It looked thick at first, but when I applied it, the texture wasn't bad at all I was disappointed by how oily it felt. It was a bit heavy even in winter - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinNov 17, 2022
Compared to other cica products, this one is more affordable and works well for me. I'm definitely considering repurchasing. In winter, I need to apply another essence after using this cica balm. As someone with dry skin, I find this works better for me. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2022
This product is an absolute must-have! I've finally found my holy grail skincare item. Thank you, Etude House, for this game-changer that's given my skin a new lease on life! First off, my skin responds really well to panthenol. I once used a 15% panthenol cream from Sidmool when my skin was in terrible condition, and it miraculously restored my skin barrier. However, due to panthenol's nature, creams with high concentrations tend to be quite thick, making the 15% version a bit heavy for daily use. Then I discovered this gem. Not only is it affordable, but it also boasts a remarkably simple formula with just 22 ingredients - a rarity in today's skincare world. This simplicity convinced me to give it a try. And let me tell you, this product is truly magical! As autumn and winter approached, my skin became extremely dry. I tried Physiogel, but it left my skin texture in shambles. On the day this product arrived, I applied a generous layer before bed. The next morning, I was astounded! The redness had disappeared, and my skin was visibly calmer. I'm not one to expect miracles from skincare, but seeing the results with my own eyes was incredible. It's only been 3-4 days, but I've been using this as my morning and evening cream since then. The improvement in my skin is remarkable. If you're sensitive to skincare ingredients, you absolutely must try this! Thank you, Etude House! Please keep this product in your lineup for a long time to come! It might be a bit dry for standalone use in autumn and winter. To be fair, my skin is extremely dehydrated, so this tends to happen with most products during the colder months. To combat this, I apply about three layers at night and two thick layers in the morning. This method works well, but it means I'll probably go through the 40ml quite quickly. Interestingly, even with multiple layers, it absorbs cleanly without any pilling or residue. It's quite impressive! While I don't wear makeup, I imagine it would work well under foundation too. When purchasing, I was torn between this and another product from the same line with an increased panthenol content of 10%. I chose this one because it had fewer ingredients overall (simpler formula). However, I believe the 10% version only had about 30 ingredients, so I'm considering trying that one after I finish this. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 20, 2022
Despite its balm-like texture, it's not heavy and absorbs well. I repurchased it after using it a few years ago, and it's still great as I remembered. Maybe it's because I'm using it in winter, but why does it feel like it's running out so quickly? I get sad every time I see the remaining amount decrease. Please don't discontinue this product! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 5, 2022
My skin barrier was compromised and I had acne-prone sensitive skin! I put a small amount in a contact lens case and applied it whenever my skin felt dry. I used it in combination with Beyond Angel Aqua Moisturizing Cream. Thanks to this, my skin barrier became stronger, and my blemishes and acne noticeably decreased! I have combination skin, but it doesn't get oily throughout the day, which is fantastic! In winter, it feels a bit lacking in hydration. This might be because I used this product alone without layering other products. Before makeup, apply a generous amount and place oil blotting paper on top. This absorbs excess oil, leaving your skin in perfect condition! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinOct 1, 2021
I really liked how gentle it was - even after applying multiple layers, it didn't pill and didn't feel sticky after application. If I had to point out something, maybe the absorption? It might be slightly insufficient for dry skin in winter. While there aren't any bad points, I haven't found any outstanding benefits yet either. When it was extremely dry in winter, I mixed in a few drops of bio-oil. This improved both the absorption and hydration. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2021
As someone with sensitive skin, I'm usually wary of products causing blemishes, but this one was great - no irritation at all! Despite its rich texture, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it absorbs. It doesn't feel heavy even under a mask. The best part? It doesn't get oily over time. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The product size seems a bit small. I've already used it all up and am repurchasing. I'm concerned it might not provide enough hydration for winter use. My skin tends to feel dry after a while. It's probably better suited for spring and summer. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 2, 2021
This is my holy grail product! It absolutely must never be discontinued. I bought it with my own money and it's worth every penny. The hydration might be slightly lacking for winter use. However, it's not a big deal since you can always layer an oil on top. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMar 8, 2021
I love how it's not sticky and absorbs well. The ingredients seem to be good quality too. While it's great for summer, it might be a bit too drying for winter use. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 13, 2021
I'm already on my third tube of this product. My skin is combination-oily, though I'm not entirely sure. Before bed, I apply a thick layer on blemish-prone areas and spread it thinly elsewhere. Unlike other cica balms that sometimes caused itching, this one doesn't at all. Even my high school sibling sneaks into my room at night to use it! There's nothing particularly negative to mention. While it doesn't dramatically transform your skin, I consistently apply it before bed. However, it can feel a bit dry when used alone, especially in winter. I always layer it after toner and emulsion. I even apply it after using a face mask. I apply in this order: toner - emulsion - cica balm. On days when I exfoliate while cleansing: ✔Dokdo Toner - Torriden Di-a-bine Hyaluronic Acid Serum - Torriden Cell Mazing Centella Real Emulsion - Cica Balm On days without exfoliation: ✔COSRX AHA/BHA Toner - Torriden Centella Real Emulsion - Cica Balm Even with this routine, it seems inevitable that I get acne before my period. It helps prevent major scarring, but I'm not sure about prevention.
