather is ample and clear. The cleansing effectiveness is satisfactory, and I didn't experience any particular discomfort during use. The container is a pump-type, and it seems designed with eco-friendliness in mind, making it easy to recycle. While I'm not yet sure about its specific effects, the ingredients are good, and overall, it seems to be a solid choice.
ConsCompared to other shampoos on the market these days, the quantity is smaller, and it's on the pricier side.

Head Odor As someone with an oily scalp, I often noticed my hair smelling by evening even after washing with other shampoos. But with this one, my scalp stayed fresh all day long - what a relief! 2. Fragrance It has a cool, minty scent~ Perfect for those hot summer days! 3. Packaging Many brands are moving towards eco-friendly packaging with separable bottles and plastic wraps, but some are still tricky to open. Dr. Alga nails it though! The clear bottle makes it easy to see how much is left, and the plastic wrap comes off effortlessly - so convenient! 4. Ingredients While my scalp isn't as sensitive as my face, I was still pleased to see no adverse reactions. The high-quality ingredients really put my mind at ease. 5. Texture The formula is quite runny, which means I tend to use a bit more than usual. 6. Cleansing Power I was worried it wouldn't cleanse well due to the lack of foam, but it actually works great! Unless you have extremely oily hair, this should do the job nicely.
Cons1. Lather It doesn't lather up as much as I'd like, so I end up using more product. I've already gone through a fifth of the bottle in just a week! 2. Volume Having used 500ml shampoos priced at 18,000 won (Dashu) and 400ml ones at 19,600 won (Dr. Groot), this 300ml bottle at 27,000 won feels a bit pricey. 3. Hair Loss Prevention While it's unrealistic to expect dramatic results in just a week, I haven't noticed any significant effects on hair loss yet. I'll update this point after finishing the bottle.
Tip- If you don't work up a lather in your hands first, it might not foam up well on oily scalps. It's a bit of extra effort, but try to create a good lather before applying it to your hair! - Despite the lack of foam, it actually cleanses quite well. If you prefer a foamier feel, try wetting your scalp thoroughly before shampooing.

The scent is slightly minty, which feels refreshing, and there's no seaweed smell at all. The foam is fine at first, but as you use more, it becomes rich and creamy like whipped cream - very nice! After washing, my hair feels clean and refreshed. There's no greasy feeling whatsoever. While I can't say for sure if it's helped with hair loss yet, it's definitely better than regular store-bought shampoos.
ConsYou need to pump quite a bit to get enough product out. Also, the bottle isn't very large, so you'll need to use it sparingly. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.
TipCompared to regular store-bought shampoos, this one feels gentler and more conscientious. The foam lathers up nicely into soft bubbles. Try massaging it into your scalp as if you're giving yourself a scalp massage - it feels incredibly refreshing and clean. It makes me feel like hair loss will be a thing of the past! I think I'll need to use it for about a month more to see full results.

With menthol as an ingredient, it has a refreshing peppermint scent and leaves you feeling invigorated after washing. Compared to the jojoba shampoo, my hair feels softer and more manageable after use. While it might seem a bit pricey for its size, even my parents liked it, so I'm considering repurchasing it separately. Also, although it could be seen as a drawback when pumping, the fact that it dispenses a smaller amount allows for more precise control over how much you use!
ConsThe main drawback seems to be the amount you get for the price. Even for a typical men's hairstyle, you need to pump 4-5 times, so it might run out quickly. Also, while the cooling sensation and refreshing feel from the menthol is nice, it may vary from person to person. If it gets in your eyes, it might sting a little.
TipI was already satisfied with the previous shampoo from the same company, but this one offers an even better user experience and leaves my hair feeling softer. Unless you have very dry hair, it makes your locks so soft that you might not even need to use conditioner.

Scent It has that classic anti-hair loss shampoo menthol scent, but it's not overpowering - just right. I didn't feel a cooling sensation on my scalp though. After washing, the scent is subtle, similar to Dr. Alga's Jojoba Tea Tree Shampoo. 2. Lather The texture is quite watery, but it lathers up nicely. Personally, I found it similar to Dr. Alga's Jojoba Tea Tree Shampoo. 3. Ingredients The ingredient list is the first thing I check, and I'm satisfied that this product doesn't contain any of the 20 ingredients to watch out for. 4. Recycling The packaging is easily separable for recycling, which shows their commitment to the environment - a big plus in my book.
Cons1. Pump Dispenser With Dr. Alga's Jojoba Tea Tree Shampoo, half a pump was enough, but with this one, you need about four pumps to get a sufficient amount. It dispenses very little each time. 2. Possible Dandruff Issue I think I've developed some dandruff since using this product. It's not noticeable normally, but if I shake my head deliberately, I can see tiny flakes falling - not big flakes, but very small ones. 3. Small Size I wish they offered a larger size option.
TipThe overall experience is very similar to Dr. Alga's Jojoba Tea Tree Shampoo. I don't have hair loss issues, and this review is after a short period of use, so I can't comment on its effectiveness for hair loss prevention.

(Scent) I love the fragrance! The crisp menthol scent gives an extra cooling effect, making it feel more refreshing. (Pumping) It dispenses less product compared to other shampoos I've used, about half the amount. This is great as it allows for better control of how much I use! (Hair loss reduction) A few weeks ago, I was shocked by sudden excessive hair loss. In a panic, I started scalp massages, hair loss treatments, and switched to this shampoo. While I'm not sure which had the most impact, I've definitely noticed less hair falling out! I'll need to use it longer to be sure, but so far I'm satisfied - it's gentle, cooling, and leaves my hair soft. Some anti-hair loss shampoos I've tried were harsh and drying, causing more hair loss. This one, however, is genuinely moisturizing - so much so that I don't even need conditioner! I think it might be due to the rosemary and jojoba oils. After washing, my hair feels silky and doesn't tangle when I dry it. It's so comfortable to use, I keep reaching for it. I think it's also reducing hair loss by preventing tangling both before and after washing.
ConsThe volume isn't as much as I expected! I have a feeling it might run out quickly. For those who use a lot of shampoo, it might be a bit annoying to pump multiple times. I usually do it three or four times. The ability to control the amount is both an advantage and a disadvantage, I suppose!

Unlike other anti-hair loss shampoos, it doesn't make my hair stiff but keeps it soft, which I love! With its strong menthol scent, I think it'll be refreshing to use even in summer. The ingredients are great to begin with, and I think the seaweed extract makes my hair even softer?
ConsThe downside is that the review period for The Hwahae Testers is only a week, so it's impossible to truly test it out and write an honest review in that time. I'll update my review after I've used up the whole bottle. Also, while the ingredients are good, it doesn't lather well, so you need to pump out quite a bit. The volume isn't that large either, so it might run out quickly.
TipAs someone with oily hair who usually washes every other day, I always do a double cleanse. The first wash barely lathers, but for the second wash, I shampoo properly and leave it on for at least 3 minutes before rinsing. That's when it feels really refreshing!

Cleansing effectiveness: For a gentle shampoo, it cleanses quite well. Hair doesn't get greasy until evening, though there's a slight scalp odor by then. Regarding hair loss, I'll need to use it longer to see results, but overall it's not bad.
ConsTexture: Transparent and very liquid-like, thin consistency. (Even thinner than the same brand's Jojoba Tea Tree shampoo I'm currently using) Due to its watery nature, I need to pump 2-3 times for a rich lather, even with short hair. Value for money: Quite pricey for the small amount you get.
TipFor better scalp exfoliation, it might be helpful to alternate this with another shampoo that has stronger cleansing power.
