If you're looking for instant brightening, I recommend Eucerin AOX Essence. After cleansing, I skip toner and apply it directly. The AHA ingredient naturally removes dead skin cells, and hyaluronic acid absorbs well to provide hydration. The vitamin C derivative seems to brighten the skin tone, and I experienced an immediate whitening effect! It's like... turning on a light for your skin. Plus, when used as night care after a day of heavy sun exposure, I felt a slight tingling in some areas. Apparently, this sensation is part of the process of inhibiting melanin production. Anyway, it's great for skin brightening! It reduces dark spots and freckles, and even helps prevent them. For me, it's the best essence. I just wish the price would come down a bit. This is definitely a product I stock up on during Olive Young sales! While this essence is sufficient in the current weather, it might not provide enough moisture during the harsh winter months. Due to its high vitamin C content, it may be a bit irritating for sensitive skin types. I recommend patch testing before use. Some say the denatured alcohol scent is strong, but I actually like the citrusy fragrance. The drawbacks are so significant that I can't think of any positives. I probably won't buy this again. As soon as I applied it, I felt a sharp stinging sensation on my face and had to quickly wash it off. I have concerns about wrinkles and extremely dry skin. The texture is like a runny nose - not too watery, but not too thick either! It's a slightly heavier serum, so you can feel a good amount of moisture when applied. The best part about using this product is its effect on pores! I'm not sure if it's solely because of this or a combination of factors, but I think this product plays a role. My pores used to be quite large, to the point where I needed a pore primer for makeup. Now, they've shrunk so much that I can apply makeup without a primer - I'm absolutely thrilled with this improvement! The scent is the most disappointing aspect. It has an artificial cosmetic fragrance that might be uncomfortable for those sensitive to smells. This is a product I've been using consistently. At first, it felt a bit tingly, but it got better with continued use. Applying it every evening seems to make my face look more radiant. I'm quite satisfied with this product. The finish feels a bit tacky? I'm not a fan of sticky finishes, so after applying this, I follow up with a hydrating cream that absorbs well.

I think I'll just use it on my neck and other areas, not my face. Even though I have healthy skin, it stings... Small blisters like fluid-filled bumps are popping up all over. The scent isn't as strong as other reviews mentioned. The packaging is inconvenient with a push button on top of the dropper, and you can't see inside the container... This might be the worst functional skincare product I've ever tried. Won't repurchase, won't recommend. Don't pay full price for this!

It's quite clean - The antioxidant effects might need to be observed over time to fully appreciate! Typical of antioxidant essences: You might feel it's pricey for the amount you get. However, I was about to buy one twice as expensive, so I don't have many regrets. There are so many high-priced products in this category, unfortunately. I'm using Eucerin for the first time and I'm quite pleased with it. One of the best features is the dropper. At first, I found it unusual and took some getting used to, but as I continued using it, I realized it dispenses just the right amount for a single application, which is actually quite convenient. After applying, it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, which I love. For me, it doesn't feel sticky, but rather provides the right level of moisture and absorbs well into my skin. While the ingredients list could be improved, I'm relieved that it hasn't caused any blemishes. It offers decent hydration, which is great, but if you have dry skin, you might need to follow up with a cream after use. The fragrance is quite strong. Personally, I like it, but if you're not a fan of artificial scents, it might be quite bothersome. Also, considering the amount you get, it's a bit on the pricey side.
