Perfect for lazy people like me who hate making foam. After rinsing, my skin feels as smooth as if I'd used a bar soap. The packaging design is quite sophisticated too.
ConsDespite being called a 'Deep Clean Soothing Foaming' cleanser, it neither deep cleans (poor cleansing effectiveness) nor soothes. It does smooth the skin, though. Surprisingly, even with my oily skin, it left me feeling dry. Oddly enough, after washing and patting dry, my skin feels really dehydrated (which didn't happen with other foams). I had high hopes for this cleansing foam, thinking it would be as good as Neutrogena, but it falls short of expectations.

Moisturizing As someone who doesn't particularly enjoy that squeaky-clean feeling, I really appreciated how hydrating this product is. 2. No tightness after cleansing Usually, products leave my skin feeling extremely tight and dry after washing, but this one didn't cause any tightness at all! For reference, I have combination dehydrated skin. 3. Lathers well with a small amount I tried using it for my morning cleanse as well, and I was impressed that even a tiny amount produced a good lather. That was another plus! 4. Pleasant fragrance
ConsDisadvantages: 1. The foam isn't fine and dense The lather felt more like soap bubbles rather than a rich, creamy foam. While it does produce a good amount of lather, I was disappointed that it wasn't the type of foam that really helps to draw out impurities.
TipPro tip: Using a foam net might help create a denser, creamier lather for a more effective cleanse!

(Mascara came off easily as it was the removable type, so that doesn't count!) While it removed eyeshadow and lipstick, it didn't completely remove foundation. If you're using it to remove makeup, a double cleanse is absolutely essential. Scent ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ There's a very faint cica scent, almost unscented... Checking the ingredients list, I noticed it's fragrance-free. As other reviewers have mentioned, I never experienced any eye irritation or stinging while rinsing. Even those with fragrance sensitivities should be able to use this comfortably! Soothing effect ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ *Review after 10 days of use (See photo: Skin immediately after cleansing on Day 1 vs Day 10 of using the Soothing Foaming Cleanser) The cleanser claims to remove ultra-fine dust and protect the skin barrier. Perhaps that's why there's no deep dryness after cleansing. While not a dramatic effect, it significantly reduced post-cleanse redness. I also noticed great soothing benefits during hormonal days.
ConsIt's unfortunate that those with blemish-prone skin shouldn't double cleanse, yet it's necessary when using this for makeup removal. Other than that, I didn't find any particular drawbacks.
TipAs mentioned earlier, there was absolutely no eye irritation or stinging when rinsing with water. I highly recommend this to those who can't stand eye irritation during cleansing!

It's incredibly gentle, probably due to the cica ingredient. Many people these days are sensitive to fragrances and worry about various products, but this one has a very mild scent. Even when you lather it up and massage it on your face, there's no overwhelming fragrance at all. Some foam cleansers can feel stiff when you squeeze them out, making them uncomfortable to use, but this cleanser is so soft that it comes out easily without having to squeeze hard. The best part is that even though I have sensitive combination skin that's prone to irritation, dryness, and flakiness, this cleanser is so gentle that it seems to moisturize really well. For those with oily skin who might worry about it making their skin greasier, it's surprisingly gentle while still effectively removing oil. Amazingly, even after not applying any emulsion for 3 days after cleansing, my face didn't feel tight at all. Usually, with other cleansers, my face feels tight and uncomfortable, requiring immediate application of emulsion, but maybe due to the cica, there's no tightness, which I really appreciate. I think it's great for people like me with sensitive combination skin, and even those sensitive to fragrances should be able to use it without worry.
ConsIf there's one downside, it's that as someone who rarely wears makeup, I don't notice any inconvenience, but those who wear more makeup might need to use a different cleansing oil as a first step. Since this is designed for sensitive skin, it seems to lack a bit of cleansing power to remove makeup completely.
TipFor those dealing with blemishes and rough skin due to mask-wearing these days, try cleansing with this product and gently massaging the affected areas with the foam. It seems to help a bit with soothing the skin.

But I've found a game-changer. I tried using this product twice daily for two weeks, as low pH is said to be good for folliculitis, and it's a Neutrogena product. • The product has a slightly runny consistency, reminiscent of shampoo, typical of low pH types. Interestingly, despite being a low pH foam, it creates a rich lather + provides sufficient cleansing power as a second step after oil cleansing. • The finish leaves your skin feeling slightly moisturized (or even a bit slippery). • To improve folliculitis, you need to strip away all oil from cleansing to skincare, but using a squeaky-clean foam cleanser can dry out your skin too much, leading to milia and acne. This product is perfect for such situations. • Today is the last day for The Hwahae Testers review, and after using it as much as possible for about 2 weeks, the unbearable itching from folliculitis when lying down has definitely decreased. The redness and irritation from potential folliculitis flare-ups have also noticeably improved. I'm truly satisfied with this product. • Another great point is the reduction of unnecessary plastic use - I really appreciate that!
Cons• If you prefer cleansing foams that leave your skin feeling squeaky clean, you might find the moisturizing finish a bit disappointing. • Although it claims to remove 99% of impurities, it might not be sufficient for makeup removal on its own. It's great as a second-step cleanser though!
TipCreate a rich lather and thoroughly cleanse your eyebrows and eyelashes too. Highly recommended for those suffering from folliculitis.

What I loved: As someone with combination-dry skin, my face usually feels tight after cleansing, and I need to apply a moisturizer right away. But after removing my makeup and cleansing with this product, that noticeable tightness was gone! It contains 0.5% cica, which helps soothe and hydrate sensitive skin. My skin has been visibly worse lately due to fine dust, but this cleanser is excellent at removing ultra-fine particles too! Plus, its slightly acidic pH is perfect for sensitive skin. Despite being a soothing cleanser, it doesn't leave any residue after washing. It maintains moisture while cleansing, and as someone sensitive to fragrances, I found the mild scent easy to use. A little goes a long way - it lathers up quickly, so the bottle should last quite a while!
ConsThe downside: While it's a deep cleanser, it can't completely remove all makeup on its own. For the sake of your skin, a primary cleanse is still absolutely necessary!
TipThis would be perfect to use on evenings when there's a lot of fine dust in the air! It's effective at removing ultra-fine particles and can help soothe skin irritated by face masks, thanks to its mildly acidic pH.
