The curls were well-defined, glossy, and bouncy without any stickiness. As it was bleached, it was a bit frizzy, but the curls lasted longer after applying it after using a curling iron. This was the first curl cream I've tried, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it defined my curls and helped maintain volume! When I apply the curl cream, I can keep my curls all day, and the hold is pretty good, except on rainy days. As a first-time user, I think the product performs well. After applying and drying, the curls at the ends are nicely set and stay in place all day!
Cons
As a first-time user of the Chahong products, I found the fragrance to be quite off-putting. Fragrance is a matter of personal preference, but this one seems to be quite strong, almost like a perm or hair dye solution - a sharp, pungent scent that I, as someone who prefers more subtle fragrances, did not care for. When I wear it in the morning, the scent lingers all day, and the faint remnants are the best part.😢 I imagine the fragrance will be divisive, as it's quite strong. While the curl hold is good, the fragrance makes it difficult for me to use this product regularly. It's a shame.
Tip
When I mixed in another perfume to layer the fragrance, it helped improve the scent a bit!

⭐️I have a dry scalp that is prone to flaking!⭐️ I usually don't use hair essences or creams much because of the sticky feeling after use, but with this product, I found that the stickiness and greasiness are not as severe compared to other products. That was the best part for me!😊 I typically apply the cream right after washing my hair and then fully dry my hair before using a curling iron. When I use the cream, my hair is much more manageable and the volume lasts longer! I was really surprised!! 🤭🤭 I didn't know how much I needed this until I started using it, and now I don't think I can live without it. The scent seems to be quite polarizing, but I'm a big fan! It has a salon-like fragrance, and I feel happy every time I apply it. 😆

First of all, the package is so pretty and right up my alley. This is a refreshing wave cream that provides elasticity and shine after perming or drying. It contains a complex of herbal extracts and white lotus flower extract, which are said to provide long-lasting protection for the hair's barrier. The product helps to gently style the entire hair and enhances volume. I just got a setting perm about a month ago. It's starting to loosen up now. I usually don't respond well to perms and have a lot of hair, so the perm tends to fall out easily. That's why a curl cream is an absolute must for me! I wasn't really seeing noticeable effects from the curl cream I was using before, so I decided to try the Chahong 'Flexible Curl Cream' in hopes of better results. The texture is a creamy white, like a moisturizing cream. I was worried it might feel sticky, but it applies lightly without any stickiness. Great! After towel-drying the hair so it's still a bit damp but not dripping wet, I squeeze out about a coin-sized amount and rub it evenly all over my hair with my palms (like brushing with my fingers). The scent is so lovely, a mix of soap and floral notes. I can definitely tell the difference in my hair before and after using the curl cream. From now on, I'll be sticking with the Chahong curl cream.
