[Hands: extremely dry, Feet: dry, Lips: extremely dry, Scalp: oily, Face: combination dehydrated, Body: dry] [Complexion: between 23 and 24, Concerns: makeup settling into under-eye wrinkles, lip line discoloration, brown dark circles, good skin texture but visible pores, minimal blemishes but severe redness on cheekbones] • The fragrance is very subtle and pleasant - definitely not a deal-breaker! • It has a nice consistency that doesn't run too quickly • Absorbs beautifully into the skin • Sinks in rapidly • Glides on smoothly, initially feeling a bit rich, but once absorbed, it leaves a soft finish without any stickiness • No blemishes, redness, or irritation experienced • As someone with combination dehydrated skin, it worked well for me in the evenings during summer, and both morning and night in spring • A little goes a long way, so the product lasted quite a while I honestly can't think of any downsides. It suited my combination dehydrated skin perfectly. (For reference, my husband has dry skin and dislikes heavy products, but he found this sufficient as an all-in-one moisturizer during summer.) - ps***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2025
No tingling or irritation When applied before bed, skin looks better in the morning The only downside is the small amount for the price Nothing particularly disappointing - ha*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2025
This product falls somewhere between a toner and an essence, living up to its name as a "cream ampoule". It applies smoothly and provides great hydration. The scent is subtle enough that you hardly notice it while using. It's perfect for daily use, both morning and night. The dropper-style packaging is different from other cosmetics, and I find it difficult to control the amount dispensed. When I want just a little more, even a gentle squeeze releases too much product, which is quite inconvenient. While it's moisturizing and not overly sticky, it doesn't give that instant absorption feeling. The product seems to work hard at providing hydration without being too heavy. It might be suitable for combination dehydrated skin types looking for a balanced moisturizer. However, the packaging design could be improved for better control over product dispensing. - aa*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 19, 2025
Real Barrier products seem to be trustworthy when it comes to hydration. This one absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. It's not necessarily a downside, but the consistency is quite fluid - it's thin enough to slowly drip. Just something to keep in mind. It would work best if applied after toner in your skincare routine. - ke*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
When my skin was super dry, feeling like a desert and in pain, this product came to my rescue like an emergency service! I tried it once at my sister's place, and it calmed my skin right away. So I immediately bought my own. It's my go-to serum now. Layering it multiple times makes my skin incredibly hydrated. If you apply it too thickly, it can cause pilling with makeup. You need to make sure it absorbs thoroughly! Using an ultrasonic skincare device to help it absorb works even better! It's a holy grail product if you apply a thin layer once or twice and let it absorb. It works amazingly well with a water-based toner. But be careful, the runny texture can cause makeup to pill! - bl**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
My skin is dry, but it's also sensitive and prone to blemishes if there's even a slight increase in oil. I used up every last drop of this product! Planning to repurchase. I bought it along with the toner from the same line. Unlike the toner, I prefer the serum to have a richer texture! The best part is that it gives you a feeling of intense nourishment in one go. On days when I feel my skin might be a bit oilier, I adjust by using it with a watery toner! Make sure to massage it in well for proper absorption. For those with oily skin, I recommend using it with a lightweight toner or applying it in thin layers! It's not unusable, but there are mornings when it feels a bit heavy, so I mainly use it in my evening routine. On dry days, I start with the toner from the same line for evening out skin texture, then layer it again, followed by a generous amount of serum all the way down to my neck! Don't be stingy with it! It absorbs incredibly well! Then I apply another layer of serum! I finish with a thin layer of cream. For a perfect finish that's neither too heavy nor too light, try mixing the rich cream with the serum in a 1:1 ratio and applying it in a thin layer! - uj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
Hello there! I'm a lady in her late forties with extremely dry skin. I tried the Real Barrier Pore Tightening Ampoule before and loved it, so I decided to buy this product that's also great for very dry skin. I was a bit skeptical since I heard about it on YouTube, but I'm happy to confirm it's not just hype! This is truly revolutionary - my skin feels incredibly moisturized and doesn't flake at all. I used to use Mamonde Liquid Mask, which was fine for summer but too drying for winter, leaving me constantly searching for the right skincare. But now I've found this precious gem! If you have extremely dry skin, this is an absolute must-have! Even though I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes or tingling sensation. In fact, the Mamonde Liquid Mask was way too harsh and painful for me (especially now that my skin barrier is compromised). In conclusion: there are no downsides. It's absolutely perfect. When used with a home device (like the Medicube Booster Healer), it really absorbs deeply into the skin. - kk*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedJan 17, 2025
The application feels like a wave of hydration, and it absorbs well. It sinks into the skin immediately. I highly recommend this for those with dry skin. Towards the end of use, perhaps due to the dropper design, it became difficult to dispense. I had to tap it onto my palm to use it. Apart from this issue, I didn't find any other drawbacks. - ki********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 15, 2025
I love Real Barrier's face masks so much that I bought their ampoule too. Personally, I found it slightly richer than the essence in the face masks. It's hydrating and even though I have combination dehydrated skin, it didn't make my face look greasy at all! There's nothing particularly bad, but it doesn't absorb instantly. You need to give it enough time to sink in properly. - 5q********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 15, 2024
The absorption is fantastic - it just glides on so smoothly! I absolutely love this product. I'm on my 6th bottle now. My skin is super sensitive, so I couldn't use anything but Zeroid before. But after discovering this, it's been a game-changer! I can't stress enough how amazing it is. It has truly transformed my skin. My complexion has never been better. Pro tip: It's cheaper if you buy it on Coupang! The scent isn't great... It has a strong medicinal smell, which was off-putting at first.
