First off, I'm meticulous about checking ingredients, and this product's formulation is impeccable, giving me peace of mind every time I use it. Secondly, even the best ingredients are useless if they cause breakouts or fail to soothe the skin. This powder cleanser, which transforms into a foam when mixed with water, has been gentle enough for both my morning routine and evening double cleanse (following oil cleansing) without causing any major skin issues. The powder format feels like it's gently exfoliating, and the fine, soft foam seems to provide a thorough yet gentle deep cleanse, making it a staple in my skincare routine. Packaging-wise, it's a refreshing change from the typical 100-150g tube cleansers. It comes in a plastic case similar to a toner bottle, compact and minimalist with a clean white design that looks great in the bathroom. Its size is perfect for travel or gym use. I was initially concerned about moisture affecting the powder, expecting a more vacuum-sealed container. However, after a month of use, the powder remains dry and effective each time, alleviating my worries.
ConsThe powder format can lead to overuse, so I wish the price was a bit lower for the current volume. That would make it absolutely perfect!

First off, I really appreciated how gentle the product is. I usually prefer low pH products, and this one is especially great when I'm not wearing makeup. I typically do a quick cleanse in the morning, and I always reach for a low pH product. This one fits the bill perfectly. You can really feel how mild it is while using it! I tried a powder cleanser for the first time, and it was such a refreshing experience! I've always used oil or foam cleansers, so watching the powder transform into foam was quite fascinating. As you can see from the ingredient list, the formulation is excellent. According to the description, it's a vegan-friendly product. It's also a 98% naturally derived, low pH powder wash, which gave me peace of mind as someone who prioritizes ingredients.
ConsThe instructions mention that you can leave it on the skin for exfoliation purposes, but I'm not a fan of that gritty feeling, so I didn't really use it for dead skin cell removal. Of course, this is just a personal preference! One of the product's selling points is its powder form, but as a result, it definitely produced less foam compared to regular foam cleansers. I tend to enjoy that uniquely soft feeling when there's lots of foam, so I found this aspect a bit disappointing.
TipGiven how gentle the product is, I felt it was unrealistic to expect high cleansing effectiveness. That's why I think it's perfect for a light morning cleanse, when you're not wearing makeup, or as a second-step cleanser. For reference, these days I only wear sunscreen due to mask-wearing, and this product was more than capable of removing just sunscreen.

I did a double cleanse - first with oil, then with this soy powder wash! Ingredients: There weren't any particularly concerning ingredients. I didn't experience any new blemishes or reactions. The formula seems quite gentle overall! Texture: It's a powder format, which I thought might be inconvenient. But it wasn't too fussy - just pour a bit into your hand, lather with water, and cleanse. Not bad at all! Cleansing effectiveness: After my first oil cleanse, I sometimes still had residue. But after using this as a second cleanse, there was no residue left! While the cleansing power isn't extraordinary, it's pretty good for a powder cleanser.
ConsBeing a powder, it's not easy to control how much product you use. Also, it's on the pricier side.
TipIt works great as a final cleanse or morning cleanser for a fresh feel. You can also mix a bit into your regular cleansing foam for an extra boost!

The scent wasn't artificial, which was great! Also, it left no residue on my hands and my skin felt fresh afterwards.
ConsSince it's a powder type, naturally... you shouldn't add too much water! If you put the powder on your hand and add just the right amount of water, it lathers up quite nicely.
TipIf you add a moderate amount of water to the powder on dry hands, it creates a soft foam that allows for a clean and refreshing cleansing experience.

It wasn't irritating at all, and the scent was pleasant too. Overall, it gave me a nice, comfortable feeling!
ConsAs someone with oily skin, I prefer cleansers that leave my face feeling refreshed, but this one didn't quite hit the mark. It left a moisturizing film, which might be great for those with dry skin. Being a powder type, it's harder to use sparingly compared to foam cleansers, as some of it washes away with water. I've been using Dr.G sunscreen lately, and I didn't feel like this cleanser removed it completely. I think a double cleanse might be necessary.

When you put about a fingernail's worth of powder on your wet hands and rub, it gradually foams up and transforms into a mousse-like consistency. Being a powder, it seems convenient to portion out for travel. When there are some powder granules left, you can gently roll them on your face for a light exfoliation of dead skin cells. Ingredients: It's mildly acidic, and after researching the ingredients, I found it's really gentle. Personally, I have combination dehydrated skin, so I prioritize balancing oil and moisture. What I liked most was how gentle it is and how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness after cleansing. Cleansing effectiveness: I tried it after wearing light daily makeup, and it seems to cleanse well. It washes away oiliness effectively, leaving the skin feeling clean but not overly tight, with a moisturized finish.
ConsSince it's a powder formula, if you turn on the water too much while it's on your hands, the powder can fly away. To create a good lather, put the powder on damp hands and gently rub. Don't use too much water, especially be careful not to let running tap water touch it, or the powder will disappear. Although I didn't purchase this product myself, the price seems a bit high for the amount you get.
TipYou can create an even richer lather by putting the powder in a foam maker, adding water, and whipping it up!
