It seems to be really effective in the winter. It can also be used on the body, not just the face.
ConsIt's currently the cold winter season, so when I arrived, the oil was a bit solidified. Other people are using it as well, but the scent is a bit disappointing. I thought I would get used to the woody fragrance, but I never fully adapted to it.

However, since the ingredients seemed good and it seemed versatile, I decided to give it a shot. I mixed it into my moisturizer, and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't feel overly oily or greasy, which I really liked.
ConsIt was fine for me since I'm not sensitive to fragrance and don't like strong scents, but for those who enjoy fragrance, it might be better to take that into consideration.

ConsTamanu oil has a distinctive strong scent, but I didn't experience any discomfort while using it.

Tamanu oil is good for inflammation. So, since I sometimes get acne, my eye and lip areas are extremely dry, and I have internal dryness, I finish my skincare routine with this oil. Ah, it doesn't feel sticky at all. It absorbs completely and leaves a wonderful finish. I switched to another Tamanu oil when it was on sale, but the unpleasant scent and sticky feel made me stop using it after just two times...my money, ugh. At the end of your skincare routine, you can mix a couple of drops of the oil into your cream and apply it, letting it absorb. I use it a bit more, so I go through it faster than expected. The scent is a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but for me, the natural aroma is fantastic! As someone who dislikes the synthetic fragrance of cosmetics, this scent brings me a sense of calm.
ConsThe price, I must say. It was a bit burdensome even when it was 38,000 won, but it has gone up. It's probably due to the raw material costs, but it's still a burden.
TipMix it into your cream and apply it, letting it absorb, for a moisturized, smooth skin finish

I'm using it mixed with the Laneige Moisture Cream, and it's not heavy. Even a small amount can provide good moisturizing effects.
ConsSince it's an oil, there can be a slight itchy feeling. (This is not an issue for my skin, as it reacts this way to any oil.) The price is on the expensive side, and the oil tends to freeze in cold weather. Being a natural product, this is unavoidable.
TipMixing the Laneige Moisture Cream with a drop of the oil creates a protective layer on the skin, reducing dryness!

After wearing a mask, my face becomes bumpy and uneven. Even the slightest rubbing or irritation causes redness, and in dry environments, it becomes itchy and spreads around when touched. While I don't get acne, my skin is very finicky. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, I've had to wear masks constantly, making my face extremely sensitive. Applying anything would cause breakouts... But using Laneige Bio-Essence Oil and Laneige Moisture Cream has helped improve my skin. I usually get reactions from using oils, but the Laneige Bio-Essence Oil has reduced redness and breakouts. I'm very satisfied with the results.
ConsThe only downside is that when I apply it near my eyes, it stings a bit. I try to avoid applying it too close to my eyes as much as possible.
TipOn dry, sensitive, and tired skin days, using the Laneige Moisture Cream together is just perfect!

Even in the winter, if I use a heavily moisturizing cream, it may feel greasy at first, but later on, I tend to get some clogged pores. The Rang Bio oil was something I originally bought to use only in the winter, but I found that by applying it with my palms to control the amount, it can also work for my oily skin. The oil has a good amount of nourishment without feeling overly greasy. I had a positive experience using another tamanu oil for scar care before, so I decided to try this Rang oil as well, even though I don't currently have any pressing skin concerns.
ConsWhile I don't have dry skin per se, I do find the moisturizing power to be slightly lacking at times... I usually apply 4-5 drops onto my palms, rub them together, and then press it into my face. But in the dead of winter, I do feel like it's just a tad bit insufficient. What's more, when I apply it separately to my cheeks and forehead (rather than covering my whole eye area), over time it seems to get into my eyes, causing them to become quite painful and watery. I had originally purchased it thinking it could be a multi-purpose base, but I'm hesitant to use it as a mist-like spray, as I'm worried it will just irritate my eyes even more. This eye issue is a real concern for me, so I'll likely just use up what I have this winter, and then reconsider whether to repurchase or look for something else.

Cons1. Stinging sensation when applied When I applied it, my eyes felt stinging, and I even asked my husband who was using it with me, and he said his eyes felt stinging too. Even though I tried to avoid the eye area, it still stung, so I ended up stopping use. 2. Fragrance The fragrance has a traditional herbal scent, which may be divisive.

Even after applying the oil, there is no trouble at all, and the moisturizing feeling has increased. It feels like the nutrition is well coated, so I think it would be good to use it consistently. Just mixing in a drop gives a highly moisturizing effect.
ConsThe scent is really bad, but I'm still using it. It might be good for the face, right? I'm brainwashing myself that it has a nutty smell.
TipI mix in a drop to the cream for the finishing touch. When you want high moisture, apply a drop directly to your face.

After using it for a week, it's not perfect, but it manages to hydrate and soothe my skin adequately. I didn't experience any breakouts or troubles after using it!
ConsWhile the oil lasts a long time once purchased, it was burdensome in terms of cost, and I didn't see the expected effects like sebum control.
TipYou can mix the toner and a few drops of oil in a mist bottle and use it conveniently.
