This toner is perfect for oily skin types, especially during summer! It does a great job of controlling dead skin cells and excess oil. While it's great in many ways, the price is a bit steep... It's a bit too expensive for students to purchase. The product effectively manages excess sebum and exfoliates, making it an ideal choice for those with oily complexions, particularly in the warmer months. However, the higher price point may be a barrier for budget-conscious consumers, such as students. - ja*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
This hydrating toner absorbs quickly and finishes with a fresh feel, without any stickiness. It's a low-irritation product that's suitable even for sensitive skin, and it was really great for acne-prone skin and blemishes. It's excellent for sebum control and preventing breakouts, and its skin-soothing effects are so good that I find myself reaching for it often. It's also effective in improving skin texture - with daily use, I could feel my skin becoming softer and smoother. The Hwahae Testers would approve! For those with dry skin, it might not provide quite enough moisture, so additional hydration may be necessary. People sensitive to fragrances might find it slightly irritating. The ampoule and cream from this line are also truly amazing. If you have blemish-prone skin, I strongly recommend trying them together. - na********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 22, 2025
A gentle, low pH toner that glides on like water. It's non-irritating and perfect for daily use. Applying too much might lead to excessive exfoliation of dead skin cells. After use, there's a slight oily residue left on the skin. - rl**********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
Since switching my skincare line to La Roche-Posay for my dry skin, my complexion has become more hydrated and improved significantly! I honestly can't think of any drawbacks. I'm absolutely loving this product! When your skin feels super dry or tight, try soaking a cotton pad with this toner and using it as a quick mask. It works wonders! - ya*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 23, 2025
It definitely feels heavier and more hydrating than a typical toner, providing intense moisture in one go. I'm really enjoying using it! This toner works fine when I just apply an emulsion over it, but when I add a regenerating cream on top, it becomes too heavy and causes blemishes. So I only use it when I'm not using the regenerating cream. - ia***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 14, 2025
I've been using this consistently since a dermatologist recommended it 4 years ago! As someone with oily skin, I love its oil-free, water-like texture. This product is completely free of oils, so those with dry skin might find it too drying. - ay*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 13, 2025
Absorbs well: The texture is truly water-like and flows smoothly, quickly sinking into the skin! Absorption: Even with multiple layers, it feels like it's being well absorbed by the skin. Recommended skin type: I'd suggest this for those with oily skin. It contains powder, which is useful for managing excess oil! I saw great results on small, millet-like blemishes! However, it doesn't seem to be effective on red, inflammatory acne. - wo******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 21, 2024
I trust and use this brand as it was frequently prescribed by dermatologists for acne-prone skin in the past. It has a water-like texture with a slight medicinal scent, but it's not overpowering. My blemishes have definitely decreased and my skin's oiliness has reduced! It's great for oily skin types. I used it when my acne was severe, then stopped for a while. Now that my acne has flared up again, I've started using it once more. While it doesn't make the acne disappear dramatically, it does prevent new blemishes from forming, so I plan to use it consistently. The downside is the quantity and price. The amount you get isn't generous compared to the price, so it's definitely advantageous to buy it during sales. I find it's better to use Doctar rather than Hupto for refining skin texture, as it's gentler and doesn't irritate the skin. If your skin feels too dry, it helps to apply a thin layer and gently pat it in for better absorption. - ju****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 4, 2024
It applies smoothly and doesn't cause any blemishes. I really like it and would recommend it! There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. If I had to pick something, maybe just the discount rate... - ju**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 18, 2024
Ever since I bought this, it's the only one I use. I love everything about it - from the texture to how it feels on my skin. To be honest, I can't think of anything negative to say about this product. It's been that good!
