It's moisturizing and feels light on the skin, making it easy to use without any discomfort. It's also gentle and doesn't cause much irritation. After popping a pimple, applying this product caused a stinging sensation. It also felt a bit rich on the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 1, 2022
As someone with sensitive skin, I couldn't find any positives, only discomfort After applying, my skin turned red and felt a tingling sensation, so I washed it off immediately. If you have super sensitive skin, please don't use this product! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinNov 7, 2021
As someone who's tried countless skincare products, I find this one pretty decent for acne-prone skin! After using a cotton pad, I apply a light second layer, and it provides ample hydration. It can sting occasionally, which is a bit disappointing even for an acne-specific product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 27, 2021
I've been using this for three years now! While I'm not sure about its soothing effects, I love how cool it feels when applied and that it's not sticky at all. I'm not certain about its calming effects, and it does sting a bit on areas with blemishes... - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 30, 2021
My skin type: Combination + blemish-prone + sensitive - the trifecta! Absorbs quickly: It's fully absorbed after about 30 seconds of gentle patting. Matte finish, hydrated inside: Feels matte on the surface but hydrated underneath. Not super hydrating, but perfect for summer use. For spring, it's not drying, but maybe not necessary. Less sebum the next day: Noticed less oil in the T-zone than usual. However, this effect was minimal when followed with a rich cream (which makes sense, I suppose). Nearly fragrance-free, not bothersome: There's a very faint powdery scent, but it's extremely subtle. Slight powdery residue on skin: Not majorly bothersome, but the powder doesn't seem to fully absorb, leaving a slightly uncomfortable feeling. No noticeable soothing effect: Felt a tiny tingle when applying. While it doesn't seem to cause more blemishes, I'm not sure if it actually soothes the skin either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 18, 2020
I loved how it applied smoothly without being sticky, leaving a cool sensation. It's quite affordable for a blemish-fighting product. It stings when applied, especially if it gets near the eyes. I have combination skin and bought this for acne, but it doesn't calm blemishes at all. I used up the entire bottle and saw no results. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 24, 2020
Initially, I was put off by the settled contents, but it's not sticky at all and provides great hydration. Surprisingly, it has a subtle fragrance that made application enjoyable. I bought this because it claimed to absorb excess oil and soothe the skin, but I didn't notice those effects. Instead, it caused a tingling sensation on my super sensitive skin. Also, the wide opening makes it easy to accidentally spill the entire product. The product settles, so make sure to shake well before use! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 25, 2020
I'm on my 4th bottle after emptying 3 - that's how much I love it for my oily, somewhat sensitive skin (though not extremely sensitive). This toner is perfect when my skin feels extra oily or I'm dealing with a lot of dead skin cells. It's especially suitable for oily skin types as it leaves a refreshing feel. I'd recommend using it with a cotton pad to wipe rather than patting it in for absorption. For those with super sensitive skin or during sensitive skin phases, wiping with this toner can cause a burning sensation and be quite irritating. It's particularly harsh around the nose area - you'll definitely feel the tingling. It might be too drying for those with dry skin types. While my skin gets oily even with just toner, that may not be the case for everyone with dry skin. If you have oily skin, try this routine: use a cotton pad to wipe your face twice with the toner, let it absorb, then generously apply a hydrating moisturizer. That's all you need for great results! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinMar 20, 2020
I love applying this toner to a cotton pad and gently wiping my face before bed. Leaving it on for 10 minutes gives my skin a wonderful boost of hydration. Sometimes it causes redness or a tingling sensation, which can be uncomfortable. In my personal opinion, using this as a mask with a cotton pad before bedtime seems to work wonders. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 5, 2020
I used to dislike this product and had relegated it to the back of my shelf, but when I ran out of my regular skincare, I started using it again out of necessity. First off, this product contains a pink powder-like substance that needs to be mixed before use. The description says it's a silica powder that helps absorb excess sebum. After using it for a few days, I'm pleasantly surprised. I applied it with a cotton pad like a toner after cleansing, and it worked well. It contains ingredients that help with dead skin cell removal, and I definitely noticed my skin becoming smoother with a calming effect. I was worried it might be too drying since it's meant for sebum control, but the finish was just refreshingly balanced - not drying at all. Most importantly, I'm satisfied that it didn't cause any blemishes. I can't remember why I disliked it before, but based on my recent experience, it's a solid, reliable product. There weren't many downsides, but occasionally when using it as an exfoliating toner, I felt a slight tingling sensation. Also, the packaging is a bit disappointing as the product can sometimes pour out too quickly if you're not careful.
