Olive Young recommended a few hyaluronic acid products for my dry skin that needed hydration, so I bought one of them. Using the dropper, I apply a few drops and pat it in to absorb. It has a sticky consistency that makes your palms and skin stick together momentarily. It absorbs well, and once it's absorbed, even my hair doesn't stick to my face. As someone with dry skin, I usually experience flaking even in summer, but after using this, the flaking seems to have disappeared. When I tested the sample, I was wearing a mask so I didn't notice, but when I applied it to my face, the fragrance was so strong it made my nose burn. It's an extremely artificial scent that gave me a slight headache until I got used to it. I was very surprised as I've never used a skincare product with such an overpowering scent before. If I had known about this scent, I wouldn't have purchased it regardless of how effective the product is - that's how off-putting the fragrance is. On the second day, I noticed some small bumps appearing all over my face, though I'm not sure if it's because of this product. I plan to use it for a few more days, but I have no intention of repurchasing. I recommend smelling the product before purchasing to see if you can tolerate the fragrance. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 11, 2021
I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but I feel like the redness has subsided and my skin feels firmer and more supple. I usually struggle with dead skin cells, but they're noticeably reduced! I got to try this through a Hwahae event, and I'm more satisfied than I expected. The texture is rich, so it feels a bit sticky when applying, but it absorbs well quickly without any discomfort. I'd definitely consider repurchasing! I was surprised by how strong the fragrance is... It's much more intense than I anticipated. Also, if you apply it when your skin is dry, it can cause a tingling sensation. On nights when I use this before bed, my face feels irritated and itchy, making it hard to sleep. However, my skin does look better the next day. I wonder if there's something unusual about my skin... - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2021
My eyelids and cheeks are particularly sensitive, so it's rare to find a suitable skincare product. This one didn't cause any tingling and absorbed well with a nice, firm texture! The dropper is a bit awkward to use, and there's a slight stickiness right after application! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2021
When I applied it before bed, I noticed my skin felt firmer and more elastic when I woke up. It also seemed to help improve my complexion. The texture is quite dense and rich. It adheres to the skin quickly when you spread it, giving a nice, firm feel. Wow, the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong. It's irritating every time I apply it, and the scent lingers for hours, triggering headaches. Unsurprisingly, fragrance is listed among the 20 caution ingredients, along with PEG. I wonder if adding fragrance was really necessary. The packaging is also disappointing. The dropper is awkward to use. Unlike the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Serum or Cellimac Noni Ampoule containers, which automatically fill the dropper, this one is manual. Even then, it's stiff and difficult to control the amount with your fingers. Most importantly, if you have even the slightest blemish or wound, it stings terribly when applied. It's so painful that it makes those 'stinging serums' seem mild in comparison. The stinging sensation makes me hesitant to use it regularly. I recommend applying this product like you would with Eucerin Repair Cream or Urea Cream. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 19, 2021
I had high hopes for Eucerin due to its positive image and antioxidant claims. While it didn't work out for me, there were some positives: 1. The texture is rich and absorbs well, leaving the skin feeling hydrated. 2. The fragrance is quite strong, but I personally loved it as it's my preferred scent. 1. Surprisingly, I experienced a tingling sensation on my cheekbones, even though I didn't have any blemishes or wounds there. Unfortunately, after using it for a week, the burning sensation was too much for me to continue. Even when I gave it to my mom to try, she also found it irritating. It's worth noting that this was my first time using a Vitamin C product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 15, 2021
I'm writing this review after receiving the product as a winner of the Hwahae Testers program. First off, I love that it's not overly runny. There's a slight stickiness when you apply it, but it quickly disappears as you pat it in! My skin feels so supple and it's amazing. My skin was previously damaged from using the wrong cleansing products, but it recovered quickly after using this. My skin type tends to get dry easily in winter, often flaking, but that hasn't happened since I started using this! The only downside is a slight tingling sensation when applying... But I think it's just because it touched some unhealed blemishes, so I didn't worry too much about it. Also, the scent might be divisive... It's a bit too strong, perhaps? It feels so hydrating and wonderful when applied after morning cleansing or after removing makeup and cleansing in the evening! - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 10, 2021
When applied, it makes the skin feel firm and absorbs quickly Possibly due to the ingredients, it can cause a tingling sensation when skin is not in good condition - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 8, 2021
I'm sharing my experience after winning the chance to try this product as part of the Hwahae Testers program. I really liked that it comes with a dropper, allowing you to apply it directly to your face without touching it with your hands. Though it's transparent with a yellow tint, which made me a bit worried it might be oily, it actually absorbed into my skin with a nice, firm texture. After application, my face had a subtle glow. As someone who usually sticks to gentle products, using this functional skincare item after a while made me feel like it was really effective. I hesitate to call this a downside, but the fragrance was quite strong. I'm used to using mostly unscented products, so for a moment it reminded me of hair essence. The scent itself was luxurious and not unpleasant. I think men might have mixed reactions to the fragrance. In conclusion, even if you only apply this as your final step, you won't feel dry. However, since it's an essence with a thin consistency, it might be good to layer a cream on top during the harsh winter months.
