  Pros

  This is fantastic for combination dehydrated skin that gets super dry in winter! It's not overly creamy but provides amazing hydration. The texture flows like water and doesn't feel sticky at all. The best part? It helped clear up some of my small blemishes!

  Cons

  Those with oily skin might find it a bit rich for summer use. That's why I personally avoid using it during the warmer months...

  Pros

  I've tried various skin emulsions, but always struggled with deep dryness and a tight feeling. Then I discovered Real Barrier Extreme Cream, which I absolutely love as a moisturizer. So, I decided to try their skin toner and ampoule too! Both the toner and ampoule have a slightly thicker consistency than water, making them easy to apply. They absorb well into the skin without any sticky feeling, eliminating that tight sensation. It's been great! I was worried about the scent since some people dislike it, but it didn't bother me at all. It's the kind of fragrance you might not even notice if you're not paying attention. I usually get occasional blemishes, but after a month of use, my skin has remained clear and in good condition.

  Cons

  As mentioned above, some people might not like the fragrance. Also, I'm not sure if it's because of wearing a mask, but in the afternoon, I notice a slight oiliness around my cheeks and nose area.

  Tip

  If you have dry skin, I think using the entire Real Barrier line from toner to cream could help you get through fall and winter without any dryness.

  Skin type: Combination, combination dehydrated skin, very dry in winter with excessive oil production, acne-prone skin Application: Glides on smoothly and absorbs well Absorption: Maintains hydration, for combination skin it's not bad if you only use this one product for moisture First off, this product's application isn't bad at all~ It spreads smoothly and feels like it's absorbing with a hydrating effect. When I use just this, my skin actually looks more moisturized, and it seems to help my makeup adhere better, which I like!

  Recommended for: Dry skin, combination dehydrated skin However, since I have combination skin, if I layer on other heavily moisturizing or highly concentrated products, it can lead to excessive oiliness. So if you're using this product, I wouldn't recommend using other products that are very hydrating or highly concentrated alongside it.

  Pros

  I love that there's no dryness after applying this product. The dropper makes it easy to control the amount. After application, my skin feels firm and plump, and the next day my complexion has a beautiful glow!

  Cons

  As I have slightly oily skin, I can feel the richness of the product. It's a shame the bottle is so small.

  I used this product without any expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! The biggest advantage for me was how it tackled my deep dryness. Previously, I only applied essence toner and gel moisturizer, but my skin still felt dry every time I put on makeup. However, after using this ampoule consistently for two weeks, I could really feel the difference in combating that deep dryness. My makeup didn't dry out either, which made me extremely satisfied with this product!

  As someone with dry skin, I didn't find any particular downsides. However, since it's a cream ampoule, it does have a rich texture that might feel a bit oily for those with oily skin types.

  Tip

  I applied it in the order of toner, ampoule, and gel cream. In the evening, I pumped the ampoule twice, and in the morning, I used between half to one full pump. I found this routine really effective in addressing my deep dryness issues.

Exceptional hydration As the ampoule version of the Extreme Cream, which is known for its superior moisturizing properties in the Real Barrier cream line, this product truly delivers outstanding hydration. Despite some reviews mentioning it might cause small blemishes, I applied only a small amount since I have combination dehydrated skin. Even with this minimal application, I didn't experience any skin tightness or dryness. 2. No blemish triggers Often, products with such great moisturizing effects can be a nightmare for sensitive combination dehydrated skin types if not applied correctly. I was really worried about developing cystic acne or small blemishes, but I'm relieved to say there were none, so I've been applying it with peace of mind. 3. Simplifies skincare routine While many people typically follow a skincare routine of toner - essence/serum - cream, after using this product, I've been able to skip the cream step! That's how effective its hydration is. While I'm not sure about those with dry skin, people with combination dehydrated skin probably won't need to apply an additional cream.

  1. Rich texture (not a light formula) Since I don't have many complaints, if I had to pick one, it would be the rich texture. If you prefer a light, fresh ampoule formula, I wouldn't particularly recommend this product. It leaves a slight rich feeling, giving your skin a soft, velvety sensation after application. 2. Dropper packaging From a hygiene perspective, I'm not a big fan of dropper-type packaging. I think a pump dispenser might have been a better choice. 3. Limited effect on blemish soothing I had high hopes after reading a recommendation claiming it completely cleared up small blemishes, but I didn't experience such dramatic results.

  The hydration is excellent. It applies more smoothly than the Real Barrier Extreme Cream. Being a cream-ampoule, it's not the typical runny ampoule we usually think of. The moisturizing effect lasts for a long time.

  Cons

  It causes small bumps. I'm not sure if it's because my skin is super sensitive or if the ampoule is too rich, but I stopped using it after developing a few small blemishes.

  I'm thrilled to have won the chance to try Real Barrier's newly launched Extreme Cream Ampoule as part of The Hwahae Testers. Now I have the mist, ampoule, and cream - the whole set! The standout feature of this product is its amazing texture. As we transition into drier seasons, my skin tends to get parched. But using the ampoule with the mist means I don't even need to worry about dead skin cells around my nose - my makeup goes on flawlessly! Recently, my skin has been exposed to a brutal routine for about two months. I've been dealing with a lot of blemishes, especially acne, and due to my age, my skin isn't regenerating as quickly as it used to. This has led to severe redness all over. As someone who's never had much going for them looks-wise except for clear skin, I was really upset to see all these little marks appearing, worried they might be permanent. However, when I applied this to the scars left by acne, I noticed it reinforced my skin barrier, providing just the right amount of hydration. It seems to be ideal for removing acne scars and supporting the natural healing process. It's also great at moisturizing areas prone to dead skin cells, like around my nose, which I haven't been able to care for properly lately. With over 10,000 ppm of ceramides and panthenol, it provides excellent surface hydration. It's such a high-performance product that it could easily replace a cream. Being lighter than a cream, I'll likely use it all over before makeup during fall and winter. I actually prefer oilier skincare to dealing with flaky skin, so I usually go for heavier base products and semi-matte foundations. This fits perfectly into my skincare routine, but I find myself using it sparingly as an ampoule because I can see the amount decreasing quickly! Lately, I've been using it as a night eye care treatment and spreading it all over my face. It feels especially good around my eyes. It's not too oily or heavy, but it maintains my skin barrier moisture well, so I highly recommend it. Real Barrier's unique MolTaCross ingredient, which mimics the cross-shaped structure, is one of its standout features that I strongly recommend! Especially, the complex of panthenol, madecassoside, and allantoin extracts works wonders in soothing sensitive skin and is a perfect match for my complexion. I hope Real Barrier quickly becomes a global brand!

  Cons

  As it's a product with some oil content, it's good at managing dead skin cells, but it can cause makeup around the nose to clump up a bit. However, this can be easily fixed with a quick touch-up. Also, since it's in ampoule form, it's a bit disheartening to see how quickly the amount decreases.

  Tip

  My skin has recently transformed into completely blemish-prone skin. Originally, I had skin with no blemishes at all, but now it's in the worst possible condition due to exposure to external harmful factors and not being able to cleanse off makeup for two months. It's best to think of it as troubled skin. I usually provide deep hydration with low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid. My ideal skincare routine involves balancing skin's oil and moisture levels by providing appropriate inner and outer hydration without being too heavy. The synergy is great when I use hyaluronic acid products for inner hydration and Real Barrier for outer moisture.
