My skin feels brighter, and the ingredients are absolutely fantastic!
ConsI always apply sunscreen before heading to work, but when I wash my face after coming home, it doesn't feel like it's cleaning thoroughly. Also, since it's a powder type, I found it a bit inconvenient. Controlling the amount was tricky, and if I didn't get the water ratio right, it would mostly run off, which was disappointing.
TipI mentioned the runoff as a downside, but I found using it with a foam maker made it much more convenient!

Cleansing effectiveness It's as effective as a regular foam cleanser in removing oil and impurities. When you gently massage it on your skin with less foam, it can even exfoliate dead skin cells. 2. Gentle ingredients Even with my seborrheic dermatitis-prone skin that reacts to the slightest problematic ingredient, I found this product to be quite gentle.
Cons1. Difficulty controlling amount Being a powder, it's challenging to control how much to use. While it's pricier compared to other cleansers, the powder format makes it easy to overuse without realizing how much you're actually applying. 2. Clumping When the powder meets water, it can form clumps. These clumps sometimes don't fully dissolve and end up sticking to your face before falling off. You'll need to be careful about this.
TipFor easier use, wet your hands and face first, then pour some powder into your palm. Rub your hands together to create a lather, and then cleanse your face with the foam.

I did a double cleanse - first with oil, then with this soy powder wash! Ingredients: There weren't any particularly concerning ingredients. I didn't experience any new blemishes or reactions. The formula seems quite gentle overall! Texture: It's a powder format, which I thought might be inconvenient. But it wasn't too fussy - just pour a bit into your hand, lather with water, and cleanse. Not bad at all! Cleansing effectiveness: After my first oil cleanse, I sometimes still had residue. But after using this as a second cleanse, there was no residue left! While the cleansing power isn't extraordinary, it's pretty good for a powder cleanser.
ConsBeing a powder, it's not easy to control how much product you use. Also, it's on the pricier side.
TipIt works great as a final cleanse or morning cleanser for a fresh feel. You can also mix a bit into your regular cleansing foam for an extra boost!

It's very mild and non-irritating. With all the blemishes I've been getting from wearing masks lately, this cleanser doesn't sting at all and leaves my skin feeling hydrated after washing.
ConsIt's tricky to get the right amount of product. Being a powder form, I wasn't sure how much to use at first and ended up wasting some. I wish the package contained a bit more product. Also, while I thought you could exfoliate with it using less water, it turns into foam so you can't really use the granules for exfoliation.
TipEven a small amount of powder creates a rich lather. It's great for a second cleanse after removing makeup.

Extremely sensitive skin. - Rarely wears makeup (usually just sunscreen, lipstick, and brow products) < Product Features > - Small white granules, about the size of fine table salt - Dissolves when wet and lathers when rubbed - Foam is neither particularly fine nor abundant - Feels incredibly soft and smooth - Cleansing effectiveness: As I rarely wear makeup, it easily removes basic cosmetics (mineral sunscreen, lipstick, brow products). ⭐ Good ingredients. Gentle product. ⭐ Gently manages whiteheads, uneven texture, and dead skin cells. ⭐ After use, skin feels incredibly soft and smooth.
ConsThe container design is a bit awkward to use. It has a small hole opening, and when you flip it over, the granules pour out quickly. The only way to control the amount is through the timing of my wrist snap. It's not terribly inconvenient, but if I accidentally drop the container, it could be a disaster.
TipInstead of trying to dissolve the product in your hands to create foam, use it like an exfoliant by applying it to your fingertips and massaging it onto your face. It's particularly effective when you rub the granules onto areas with whiteheads or other skin concerns, allowing them to dissolve. 1. First, rinse your face with water. 2. Dispense an appropriate amount of the product into your hand. 3. Apply the product to your fingertips and massage it onto problem areas in a circular motion. 4. Once the granules have sufficiently dissolved and created foam, spread the foam over your entire face while massaging to cleanse.

In the evenings, I used this as a second cleanse after removing makeup with cleansing water. It doesn't over-cleanse, so my face didn't feel tight after washing. On summer mornings when a water rinse feels insufficient but a cleansing foam seems too harsh, this soybean powder wash provided a non-drying cleanse. ✔ Powder particles don't dissolve immediately in water While some might see this as a drawback, I found it beneficial. With other powder cleansers, they often wash away before I can even work up a lather. Though the particles are a bit large and coarse, it made creating foam easier, which I saw as an advantage. ✔ Improves skin texture After using it morning and night for about 3 days, my skin texture became noticeably smoother.
Cons✔ May not satisfy those with heavy makeup or oily skin. The cleansing power isn't strong, so it might not remove all makeup if used alone. In my test, it didn't fully remove NARS concealer or Bobbi Brown cushion foundation. ✔ Difficult to control the amount. While I prefer non-single-use packaging for environmental reasons, this multi-use container has its downsides. Often, a gentle tap turns into an avalanche of powder. ✔ No significant improvement for problem skin. While we shouldn't expect too much from a cleansing product, it doesn't provide much exfoliation, so blackheads and whiteheads remain. It functions just as a basic, gentle cleanser.
TipSkin type: Combination, sensitive to irritation, with small bumpy texture (not acne) ✔ Used as a standalone cleanser in the morning and as a second cleanse ✔ Tried it as a pack/scrub as suggested on the packaging ➖ As a scrub: Mixed with cleansing foam and massaged until the granules dissolved. My sensitive skin felt a bit tingly afterwards. It might be better to partially dissolve the granules before use or opt for a different scrub product. For non-sensitive skin, a gentle weekly use might work. Recommended for spot treatments (nose, chin) rather than all-over use. ➖ As a pack: Hoping for an egg-pack-like effect, I applied a thick foam layer for about 5 minutes. The short duration might be why, but I didn't notice any particular effects. ✔ It's easier to control by putting powder in your palm and gradually adding water to adjust the foam. Using a foam net or konjac sponge creates a richer lather.

It washed away thoroughly without leaving any residue or impurities. Texture: The product comes in a powder form, consisting of small, lightweight granules before contact with water. Once wet, these granules naturally dissolve, creating a lather. I was worried that being a powder type might result in less foam, but it produces just as much lather as other foam cleansers, allowing for a gentle cleanse without irritating the skin. Sensitivity: Even though I have combination dehydrated skin that's prone to sensitivity, this cleanser allowed for a gentle, non-irritating cleanse. Oil and moisture balance: After washing, there's no tightness or oiliness, indicating a good balance of oil and moisture. Unlike many foam cleansers that strip away the skin's natural moisture, this powder wash cleanses thoroughly while maintaining hydration, removing impurities and residue without leaving the skin feeling stripped.
ConsAs it's a powder wash type, controlling the amount can be somewhat challenging. Also, the quantity feels less than expected and runs out quickly. It gives the impression of having a smaller volume for its price point.
TipWhen cleansing, wet your face slightly first, then form a sufficient lather before washing. For an extra boost, try applying it like a wash-off mask - leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing off. This method can leave your skin feeling more hydrated and smooth.
