  Pros

  The dead skin cell removal effect is really great. Even after just one use, my skin texture becomes noticeably softer. It has a nutty, grain-like scent, but it's not overwhelming at all. While the foam isn't particularly abundant, it lathers up well enough. The blackheads that used to feel bumpy now feel smooth to the touch after cleansing with this powder wash. The small hole in the container makes it easy to control the amount you use. I love that my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after cleansing.

  Cons

  If you use it with too little water, the formula clumps together and can be irritating when rubbing it on your skin. It seems you really need to use plenty of water to create a good lather before applying. When rinsing, it has that typical slightly slippery feel of low pH cleansers, which might leave a residual sensation for some.

  Tip

  To use without irritation, make sure to dispense it into your hand, mix it with plenty of water, and create a sufficient lather before applying to your skin.

  Pros

  The foam lathers up nicely and feels gentle on the skin! After using it, there's no tight feeling, and it's mild and pleasant. It doesn't cause any blemishes, and even though I usually just rinse with water in the morning, this cleanser isn't harsh so I use it in my morning routine too.

  Cons

  When wearing makeup, you need to use it twice. There's not really anything disappointing about it, but it's smaller than I expected.

  Tip

  If you use it with damp hands, it lathers up well without needing to add more water. I recommend rinsing your face with water first before using this cleanser.

However, as winter approached, I felt tightness and dryness after cleansing. I ordered this product wanting a gentle exfoliation and sebum control. Compared to other brands, this product definitely has finer particles, making it non-irritating when massaging. It creates a soft lather and is great for cleansing without irritation. After cleansing, my skin feels moisturized, and I can feel my nose becoming smoother. It's a product that delivers noticeable results.

  The biggest advantage is that it cleanses thoroughly while leaving the skin feeling soft and not dry.

  Cons

  I feel like I've been using the Enzyme Powder Wash for a decade, and now they've discontinued it. (I just found out this month it was discontinued, while I still have a stockpile to use up...) The new powder cleanser has been reduced from 80g to 50g. The price is similar, which is disappointing. Also, it seems to produce less foam than before.

  Tip

  If you sprinkle it onto wet hands from a distance, like Chef Choi Hyun-seok seasoning with salt, you won't have to worry about the opening getting clogged.

  First off, my skin type is perfectly combination dehydrated. While I still have some blemishes, I'm under dermatological treatment and I'm extremely sensitive to breakouts. I'm also very mindful of dryness after cleansing. What stands out about this product is how incredibly gentle it is. It's so mild, it's almost unbelievable! Throughout the week I used it, there was absolutely no irritation, and it did a fantastic job of calming my skin. I was a bit uneasy about only using water to cleanse away overnight impurities, but stronger cleansers felt too harsh... In that respect, this soybean wash is just perfect! Regarding the formula, since it's a dry type, I think it would be great for travel or use on airplanes.

  While I do follow up with skincare immediately after cleansing, this product does leave my skin feeling slightly - just a tiny bit - dry. Unlike viscous products that don't cause tightness after use, this one does feel a bit drying due to its unique formulation. Of course, this sensation is less noticeable if you apply skincare right away. I'm not sure if it would thoroughly remove heavy makeup or cleanse highly polluted skin... I think this product is best suited as a gentle, pH-balanced cleanser for morning use.
