Plus, it even helps with hair loss. The rich lather is very satisfying to use.
ConsPerhaps due to the lack of artificial fragrances, it's almost unscented. It seems natural scents just can't provide a lasting fragrance.
TipFor a more abundant lather, make sure to thoroughly wet your hair first!

Often, when a shampoo is good for the scalp, it can leave the hair feeling very rough, but this one seems to have a nice balance. The formula is quite thin, but it lathers well despite its consistency. It controls oil effectively without leaving the hair feeling dry, which I really appreciated. It felt like an upgraded version of Dr. Alga's Jojoba Tea Tree shampoo, addressing the dryness issue I experienced with that one.
ConsWhile we shouldn't expect too much from the fragrance of a scalp-focused shampoo, I do wish the scent lasted a bit longer. The thin consistency lathers surprisingly well, so you don't need to use a ton of product. However, the 300ml bottle feels a bit small - it would be great if they offered a larger size option.
TipFor best results with scalp shampoos, make sure to thoroughly wet your hair with lukewarm water, lather well, leave on for 3 minutes, then rinse!

It doesn't tangle when rinsing and leaves the hair feeling soft. I loved how silky my hair felt even after drying. The best part is that you don't need conditioner or treatment - combing through is smooth and easy. With its decent ingredients, it seems perfect for children to use.
ConsEverything's great, except... the fragrance doesn't seem to last long. It's subtle when your hair is damp, but once it's dry, it's almost like there's no scent at all.

Here's my candid review (I didn't even know it was being delivered!). It feels like it nourishes the hair so well that you don't need conditioner after shampooing. My scalp is super sensitive - products with harsh chemicals or those that strip too much oil make it dry and itchy. This product, however, was perfect for scalp care. Even the acne along my hairline disappeared! Due to my sensitive scalp, most regular shampoos don't work for me. I used to use Dove beauty bar as an all-in-one, but my hair became unmanageable. Then I mainly used Rausch products, but I had to endure the intense herbal scent... While it helped my scalp, it left my hair feeling stiff. This shampoo, on the other hand, has fine particles that create a soft lather, making it incredibly satisfying to use. It's the best in terms of user experience among anti-hair loss shampoos! Usually, when shampoo foam touches my hair, it feels like it's damaging it - like it's being 'laundered'. But this shampoo feels nourishing. I love that I can thoroughly cleanse my hair every night and go to bed feeling fresh. As a mint lover, I was pleased with the cool, subtle mint sensation during use.
ConsI'm so satisfied that I'd repurchase it with my own money - even more than some of my favorite international products. If I had to nitpick, it doesn't give that squeaky-clean oil-free feeling. My hair gets a bit oily in the afternoon. If fragrance is important to you, it might be a downside that there's no lingering floral scent after drying your hair. However, it doesn't have a strong medicinal smell like Rausch products. It's simply unscented. I tend to use a lot because I love how it creates a rich, fine lather. The texture of the foam is so nice that I end up playing with it like a big kid, working up loads of bubbles!
TipThis would be suitable for dry to combination skin types! If you have oily skin, I'd recommend a different line that removes more oil. Using this in combination with Innisfree No Sebum Powder was a perfect match for my combination skin!

My skin is dry, but my scalp fluctuates between normal and oily, and it's slightly sensitive. I often get blemishes too. The positive point is that the ingredients are gentle.
ConsUsage experience: To be honest, I can't say it feels great to use. Among the shampoos I've tried, it's similar to Aekyung Edelweiss shampoo. Typical of products with gentle ingredients, it doesn't lather up richly. However, if you pump out a lot, you can get a good lather. The scent is refreshing and cool when you smell it directly, but it fades while washing and there's absolutely no lingering fragrance after rinsing. This is actually great - who needs fragrance anyway? Scalp odor: My scalp tends to smell when I'm tired, and lately I've been noticing an odor at the crown every other day. If it's like this before summer even starts, I wonder how it'll be in summer? It seems this shampoo doesn't work well for oily scalps. Hair loss during the first week of adjustment: The cleansing effectiveness seems to be consistently incompatible with my scalp (not thorough enough). While I didn't get dandruff, I lost about twice as much hair as usual when washing. Fortunately, this stopped after a week. I'll need to keep an eye on it. I gathered the fallen hairs in the photo... losing 10 strands at a time made me wonder if this was a hair loss-inducing shampoo.

I was actually running low on my usual shampoo and wondering what to try next. I always choose my products based on Hwahae reviews. I've been concerned about losing a handful of hair every time I wash it. While I haven't tried a wide variety of shampoos, I do prioritize ingredients when selecting one. Here are my thoughts: The best part is that I'm losing less hair. While the difference isn't dramatic, it's noticeably less than with my previous shampoo. My hair is naturally quite dry, and I used to lose a scary amount when finger-combing in the shower. But with this product, my hair feels less brittle, both during and after washing. It's softer, and I didn't even need conditioner. There's also a slight cooling effect when washing, which is refreshing. It seems to cleanse my scalp well too - even if I skip a day, my scalp doesn't get greasy or itchy. The scent is a subtle minty, herbal fragrance. I noticed it uses eco-friendly packaging for the bottle and pump, and has good ingredients, which might explain the higher price point.
ConsWhile the product is good, the downside is the fragrance. Most of the 'clean' shampoos I've tried (brands like **Factory, Aro***, La*e**, Dal**, etc.) seem to have an herbal scent. I understand they avoid artificial fragrances to maintain the quality of ingredients, but the scent is very brief during washing and there's no lingering fragrance at all. It would be nice to have a pleasant scent that lasts a bit longer after washing - it's a shame to sacrifice fragrance for good ingredients. The consistency is like an essence, and it doesn't lather much. I've been using it for about 10 days, and even with three pumps, it doesn't lather well. I have to wet my hair, pump twice more, and then it finally lathers. For reference, I have shoulder-length hair. I know natural shampoos generally don't lather well, so that doesn't bother me, but I do wish the scent was better. I'll use up the bottle, but it does seem effective for hair loss, so it could be good for those looking for an anti-hair loss shampoo. I'm glad I got to try this good product through The Hwahae Testers. Once again, I'm happy I use Hwahae!

Many other hair loss treatments leave his hair feeling stiff after shampooing, but he says this one is great because it's gentle and non-irritating!
ConsThe scent doesn't seem too strong, and the fragrance doesn't linger long after shampooing.

It's also hard to tell if a shampoo suits you after just trying a sample once or twice. I have various scalp care products at home, but I was curious about this new product and decided to apply for it. Luckily, I was selected and got the chance to try a bottle of this anti-hair loss shampoo. Thank you for that! The shampoo's advantages: It's a functional anti-hair loss shampoo, 300ml for 27,000 won. I searched on Naver and found prices as low as the late 10,000 won range, making it quite affordable to use regularly. The texture is like water or a mix of aloe and water. It's transparent and seems to have no fragrance. I don't like overly artificial scents, so I appreciate that it's fragrance-free. It lathers well. The feel is similar to natural and organic shampoos I've tried before. As an anti-hair loss shampoo, it has good cleansing power and leaves my scalp feeling refreshed. It's not a cooling sensation, just a clean feeling after use. The best part is that after use, my hair doesn't feel very stiff when drying. It also adds shine to my hair. I thought it might be because I usually take good care of my scalp, but I think the shampoo contains ingredients that soften the hair after use. It's not like a treatment, but it seems sufficient on its own for summer use or for those with short hair. I noticed seaweed in the ingredients list, which might contribute to the softness. For reference, I intentionally didn't use any treatment when trying this shampoo. The attached photo shows my hair after drying, using only this shampoo.
ConsWhen using it, there's a smell similar to a medicated patch, which might not be pleasant for everyone. However, I liked that the scent doesn't linger after use.
TipIf you're worried about losing volume or your roots falling flat, this shampoo alone might be enough without needing a treatment.

After trying various products without much success, I came across this shampoo and decided to give it a shot based on its anti-hair loss claims. The formula is transparent and slightly runny, but not so much that it drips everywhere. The standout feature of this shampoo is how smooth and manageable it leaves your hair throughout the washing process - it's the gentlest I've ever used. Usually, with other shampoos, especially pH-balanced ones, your hair feels stiff even while rinsing. Now, for the million-dollar question about hair loss improvement... To be honest, after two weeks of use, I haven't seen any dramatic changes. However, my scalp feels refreshed and soothed after each wash, which makes me believe that with consistent use, it could potentially show some positive results.
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing. I was expecting a subtle fragrance, but when I started shampooing, I thought, 'What's this?' It's a strong, sharp scent - somewhat minty or pine-like, but not quite. Fortunately, the smell doesn't linger after rinsing. Given the intense fragrance, I anticipated a cooling sensation on my scalp like some other brands offer, but that wasn't the case. Personally, I would have preferred if it had that cooling effect. Also, it doesn't lather up easily. As someone with long hair, I found myself pumping the bottle about five times to get a satisfactory amount of foam.
TipI've found a technique that works well: I pump about three times initially, rub it between my palms vigorously, apply it to my hair, and do a quick wash. Then I pump some more for a thorough cleanse, massaging my scalp as I go. This method seems to be effective. Pro tip: If you work up the lather in your hands before applying, you'll get much more foam out of each pump.
