Thanks to its slightly acidic formula, my skin felt less tight after cleansing. I don't have any particular complaints. I was quite satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2025
I loved how there was no dryness after using the cleansing milk followed by this product This is the only product I've changed recently, but I've been getting periodic blemishes lately. I think this might be causing the breakouts. It seems my skin doesn't agree with it - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinApr 18, 2025
It's literally a gel product as the name suggests. I haven't experienced any irritation while using it, and I'm enjoying it so far. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight or overly dry, which is nice. I have dry skin, so if I use the wrong cleanser, it can make my skin even drier and cause blemishes, but I haven't had that feeling with this one yet. Although I haven't been using it for long, I really like it! So far, I don't have any particular complaints. It seems like a product that can be used comfortably without any issues. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2025
My skin feels less dry after cleansing, and it seems quite hydrating! It's a bit ambiguous... It doesn't leave my skin feeling squeaky clean. I was surprised when I developed some redness after using it. I think I need to try it a few more times to be sure. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 30, 2025
I bought this with my own money and I'm almost done with the whole bottle. The main advantage is that it's gentle and didn't cause any irritation. The foam is pretty decent too. After cleansing, I didn't experience any tingling or burning sensation. I barely felt any dryness. There was no tight feeling after washing, and my skin felt smooth and soft. The cleansing effectiveness seems a bit weak. After cleansing, it looked like the sebum was still there, almost unchanged. It feels insufficient to use this alone. It might be okay for morning cleansing only. Still, I probably won't repurchase it. Also, I felt like my skin became oily again quite quickly. The scent was a bit odd too. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMar 20, 2025
As someone with dry, sensitive, and eczema-prone skin, I'm impressed that this cleanser doesn't leave my face feeling tight after washing. There's no irritation, redness, stinging, or itching - absolutely no discomfort at all. It's perfect for daily use as a gentle, go-to cleanser. The foam doesn't lather up well unless you use a silicone cleansing brush. If you're trying to remove makeup, one cleanse isn't enough - you'll need to double cleanse for thorough removal. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2024
Since I heard gel cleansers are better for dry skin than foam, I switched to gel a few years ago. It definitely feels less drying than foam cleansers. As someone who buys products based on ingredients, I tried Dr.G. While I'm not sure about its cleansing effectiveness since I only use it on makeup-free days or occasionally in the mornings, I also use it as a final step after removing makeup with oil. Some dermatologists recommend removing sunscreen with oil, while others say a gentle foam cleanser is fine. Personally, I feel more at ease using oil for mineral sunscreens that seem to sink into pores. I still get blemishes sometimes when using this cleanser, so I don't stick to it exclusively. Once I finish a bottle, I switch to something else. Gel cleansers aren't really meant for deep cleansing, so there aren't any particular drawbacks. The packaging stays clean until you've used it all up, making it worth trying at least once. Make sure your hands are clean, and work up a generous lather by massaging thoroughly. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2024
After trying various low pH cleansers, I chose this pump-type one due to its reputation for being gentle! It has multiple antibacterial properties and is so hydrating that it doesn't cause deep dryness for my combination dehydrated skin, which I love. There's a slight dish soap-like scent that's a bit bothersome, but it's tolerable since it washes away completely. The pump is a tad short, so it's a bit inconvenient having to add water to use up the last bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 30, 2024
The gentle pH is great for sensitive skin, causing no irritation. It also provides excellent hydration. While it varies between products, occasionally there's a slight artificial scent. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinDec 17, 2024
The cleansing effectiveness is great and it feels moisturizing, so it doesn't seem to burden the skin. After cleansing, there's no feeling of dryness or irritation. It works even better with a cleansing device, so I've settled on this as my double-cleansing gel. I recommend it for combination dehydrated skin or those with sensitive skin and combination skin types. For those with extremely dry skin, it might feel a bit drying during winter. I think it works best when used for double cleansing with a device after using a cleansing water for the first step!
