I used to wash my face twice a day with a basic alkaline cleansing foam I had at home, not really caring about skincare. Then one day, my skin became red and irritated. After that, I started looking into proper skincare and learned that cleansing foams can be either mildly acidic or mildly alkaline. Even for oily skin, it's recommended to use a mildly acidic cleanser, which led me to purchase this product. Pros: The pump bottle makes it convenient to use, and the product is definitely gentle. After cleansing, there's no tingling or deep dryness, which I appreciate. It seems suitable for those with dry or super sensitive skin! Cons: Being a gel type, it doesn't lather well, and the scent was disappointing. It's not overpowering, but it has an artificial smell reminiscent of packaging. The cleansing effectiveness is also weak, leaving my skin feeling slippery. I used it when I only had excess oil, but for combination dehydrated skin, I'd recommend a mildly acidic cleansing foam with stronger cleansing power. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 31, 2024
After trying various low pH cleansers, I chose this pump-type one due to its reputation for being gentle! It has multiple antibacterial properties and is so hydrating that it doesn't cause deep dryness for my combination dehydrated skin, which I love. There's a slight dish soap-like scent that's a bit bothersome, but it's tolerable since it washes away completely. The pump is a tad short, so it's a bit inconvenient having to add water to use up the last bit. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 30, 2024
The gentle pH is great for sensitive skin, causing no irritation. It also provides excellent hydration. While it varies between products, occasionally there's a slight artificial scent. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 2, 2024
A true holy grail product I've been using for over 5 years! I must have gone through about 20 bottles by now. It's incredibly gentle and works wonders for my skin. Unfortunately, the fragrance has changed for the worse since they reformulated it. It used to have a lovely orange scent, but now it smells a bit artificial. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2024
I switched from Vichy to Dr.G products for easier purchasing, and I'm pleasantly surprised that I can hardly tell the difference - it's working just as well! The gel formula transforms into a foam when mixed with water. I appreciate that it doesn't create excessive lather, which is a nice bonus. I wish it were fragrance-free instead of having that medicinal scent, which is quite disappointing. Also, I wouldn't recommend this to those looking for a rich, foamy cleansing product. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinNov 24, 2023
Usage: Great for winter use due to its mild acidity (less drying). Lathers well and helps calm small blemishes. Texture: Rich foam cleanser. Packaging: Easy to control amount with pump and tube design. Scent: Has an artificial medicinal smell. Not recommended for those sensitive to scents. Feel: Suitable for combination dehydrated skin. In summer, it may not remove excess oil completely. Better for winter use. Recommended for combination dehydrated or dry skin rather than oily skin types. If you're sensitive to scents, consider trying a different product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinSep 10, 2023
I've been using this consistently for a long time. It's truly a safe bet, so I highly recommend it. The downside is that it has a rubbery scent and doesn't lather well, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 13, 2023
My skin doesn't feel dry after washing. It leaves a smooth, clean, and fresh feeling. I really appreciate how gentle the ingredients are. The cleansing effectiveness is excellent! The scent is a bit peculiar... like plastic? Or maybe a mild dish soap smell? Still, it's better than using artificial fragrances. I wonder if they could have improved the scent with essential oils. When I had a lot of dead skin cells, it felt slightly irritating, perhaps because the outer layer was peeling off. For best results, pump once onto dry skin, gently massage in circular motions, then rinse with water. It cleanses thoroughly this way! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 11, 2023
First off, I love how gentle and hydrating it is! There's no tightness after cleansing, and my skin feels so soft. I have combination skin, and I'm using this low pH cleanser without any issues. Being a gel formula, it doesn't produce much foam and its cleansing effectiveness is on the milder side. That's why it's perfect for morning cleansing. The scent might be hit or miss for some. When I first used it, the plastic-like smell was hard to get used to, but after three months of use, it doesn't bother me anymore. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 10, 2023
It's really gentle and non-irritating. After using it, my blemishes have significantly reduced! The foam lathers up really well too. There's a slightly artificial scent? But other than that, I have no complaints!
